K.C Fish & Chips in Liverpool

I have ordered from here 3 weekends in a row now. Every single time I go they are expanding their vegan menu on their website. I am absolutely delighted to have an incredible Chinese takeaway in North Liverpool that has lots of vegan options! I would highly recommend visiting here.

My review is for Yung Chow Chow Mein which I rated 4 star. The delivery was timely and driver was very friendly. I found the flavour of the food very tasty but it’s also very dry, as it seemed to be missing the oyster sauce usually found in recipes for this dish. I feel if the sauce and a few more vegetables were added to the onion and bean sprouts, I would rate a 5 or 6 star. Perhaps if KC doesn’t want to change their current recipe they might consider adding the sauce and a few bits of veg like carrot, peas, cabbage or pak choi to honour a special request. I think these additions would make this chow mein shine. There is a phone number to call but I can’t always get through to ask this type of question. Is an email address available or is it possible to add this type of request in a note to the restaurant when ordering? Thx

Very disappointed and angry. Ordered veggie spring rolls and while eating them found they contained meat. Will not be ordering from here again.

Had another delivery late July. KC fish and chips is now our favourite place to get a delivery of Chinese food, Ordered over phone and arrived piping hot within time specified. Had wonton soup and husband had hot and sour soup again( had this last i=time and it was delish.... We had starters to share rather than main meals. next we had the biggest quarter of crispy duck ever had from a takeaway - comes with spring onions and cucumber and 6 pancakes. Next we had honey spare ribs - fab tasting and meat fell off the bone. Next we had sui mais and spring rolls ( spring rolls a little too dry for me and seemed to have too much filo pastry on them and not enough filling). We shared a portion of salt and pepper chips. Apart form spring rolls everything was fab and arrived piping hot and tasted great.

Had a delivery for the first time on recommendations of family. So glad we did - excellant food. Had delivery in April and loved it so much ordered another one in May. We had soup - hot and sour and i had won ton soup - so tasty. We had a mix of starters - quarter of crispy duck and trimings ( great protion of duck too) - sui mais - spring rolls. Honey roast ribs - meat just falls off the bone. Mains i had house special with pepper sauce - so delish...see photos... Husband had curry chicken. All arrived as advised within delivery time quoted - excellant service. Could not fault service or food. K C Chippy is now on our list of favourtie Chinese takeaways - would recommend.
