I always say to the lads you can’t get a baby chicken at maccies can ya! Lovely food and staff and clientele. Met a lovely chap called Barry sat on table opposite, said he was friends with Mike Dean that Ref. His food looked decent too for a Wool lol

How have I missed this gem for so long! Lived in the area for 3 years and never been. Came with family last week and the food was phenomenal. We got the mixed grill ship, fantastic flavour, cooked perfectly. Then we had the dal and lamb karahi, again, lovely. We also had roti and then mandi, again absolutely fantastic We will return All the staff were great and helpful too

Love the food here my cooker was not working and been coming here for a week The flavour and food is just another level it’s hot and made fresh Customer service is good here too very respectful staff who are very fast and caring , young fella could vinny dealt with our enquiries and did us proud 👏 definitely will be coming here alot

Food tastes like it was boiled and then grilled. used to be a great place, but since the KO franchise collapsed nationally this place has gone downhill. Never again .

Greetings, we broke our iftar here yesterday. They brought the food on time but the drinks were late. The employees were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious because we were very hungry. We loved it and recommend it. Prices are ok. Having halal meat is a good option. Go early as it gets crowded. There is also a reservation option. Bon appetit in advance.

This time the food wasn't great at all, not same at all from earlier management. The starters mix grill was just ok wasn't anything special, biryani was so bland and no flavours at all. Overall disappointed.

I orderd lamb biryani SPICY half baby chicken to take away,OMFG never again will I ever order from there again,The half chicken came in 4 pieces NOT A HALF they butchered it the biryani was THE WORST I EVER EATEN the rice was overcooked the lamb was tasteless an didn’t don’t get a curry sauce with it ABSOLUTELY VILE FOOD😤😤😤😤😤

Mixed grill and the masala fries where great, would definitely go again

One of the Best Place in Liverpool to have a proper Asian Food. The food Quality, presentation and the Taste 👅 mouth watering its so nice and fresh you can’t stop eating. The grills food was really well done and with proper Spices. I would recommend Baby chicken and Lamb chops. The Curries are so tasty 😋 you need to try every curry over here each one has its own Taste and spice. I love Karahi and Butter chicken. After having all this tasty food I expected the bill to be atleast minimum but you know what I personally Tried in so many asian food Restaurants this one got the cheapest prices in whole Liverpool. I Strongly recommend this restaurant to have a proper Asian food for such a Low prices in a Restaurant. Last but not the least the Service of every Waiter was so kind and attentive always ready for the service for the customers.

While their Mix Platter and Bombay Potato’s are flavorful, other items lack consistency such as Lahori Chicken Karahi and Biryani. Overall, an okay choice for those looking for Pakistani cuisine in Liverpool, but there's potential for enhancement in both food quality and service.

My family and I had the most beautiful meal at KO Grill. The food and service are simply outstanding. I highly recommend the Baby Chicken and Fish Tikka.

I love this restaurant. The food is gorgeous the staff are lovely and I feel so welcome when I come ! Wouldn't go anywhere else for the type of food they sell. Its well worth the drive from aintree! If I could give it more stars I would ! 10/10 thankyou xx

Had a mix grilled and it was not fully cooked, asked the guy and said it’s chewy and roar. he said we don’t do well done I was thinking it’s not steak plus you didn’t ask other than spice Cook complained she didn’t ask for well done Would not go again did not enjoy disappointment should have gone Elif

Mix grill lacked taste. Wings and lamb chop were nice, sheesh kebab tasted like the frozen Shazan ones. Chicken and lamb tikka had little taste/seasoning. Lamb karahi was not freshly cooked, simply tomato paste and microwave job. Service was really good, we were welcomed nicely and frequently checked upon. Vibe is nice and mellow. Food just not it unfortunately.

This has been my 2nd visit over the last couple of weeks, on the 1st occasion I had to wait 20 minutes just to order my food. On this occasion, our food took 20 minutes to come, and we had to wait 5 minutes in between to get a fresh naan bread, which in a clay oven should be a minute tops. Food was nice but would’ve been a lot better if we could’ve had everything warm. Although the waitresses were nice, it was hard to get their attention and they also forgot to bring us a naan.

Ven was amazing she looked after us made sure that we had everything we needed, such a lovely girl, would recommend to come here all the time, again ven thanks for looking after us

Amazing service. We where a large group for a Birthday party and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, freshly prepared and all came out together. Nothing was missing or wrong. Excellent service. Thanks to all the hardworking staff we will be back.

We regularly dine in KO since the beginning of its opening back in 2010 I think. We love the food and it’s consistent every time we go. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who like spicy foods.

When we think about eating out, one of our go to restaurants is KO. Just because the food most of the time we go for seems healthy and it tastes really good (spec. during lunch time 13.00 - 15.00). We feel its very fresh and tastier. I would recommend KO. Reasonable price and good service.

I ordered lamb Mandi and the dish has nothing to do with Mandi. The lamb was extremely chewy to an extent that I couldn’t even cut it with a knife. The rice was super dry and the broth have barely any salt in it. The Fatoush salad was really bad, they literally dashed a bunch of hugely cut lettuce and huge chunks of tomatoes, topped with very big bites of fried bread and called it Fatoush. Absolutely do not recommend. The branch in Bold street is much better compared to this one.

The restaurant was pretty decent and quite. However the food is some of the worst food I have ever had. Ordered grill and the meat was either raw or too cooked. It felts like wet paper. There was no moist or juiciness to the tikkas or kebabs. Service was alright but even though it was not too busy there was very little coordination among the staff. Had to ask for the sauce for something which should already come with it.

I went to this place in early October and it was probably the last time for me. I will start from the service which was decent , nice chairs and nice tables , the waiter/waitresses were friendly as well. Here end the positive feedback, because once we placed the order the food I have been served with a partially seasoned and partially cooked T-Bone steak. I asked for a medium rare but it was over cooked. My wife took the half mix grill , she was unhappy as well ,as she felt that al cardboard would have been tasted better. To change we ordered some seek kebab, but again , those were very gummy , and tasted awful. At that moment we decided to pay and leave. The food wasn't overpriced, but the quality did not match the price.

This takeaway is not for Pakis it’s not salaan it’s gora salaan plus I seen two mice running around playing hide and seek

Me and my partner went here first ones in sat down waiting for service a guy and his child came in and got served first then us This is not a place to go went there the baby chicken dry as anything. We got a portion of chips asked for viniger and tomato sauce the lids were descusting very dirty and not cleaned The tables need a table cloth over it so u can't see how bad the tables r There should be more than one toilet as well male and female using the same toilet it's not right . I was going to take my mate here to ave something to eat but not going to now. I don't recommend to anyone to come here U really need to sort this out

Only bought a kebab sandwich to take out was small but tasty.

The food wasn't as great as the reviews. Steak had no flavour what so ever so we had to add salt excessively. Moreover, it was extremely hard to chew and cut. The mix grill wasnt anything special aswell, just glad it had some flavour. The environment was very humid and there needs to be more than 1 bathroom, purely disgusting to see the state of the only bathroom they have. Overall, disappointed.

Very close to authentic Pakistani taste. Some dishes tweaked for English pallette. Love their spicy baby chicken, seekh kebabs, chicken/lamb karahis and their nans are fantastic.

Lovely waitress dark skin light eyes,we picked 2 mix grill massalla fries ,waited about 30 mins considering it was quiet when we went in n only 2 ppl eating,food came out was lovely we was sat at the back,2 kids then running riot playing tag while their parents ignored it knocking into our tables running round in circles making me feel dizzy ,Enough I told them in the end ,it’s open plan the cooks were watching and 3 waitress ignored it ,they then carried on at the front were the chefs were ,then card machines went down had to sit on my own while my son had to find a bank ,nice food but disappointing atmosphere ,No interaction and I shouldn’t be telling children off whilst out for a meal

I ordered chicken birayani and masala chips. Chicken birayani was dry and taste like normal rice mix with boiled chicken. Masala chips cooked with old oil and its only mix with sauce no paper no spring onions.chips smelling very bad. I went KO more than 10 years but I never had this type of food before. I am very upset 😡 I paid 18 pounds with uber discount and its make me my food value is zero. I ordered food around about 8.45 and I got delivered 8.32

I ordered the online food from this outlet. I had Lamb biryani and seekh kabab. Seekh kabab was good, but the lamb biryani was one of the best I ever have. It was good, and worth having it again and again. Perfect spice, ingredients, and the awesomeness. Not to mention the food portion, one biryani was more than enough for a person. I shared it with a friend.

Poppadoms - Dripping in oil when served Mix Grill - Some of it was definatley pre cooked then reheated on the grill. Flavours were okay but were ruined with the awful chilli sauce they pour over the top. Baby Chicken - As dry as the bone. No flavour at all. I would avoid Fish Tikka - Very hard batter not much flavour Chicken Jalfrezi - Bob standard nothing special Service - The lady serving us was very good all the way through. Thankyou

Food was good, fresh and tasty We ordered grill mix and Karahi Grill mix was good but karahi was ok as I didn't like the gravy at all. It was not an authentic karahi. However, grill was spot on. Paratha, nans were 👍😊 Could improve the interior including sitting arrangements.

Came here to try this place and ordered the mix grill meats with basmati rice and the naam bread, let's start by saying that a young lady took care of us, the meats grill we payed around 20£ for that plate and its decent amount of meat for 2 people, it was very tasty, although the shish kebab was dry but still tasty. The rice was the disappointment of the meal since it NO spices nor salt, was the most bland basmatti rice I ever try, the naam was delicious though, I noticed a lot of people ordering the curry plates, maybe I would come back to try those plates since it seems it's the popular there, once again it was okay

Great tasting grilled meats and curries. Perhaps go for their Butterchicken curry or Lamb Karahi. Excellent food here. Can get a bit smokey though, as their cooking is done openly in front of customers.

Good was well cooked and hot. Service was modest. When busy you do have to wait a little longer (but to be expected). Is on a bus route 26/27 circular. And is on 76. Is walking distance of smithdown road and upper parliament Street.

Use to come here quite often but have moved away. I was in the area and popped in for lunch, food is just as good if not better. Consistency is key and its still there

Food quality is substandard. You do not expect drinks served in Plastic glasses when go to a dine in restaurant. I had to leave my seat and ask at counter for extra bread because apparently our waiter disappeared. The lighting inside the restaurant was so low and blueish Overall, only positive was their customer services is good.

Really disappointed. Chicken burger came in a cold bun no sauces no cheese, I had to add the salad myself. The grill was also pretty dry and tasteless, the chips had no seasoning.

Update Gave it another go last week..gone right down hill..chicken curry awful I liked my food but my guest didnt and they dealt with the complaint terribly . I paid for all of mine cause i Enjoyed it and had eaten it. My friend had hardly touched his and had complained at the outset and was fobbed off with some chilli. Sauce for what was supposed to be lamb tikka but was not marinated at all. I told the waiter we were not paying for that food which had not been eaten or Enjoyed and asked too speak too the manager. The waiter returned saying manager was not available but could we pay 5 pounds towards the uneaten meal. We obviously refused and left. Such poor customer service and lack of training. Cant see me going back. Will be sakoon next time whose food is probably even better.. I hope they learn and improve from this. Like i say the food is usually very nice..

Rude staff ...I understood there was only 1 hour left till closing - and know people want to go home after a long day. But they kept rushing and keep checking up to remind you that they are closing- still 20 minutes left btw. We were done way before that. And the food didn't even make up for their rude staff

Terrible food I ordered rare medium steak and it was well done and chewy Biryani was spicy as hell I ordered mix grill cost me £19 and there was no taste in tikka or lamb kebab and lamb chops they were just plain pathetic food and service was awful they served me food first and they brought drinks after half an hour and environment was to much off putting Noise of canopy fan was so high felt like you’re sitting in a fully functional factory I will not recommend this place to anyone it’s not worth it I spent £62 on pathetic food and awful service not again thank you

Both Biriyani (chicken & lamb) and Kebabs were flat in taste. Not recommended for people who like spicy with masala flavor. The waiters were also not smart! We were kind of disappointed!

Went to order a biriyani seeing prices from Google. But it was much expensive than the prices shown in Google. It was kinda tasty though.

Omfg. This has to be the best kebab I have ever had. The flavors in the marinated mix grill are truly exceptional. Cooked to perfection all meats very moist. Well done boys. I will be recommending you to my mates. 👌

Kebabish is a staple for middle-eastern-asian cuisines. Don’t judge the subtle exterior for being mediocre; the fragrances smells and tastes from the grills to the curry dishes are impeccable. I’d highly rate for anyone to go there: with friends, family or as a casual dining experience. They also offer deliveries via JustEat, UberEats or Deliveroo for those nights you just want to relax at home.

Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Very good range and choice on the menu. Good atmosphere and bustling considering that this was early evening on a Tuesday. "Homemade" lemonade was excellent. Generous portions of food of excellent quality.
