Mei Zhen Noodle Bar in Liverpool

Comida muy limpia, muy amable y sumamente sabrosa. Mi pareja tiene una historia de amor con los fideos y afirma que la sopa de carne con chile, pollo y fideos que comió aquí fue sublime. Comí bolas de pollo y patatas fritas, que también estaban entre las bolas de pollo más crujientes que había comido. Mi única queja es que toda mi comida se vendió por separado. Así que pagué unos 17. 50 por una comida que normalmente costaría alrededor de 8. Aparte de eso, recomendaría este lugar.

Probamos Mei Zhen hace un tiempo en una visita a Liverpool y ahora se ha convertido en un favorito para la comida de calidad en una noche para llevar de regreso a nuestro hotel. Las cajas de fideos son fantásticas, de gran valor, sabrosas y porciones generosas. No podemos quejarnos del servicio amable y nunca hemos encontrado un problema. Si lees esta reseña, prueba Mei Zhen (calle Victoria 38) en el cruce con Sir T Hotel y el pub Victoria Cross, no te decepcionará.

He estado en bastantes pubs en y alrededor de esta parte de la ciudad y me detuve en Mei Zhen Noodle Bar y qué visita tan agradable.Sentado de inmediato, pedimos sopa de pollo con fideos, que era increíble y arroz frito con huevo, que era de primera categoría, el servicio era excelente, las comidas eran realmente buenas, una excelente relación calidad-precio, otra gran visita.Seguimos adelante después de nuestras deliciosas comidas y, como en todas las visitas, lo pasamos muy bien.Mei Zhen Noodle Bar es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Victoria Street.Vale la pena echarle un vistazo si estás en la zona.

Came in to get out of the rain. Quickly seated and served. They were the best noodles we’ve had since moving to england (6 years!)

Bought a takeaway and some starters...oh my.... I can honestly say it was the absolute worst Chinese takeaway I have EVER had, and I'm 51. Dodge.

Hadn't been here in over two years because the last time we got takeaway here it went into the bin after two mouthfuls. ... Unfortunately after a few shandies on the work night out,my partner decided to get a takeaway. .... Well,if anything it was even worse than the last time...Cremated Sui mai, disgusting rubber chicken,ribs that were older than me. Yes, filled the bin again, and a stern telling off for him indoors for wasting twenty quid on this horror . Even in his inebriated state he agreed it was disgusting..

Just had a wonderful 3 course lunch at Mei Zhen! I received a very warm welcome followed by Chicken & sweetcorn soup (with complimentary prawn crackers!), salt & pepper ribs, beef with satay sauce and steamed rice. All cooked fresh, very tasty and piping hot! Priced at £5.90 this has to be a bit of a bargain! Very impressed & will return soon! 5 stars from me!

Always good service, food is tasty & served fast. My friend & I share a meal regularly at lunchtime and it's plenty. Staff very friendly. Highly recommended! Thank you very much

We ordered the large House special Chow mein and Meizhen hot rice box online for dinner. Only 6.90 pound each and could serve 3-4 . Quality ok , and very good value for money.

Super tasty and you get a lot of food for the money! We got egg fried rice, vegetarian spring rolls, bean curd, noodles and seaweed. I love it, it’s my favourite Chinese place in town.

The food is amazing, the staff are lovely, and the portions are huge, really recommend this place, you won't be disappointed.

Mesa para 11 de nosotros, hambrientos después de bailar la tarde, cerca. Muy limpio y el servicio fue bueno. La comida era de buena calidad y sabrosa. Elegí el plato tailandés de piña, pollo y arroz, aunque muy sabroso, no vino como pensaba, pero fue mi error al pedirlo. Esperaba que el arroz estuviera separado y que el pollo y la piña estuvieran en una salsa, pero estaba todo en un tazón, un poco seco. Las albóndigas de gambas (8 en el plato en lugar de las habituales 3/4 en otros restaurantes) eran fabulosas pero optaron por la salsa de soja y no el aceite de chile como la camarera aconsejó muy caliente! Definitivamente regresaría.

No suelo dar críticas de 5 estrellas, pero este lugar fue absolutamente increíble! ¡Llevé a mis compañeros de trabajo a almorzar aquí y fue de primera clase! Sólo pedimos las comidas principales, pero se proporcionaron poppadoms y rodajas de fruta. La comida era muy buena también. Los precios eran muy baratos también!

Ho chiesto una "chicken noodle soup" piccola (all'assurda cifra di 4.10£) e ho pagato con carta di credito...dopo aver effettuato il pagamento contactless "casualmente" si sono accorti che non accettavano pagamenti mastercard. Per non fare questione ho, anche stupidamente, pagato nuovamente in contanti. Non mi sono stati restituiti soldi. Diffidate da mangiare in questo locale e cercate altro

Our first visit to Mei Zhen & we thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Combo Noodles & my partner had the Pineapple Chicken Rice, both these dishes were gorgeous, & very tasty. We can't recommend this place enough.

We called in for the second time and ordered a take away noodle box and a chicken chow mein.The food was as last time ,fabulous.Tastiest Chinese we've had and piping hot.Looking forward to calling again,next time we visit the city.

He estado en un pub y un bar dando vueltas por Liverpool todo el día y me apetecía algo sabroso y abundante, y conseguí una caja para llevar de arroz frito con huevo y papas fritas y la gran selección de restaurantes chinos que elegimos.

Ya hemos estado varias veces en el bar de fideos Mei Zhen desde el cercano restaurante chino que solíamos cerrar. Muy contento de haber encontrado este lugar. El personal es amable y atento, y la comida es increíble! Cada comida que hemos tenido aquí ha sido impecable. La mejor sopa caliente y amarga en Liverpool. La elección de comida vegetariana es excelente, con un montón de tofu y platos de verduras. Definitivamente recomiendo darle una oportunidad ++++

Firstly I’d just like to say that I noticed someone had left a bad review complaining the the pak Choi was just Chinese cabbage- pak Choi IS Chinese cabbage!

We’ve ordered from here numerous times and the food is always lovely. However tonight is the second time we’ve waited over 2 hours for our food to arrive. We live in the city centre literally few mins drive from the place. 2 hours for salt and pepper tofu and rice?! Not good. Won’t be using the place again.

What you can ask for more about the dishes in here. Duck in plum sauce, salt & pepper squid , Fried fish in black bean sauce all are amazing. This is one of the beat chinese restaurant in Liverpool

Esta noche queríamos algo diferente para nuestro té, así que pedimos desde aquí después de que nos encontramos donde estaba el otro día cuando estábamos visitando Liverpool. Ya habíamos visto el menú que estaba disponible en el Premier Inn moorfields así esta noche decidimos darle una oportunidad y Dios mío no puedo creer cómo encantadora, la comida estaba todos somos totalmente llenos y bien vale la pena cada céntimo gastado. Recomiendo una visita para cualquiera que quiere en Liverpool un chino. Mi hija que cada hecho curry poco me gustaría dado y ella está a sólo 8 y dijo que estaba exuberante y habría otra vez.

Un fantástico lugar para comida rápida caliente y sabrosa, excelente servicio, volveremos.

Pedimos un plato de arroz y un plato de fideos y algunas bebidas. El plato de fideos en una salsa servían diferentes sin avisar de esto. Este fue extremadamente decepcionante como la salsa era una salsa curry y no es lo que queríamos o nos gustó. Estaban contentos de cambiarlo pero no estado por qué habían cambiado la comida de lo que pedimos. Fue decepcionante, ya que comieron todos a veces por separado y nunca recibí lo que en realidad pedimos. Potencialmente buena, pero no es una gran experiencia.

We wanted a quick 'something to eat' before going to the theatre. It was quick cheap and very average food. The sloppy service was about what you would expect from a young girl who obviously didn't want to be there. A smile would have been nice. It served the purpose but I wouldn't go there again.

5 of us had different meals and shared what we had and all of us where impressed with the taste, price and quantity of what we had, staff where very helpful and helped us to take our excess food home with us, would unreservedly recommend this especially to visitors to the terracotta warrior exhibition at the world Museum, minutes away from the venue, as it was an excellent end to a great visit to Liverpool. The locals were very impressed stating always head to the venue when the menu has all the meals in Chinese as well as English. Well done to this establishment.

avoid. Overpriced disgusting and awful. They get away with it because they are in the city centre and when people are out they go there. Bought a takeaway tonight, not cheap and it's in the bin, do yourself a favour and avoid.

He pedido entrega unas 4 veces desde aquí ahora y siempre es genial. La comida es muy buena, y tienes unas raciones enormes y es muy razonable. El personal que entrega son siempre tan agradable y paciente, ya que me cuesta bajar de mi apartamento. Continuaré orden desde aquí y en algún momento tienen una comida servida aquí! Mis amigos y yo somos vegetarianos y siempre hay mucho para elegir.

Es muy raro que escriba una opinión mala pero el Mei Zhen es uno de esos cafés de fideos económico que sirve una montaña de fideos (barato), pero admito que son aceitosos y sin sabor.

Absolute joke of a place. We waited over 2hours for food, There delievery driver even called me to ask did I live in a house or a flat...then said I'm 5mins away but yet we still waited a good 45mins after that to then receive another phone call to say order was cancelled. Very poor service all round. Stay away

Literalmente comida 45 minutos hace ordenados llegó fría. Mi chips eran duras como el infierno. Estaba seco, con falta de aderezos. Estoy muy decepcionado de este como hice todos sus desperdicios de comida basura en este dinero. Esta comida chop debe ser cerrado hay mejores lugares en la ciudad. Quiero mi dinero de vuelta. Me dura para mi dinero cuando compro comida debería ser satisfactorio al menos! !

Food was very good standard of cooking e.g. Full of flavour, consistency and vibrant to the eye. £6.90 meal deal is worth getting. My only negative feedback is the S&P chips were missing the peppers.

The food was excellent! Full of flavour and a really decent quantity I was full to the brim! I now have a food baby lol! Delivery time was perfect they delivered my food 30 minutes earlier than expected! Would recommend to anyone to give a try! Keep up the good work!

not impressed still not been delivered after nearly two hours

I usually give this place 5 stars but was disappointed tonight. Food was delivered an hour after it was supposed to and it was lukewarm! I had to microwave the food to eat it....not good!

2 hours late, food was cold, and it cost me 20 quid.

Food twas meant 2 be 45-60 mins was actually a 95 min wait. Wasn't even a busy day. The food arrived and it wasn't very good quality. Hardly ate any of it. Waste of money and time

The starters and soup were absolutely delicious the hot and sour was as good as I've ever had. The rice box was a little dry only criticism I would order again.

Never again! The order was incomplete (no answer to get a refund for the missing items), sub standard food, and over an hour late, they extended by 20 mins then delivered a further 45 mins after that, over two hours. The driver saw it as a hassle to himself that he would have to bring back the missing items. Such a shame, I use this place for lunch, when I eat in it was good and I WAS a repeat customer.

The food got delivered in 10 minutes, which is pretty amazing. The Ribs were fantastic and the portions are quite big as well.

Why this place is good: - Food is tasty and full of flavour - Quick pick up time - family run restaurant - nice setting - great service - reasonably priced - large portions / good value for money I will be ordering from here again :) Also thank you for the free prawn crackers even though my order was only £13

Delivery was 1 hour 20mins late, 20 hours 20 mins after order, despite delivering to us every weekend. Tell you on the phone that the delivery man is on his way for the last hour and 20 mins and then the delivery man turns up and says he left the shop 5 minutes ago.

Very good as always! No chance for diet the portions are huge.

Worst service received from a takeaway ever!!! Over 2 hours for a 45 Minuit delivery. Rang several times and got told 5 minuits everytime, then no driver to be seen. By the time the food got here I was in an awful mood and my food was stone cold, tasteless and rubbery.

seriously dissatisfied with the rice and beef sauce. No chili in sauce just too much salt. Did someone mistake salt for chilli? I will give a negative rating bcos this was my meal for the day and it is ruined. Thank God i ordered spring rolls and ribs, i would have had nothing to eat except the small portions of patries. Absolutely awful never ordering from here again. Our delivery took 1 hour and 50 minutes to come, 1 hour 20 minutes being after we got the text from just eat saying our food had left the building meaning our food was in a car for over an hour. I rang the shop plenty of times to ask what was going on untill they blocked my number so I couldn't contact them. When it eventually did arrive they'd messed up our order and didn't even send us what we'd paid for.

Tofu in garlic and chilli sauce was lovely but hot and sour soup was quite plain I'm afraid. It only took about 15-20 minutes for delivery which was amazing!
