The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food came really fast and was delicious! The portions are really generous so we ended up taking two boxes of food home! The restaurant an toilets were really clean also. Thanks so much we'll definitely visit here often :)

This is a great place if you are hungry when near to the University hospital. I had not eaten since a light breakfast, and was ready for a tasty meal! I ordered the Char Siu pork and crispy duck with fried rice and Choi vegetables, for £10.20. It arrived within two minutes! A huge dish. The quality was good, and the proportions enormous. The duck was very crispy and tasty, the meat tender, succulent and delicate flavoured. The duck skin was very crispy, and as good as any I have had in top Hong Kong restaurants. The fried rice was also very good, and the blanched Chinese cabbage leaves were perfectly served - i.e. just a little crunchy. The Char Siu was very lean, but rather dry and not as tasty as I have had before. But the overall quality of the food was very good, and excellent value. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If you come here to eat inside (as opposed to take away), then look out for the condiments table, where there is extra soy sauce, a sweet chilli sauce, and a very good chilli oil sauce in a stainless steel pitcher. If you like spicy food, then this is a must have! You need to stir the contents of the pitcher as the chilli part settles and then spoon (cautiously) on to you bowl. The impact is as good as being at a genuine Dia Pai Dong in Hong Kong!

I ordered takeaway from here. The food was amazing! This place is like hidden gem. It is proper Chinese food. Not like other restaurants. I used to study in China and this one taste just like the one I had in China. The quality, quantity and service are amazing!

First visit since it opened .. the hot and sour soup was pretty good .. the beef with onion and chilli was good .. nice sweet flavour .. looking forward to a follow up visit.

Best authentic Chinese food in Liverpool. Highly recommend to try fish with pickled cabbage. So savoury and tasty. The service is superb.

Sichuan and fish soup was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice, and the staff were not only good but also incredibly friendly. Their warm hospitality truly made my heart happy. Been here a few times! Stumbled on it by accident but honestly! Il never eat at another Chinese eating place! The best selection of food available and the set menu is perfect for £11.50

Campus Noodle Bar in Liverpool is a hidden gem! Their food is simply outstanding. The noodles were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, and their dumplings were to die for. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're in Liverpool and craving Chinese cuisine, Campus Noodle Bar is a must-visit. Easily deserving of 5 stars!

Popped in to order, was charged £5+ more than I should have for a food to takeaway and it was not what I ordered. Paid £17 for two pieces of chicken and some old scraggly chicken pieces (no as per prices on the menu). Totally disappointing. Had I ordered a delivery I would have requested a refund.

Absolutely disgusting. Didn't seem hygienic. Checked the food hygiene rating and this was awarded ZERO on 17th February 2023 by Liverpool City Council. Sort it out.

Avoid this place at all cost!! Ordered a quarter crispy duck with pancakes and first of all it wasn't a quarter that's for sure. To say it was cremated was an understatement. We couldn't even pull it apart with our fingers never mind shred it. It was bone dry with hardly ley any meat on it. I asked for a refund but instead, the guy brought another one out exactly the same!! Even he had trouble breaking it apart. We tasted it and it was awful so we asked for a refund again. There was a delay, the staff were very rude not talking in English in front of us. Then another portion of duck was brought out after we told them we didn't want it!! I asked again for a refund and again there was a delay while they phoned the boss who told them we couldn't have a refund!! We then gave up and walked out! Obviously the customer isn't always right...

Nice food, terrible wait! We were grabbing some food on date night and arrived at 18:20 and ordered by 18:30. At 19:00 they came to the table and said they didn’t have crispy pork (which is what I had gone to this restaurant for). The host was apologetic but said “we had to cook three sets of take out meals before getting to your order and we only have one cook.” Food arrived 1920 (and only because I had asked to be prioritised as we were going to cinema) I felt for the host- when the food arrived I was the only person in a restaurant of about 25 people who had food. Hong Kong service is known for being quick, this was not. The food was pretty good, bar the chicken wings one of which did not look cooked Despite this, I will go back- the cook is good, I guess they might have just had a bad day for staffing. I wish them good luck going forward and recommend people go. The roast duck was good, as was the beef hotpot and salt and pepper chicken wings

Not interested in how staff look at me or indeed interact. However, food is important. Hee Kee does not fail on that point. Well priced interesting menu. It is what it is.

Great value and choice. As authentic as it gets. During dinner time, they have complimentary soup and rice that you help yourself too. Popular with students and free parking outside after 6pm. Handy as close to Lime street station and shops near by. I would highly recommend. Also they are on just eat so 20% off on Tuesdays.

Excellent food, reasonable price for good portion size. No fuss, no muss. Went in at lunch time just after opening. Easy to get a seat. A lot of Chinese students eat here.

Following a visit to the hospital we went in search of a bite to eat and noticed this place was very busy, predominantly with students but had a real buzz. I couldn’t believe the price and the food is fabulous, i had king prawn chilli garlic and my friend had special chow mein- I have never had portions of this size and food was gorgeous- I took 1/2 mine gone in a tub they provided. The prawn toast opener was equally fabulous- go there, try it

This is a fab little restaurant - always full of East Asian students so I hope that means it's authentic in flavours too. I've had lots of different dishes here but the Curry Laksa Noodle Soup is amazing - give it a try

A lunchtime visit with my family. We saw that the restaurant was well frequented and thought it was a good sign. Epic fail! Personnel unfriendly, food miserable, tasteless, and I also suspected use of rancid meats in the dumplings. I've travelled widely in China and know that any restaurant there would be ashamed to offer such disgusting trash to paying guests. Stay well away from this con joint.

Been going here since it opened a few years ago! Best Chinese in Liverpool and I’ve tried a view. Really good value for money. Super tasty and quick. Only negative is that they do not allow for card/contactless or Apple Pay payments however there is a cash machine other side of the road!

Went the (cafe) tonight , didn’t have a clue about gluten free , even though it’s stated on the menu , allergy we’re on the menu , so if you’ve got any allergy’s don’t go cos they can’t understand you ,

La última vez que fuimos se olvidaron de nuestra orden de 2 platos. . . . Nos estaban esperando y esperando y luego tuvimos que preguntar en el mostrador. . . . . Me había olvidado. . . . No hay disculpa. y luego la comida llegó apresuradamente juntas. . . . . Aspecto y sabor que como agua caliente había sido derramado sobre los fideos rápidamente para hacer la sopa de marisco!Otro problema es (y es una rara realmente) las porciones de arroz y platos de fideos son simplemente demasiado enorme que casi cada cliente deja una carga en su plato. . . . . Qué desperdicio. . . . . Corte el precio de la comida y el tamaño de la porción. . . . Eso seria una buena idea, sin embargo, creo que hemos conseguido el Campus fuera de nuestro sistema y partida al Sr. Chili por la carretera.
