Good food, and now with a 4* food hygiene rating, but takeaway has no presence on the web for ordering, a FB page with poor quality images of menu, and no delivery anymore, plus they charge you extra for card payments.

Meal today was ok but I am truly gutted that the old owners have gone. Never has anyone made S&P ribs like them and the new owners definitely don’t. I used to get Roast Duck Hong Kong style and this is no longer available. Very standard menu now. Not special at all. Sad times. If anyone knows if the old owners have set up somewhere else, please post here.

Good value, tasty food. Lovely and clean. We chose a few vegetarian dishes and they had had loads of different veg. The chow mein in particular was a winner!

New owners should have changed the name as keeping it as the Chi Nar is deceiving. The food is not a patch on the old Chi Nar. Really really poor food, not a single dish was very nice. Possibly the worst crispy chilli beef I’ve ever had (not sure there was any beef in it).

Ordered late on a Sunday to be fair but to sum up place is awful ordered crispy chillie beef DON`T make the same mistake, it was basically slugs of beef in a black bean sauce! I do myself like black bean sauce but not what I ordered and prefer chicken with black bean. I also ordered salt and pepper chicken wings which I can only describe eating to be like chewing antivandal paint off a slate roof. Salt and pepper chips were expensive (if not the whole order) and left something to be desired! Picked here for the reviews but certainly not impressed wish me luck in my endeavour for a refund but I doubt it will arrive id suggest somewhere else

La primera vez que ordené desde aquí y obtuve mi chow mein de pollo habitual, puedo decir con seguridad que fue el tamaño de porción más pequeño que he tenido y el peor sabor. No puedo creer que algo tan simple de cocinar se haya hecho tan mal.

Esta es mi peor experiencia hasta ahora. El pollo tenía horribles partes de carne y la guarnición de los alrededores estaba severamente cocida. JustEat y el negocio no fueron de ninguna ayuda y negaron la imagen a continuación que muestra alimentos cocinados en exceso. De acuerdo, no soy un chef, pero no tienes que ser Jamie Oliver para saber cómo se ve y sabe la comida asquerosamente cocida.

Omg. That has to be the worst Chinese I have ever tasted . Literally threw it in the bin . Just coated in grease. I never leave reviews but this place deserved it . Awful

Fried beef with satay wasn't spicy, was tasteless. The chips weren't even chippy chips (McCains clearly). Beef curry was VERY mild (and that's coming from someone who can't handle spice!!). Egg fried rice had no egg in it. Chicken fried rice was like charcoal and managed to pick the chicken out and that was all. All fried rice was as dry as Gandhi's flip flop. Salt and Pepper wings had no kick to it and all the onions were burnt. Salt & Pepper Sui mai were just a ball of onion - no meat in it at all. First time trying here, and the best part of the food was the prawn crackers. Absolutely disgusting. NEVER AGAIN. Will not be recommending to anyone.

Fantastic delivery driver. Quality of meal exceptional. Especially duck with ginger and spring onion. Not everybody will like it but we eat traditional Chinese thanks to relatives and this was authentic. Very clean after taste. Wonderful meal.

Ordered from here for the first time and it was BRILLIANT. Ordered salt and pepper chicken with fried rice and Singapore vermicelli - so very tasty and will DEFINITELY be using these again!

This used to be a great takeaway. I don't know what has happened but the containers were half full and the crab and sweet corn soup we ordered had prawns in, not crab, and they tasted off. Will never use again

Really quick delivery, food was piping hot and the delivery driver was really nice. The food was lovely apart from the chips, they were more like cheap oven chips rather than chippy chips, so for this reason I won't be ordering from here again I'm afraid.

Yet again, experience spoilt by an hour and 20 minute delivery time - 25 minutes later than promised and they charge £2 for delivery - twice what everyone else does. Sea spice beef tasted nice but was almost dry and the container half full -no where near as good as previous visits - maybe just a bad night

Best Chinese so far and cheaper than I expected. Char Sui fried rice NOT greasy at all, sweetcorn soup not too sweet and chips were gorgeous, duck already shredded for me. Salt and pepper chicken a bit too salty but still a great meal. Friendly delivery guy.

This is a very small Chineese and it does not look like much from the outside but the food is amazing. We love how fresh the food is from here. Very polite and happy family buisness.
