Wagamama in Liverpool

Went two days in a row for lunch. First day service and food were brilliant. Next day the opposite.

Used to love it diagnosed with coeliac and there are very limited options. Won't be visiting again I don't thinj

Been here lots of times and always found it good. Yesterday the service was awful. Food was good, service was awful. Staff who avoided eye contact when tried to order and then pay the bill.

Vegan diners. Very accommodating. There was a mixup with our order. The team could not have been more apologetic and made amends with complimentary drinks. Mistakes are made but how they are resolved is everything. Food was fantastic. Even have a gluten free menu.

We are regulars at Wagamama's, as a family of 5 with three small children the staff always do everything they can to accommodate us and the food is always fantastic. Today in particular David, our server was fantastic.

We went a few months ago and the ramen was incredible. Went again today and it was mediocre. Kinda disappointed, won't be rushing back.

Mis vales no pasaban, así que el gerente descargó mis vales en su teléfono y pagó con su tarjeta de débito personal. Dijo que su pareja los usará para Navidad. Los dos clientes que estaban conmigo desde Londres no podían creer lo que estaban viendo y me dijeron que nunca habían visto un servicio como ese. Así que me gustaría dar las gracias a todo el personal porque nos divertimos mucho al respecto. Por cierto la comida era excelente.

Acabo de salir de wagamamas... esperé 20 minutos a que alguien viniera a pedir nuestra orden... Tenía una aplicación hosp y solo tenía una hora... no estaba tan ocupado... la gente entró después de nosotros que se sentó cerca del restaurante que estaban recibiendo servicio... un camarero vino con una orden y parecía confundido... dijo que no era nuestro, ya que todavía estábamos esperando para pedir algo... decidimos irnos, ya que ni siquiera recibí una bebida y el servicio fue terrible

We go here for take out quite often, however this time round the cauliflower wings were atrocious. Absolutely miniscule in size, and we're both heavily burnt and soggy. Very poor and hoping it was a once off!

Always a good spot for a quick lunch. Service always attentive and prompt. The bao buns is a must same as the bowls and the katsu dishes.

Even when it's really busy and there's a queue out the door, they're great at getting you in and ordering food efficiently! Staff are always friendly and accomodating. A really great Wagamama!

Had the same dishes from other wagamamas all cooked similar. Food was different at this one wasn't happy with it.

Went for lunch but food was a big let down, chilli squid undercooked, duck noodle dish was grey with no sauce and squid balls were again quite undercooked, usually a favourite waggas of mine but big let down today

This was our first time at Wagamamas, Speke and we were there to celebrate a birthday in the Family. Our Grandchildren had been looking forward to the visit for a couple of days; mini soba noodles were mentioned at least 5 times a day 😂. Firstly, there was plenty of parking available outside the restaurant. The waiting staff were attentive and helpful without being intrusive. We had enough time to make our selections and the food and drinks arrived soon afterwards. We had a good table where we could sit in comfort. We didn't feel crowded. It felt quite cosy and like we were not intruding on other diners or they, on us. We all ordered different meals and everyone very much enjoyed their delicious choices. I had a cherry blossom lemonade to drink on the recommendation of my Grandson. An excellent choice. As was the repeat supply of free green tea. As we left I saw one of the staff in the kitchen really scrubbing down the griddle surface and giving the food prep area a thoroughly good clean. Nice to see, well done and thank you for cooking us a delectable dinner.

Great wagamama chain with the best ever vegan selection. Friendly staff and quick service.

Our server Chloe was amazingly attentive, never stopped and constantly checked and made sure we had everything we needed. In saying this, it was clear that the other team members, including shift leaders, appeared to single her out, pick on her and not involve her in the team. On top of this, two members of the team, one of which was a shift lead, were witnessed kissing in front of customers. Whether or not you are in a relationship, this is completely inappropriate in front of paying members of the. The five stars given reflect Chloe’s attitude and service ONLY. She is a fantastic assets to the team, the hardest worker there and I hope she is eventually recognised for her service and hard work. If not, I hope she has the courage to hand her resignation in as she is better than the team she works with give her credit for.

First up - A round of applause for all the staff here. Came on my own for a quick bite to eat - the queue was out the door with couples and families - they dealt with it fantastically - on first come first serve basis - didn’t have to wait long for a table. Operating on a first come first serve basis I felt a bit bad getting 4 person table but they made feel assured not to worry and to enjoy. Food came so quickly (which was good as I was pushed for time) and the food was delicious - the atmosphere was laid back and chilled. Special mention to Kasper - very good and assertive with taking the choice out of my hands and recommending me some relatively healthy options quickly from the menu ( the new beef salad and steamed gyozas - see pic. Kasper checked in to make sure food and service was good. Big thumbs up to Kasper and everyone at Wagamama Speke. Sometimes forgot to take pictures but this was purely taken to show my daughter what she was missing out on 😂 since Wagamamas is her favourite place - Holly if your reading this - I’ll come here anytime all you have to do is ask xx

I went there on my daughters birthday and I felt a bit weak but when I had that noodle soup I felt awake and strong. So it is basically a colossal treat and a yummy and well healing medicine!!

Came tonight after finishing work as doing some training in a business on the park… we had a fantastic experience, greeted by a guy as soon as we arrived. asked how we were and if we had a good day.. 🙂 given Menus and promptly shown to our table, the server was knowledgeable and friendly. Although busy our food was quick, hot, fresh and tasty!! the mocktails were delicious. Check was given nice and quickly and wished a good evening.. brilliant. Would highly recommend. Thank you 🙂

We ordered a Yaki Soba Teppanyaki with chicken and prawns and Butterflied prawns as part of “Ebi katsu”. Both dishes were delicious! Our service was by Jamie, who was fantastic. Highly recommended by us.

We come a lot at least once a week, but the young guy who served us this time round was brilliant, he actually served us a couple weeks back as well, very friendly, welcoming, as though he enjoys his job. The food is mostly perfect anyway in the many times I’ve eaten here I’ve had 2 or 3 issues. The squid starter is top tier.

Always a pleasure to visit after a gruelling shopping run on the retail park.

Me and my boyfriend stopped here for a quick bite, food was fast and to perfection as always. The waiter who served us was amazing! (Think the name was Maya) Nothing better than friendly service with a smile.

We dines at this restaurant twice and will definitely visit again. It is a lovely, clean restaurant with nice crew. Food and drinks are fantastic, very tasty, fresh, well presented, and waiting time is always decent. Kids meals look and taste great. Our children were very happy with their meals on all occassions and emptied their plates ! Staff knows well what is on the menu, incl. allergens.

Was planning my first Wagamama experience ever, and after looking at the menu outside the establishment, was sure that the brisket had my name written all over it. Trying to get into the venue was a bit weird, there were two ladies with a push chair in the entrance and not really anywhere obvious dor anyone else to go once inside. After loitering in the pre entrance area for a while, trying to figure out what the setup was, I decided that the ladies must be waiting for takeaways already ordered. Decided to enter the inner space and approached a reception’esque area in the establishment, where a number of people, who looked like they may be working in the establishment was hanging around. After enquiring about said area about the possibility of a table for one for a singleton, someone, who probably was the maître d' suddenly appeared out of thin air and somewhat condescendingly shoed me back to the supposed “waiting area” and that is when realised the poor ladies at the front must have been waiting so long to be served already that they semi camped out and just looked like they where ordering take aways (dor which they waited al long time). May try another Wagamama in future, just not this one.

My daughter and I love to visit the speak wagamama few times a month and we very happy with food and service.

Visited here and as soon I walked in I was greeted by a friendly young lady who seated myself straight away, and instantly asked me if I knew what I wanted to drink what was great, a gentleman came over less than 5 minutes later with my drink and asked me if I was ready to order which I was was, the food came over piping hot and they also gave me some chicken skewers for free which where lovely, all in all food fast and tasty, price was very reasonable and staff were very helpful.

Absolutely delicious food and fantastic friendly staff.

Four of us dined here, we all enjoyed our starters, mains and three of us had deserts. Service was great, friendly, asked if any of us had allergies. Brought us fresh water for the table we were at. Not loud in there, no loud music playing so you could chat to each other, and sit and enjoy your delicious food.

Everytime we have been we have been accommodated with seating for our little one. Staff always entertain her and her curiosity and are pleasant from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave.

I had the hotpot yesterday and it was so delicious! I wish they'd add it to the delivery menu.

It's my fav place of all times! Love their starters. Love their chilli squid. And don't forget to try bang bang cauliflower. If you're brave, try firecracker from mains. I usually go for ramen soup with dumplings.

Absolutely stunning food and service

We visited Wagamama Speke on 26th October for the 1st time. WOW what an amazing place. From the second we walked in the, service was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Chris was brilliant dealing with a food allergy. Went above and beyond we felt. Food was amazing. Quick service, but was flavourful and piping hot! Definitely big up to the new K-dogs!! Will be back!!

Food was really nice, one complaint they do not do milk in coffee found that strange.

We went here as my daughter on a diet and the calories are listed. Have been to this one and a few other Wagamama in the past. Nice sunny day so wanted to sit outside. Entered the restaurant and asked for a table for two, to which the male just pointed to the table inside near the door and said there and looked away. No hello or a smile. I said we would like to sit outside and I think one of the other staff led us to a table. To be honest, after that rudeness (if I wasn't with my daughter, as she would have been embarassed) I would have just left. Think this was maybe the manager too. I think the staff need customer service training. The lad calling me love when I paid the bill too. Not professional. The food, nice enough, overpriced chain food. I could have had lovely food for a tenner less down Bold Street! I just hate bad service from anywhere when I'm paying my hard earned cash and certainly don't expect it when I'm a customer.

Outstanding service and stellar food. Had dinner with some workmates and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The manager was super accommodating with a request I made. Stacy was an amazing server. Literally every staff member thanked us when we left, I just felt so welcomed. I'll be dreaming about the pork belly bao buns tonight!

Food was nice. Service member got an order wrong which wasn't an issue..... but it's the attitude that comes with every interaction in this part of the world. It's not characterful..... it's rude.

We went here a month ago! Nothing special just a normal Wagamama’s food.. Not bad, but I can’t really say good!

I like to visit Wagamama's occasional for a nice meal meal out. There is parking and disabled parking available outside the restaurant. I have had many mixed experience with the speke store. Sometimes the staff are really friendly and willing to help, but other times they can be really slow and seem uninterested to help. I think it just depends on the day and time. The restaurant is quite large and holds a lot of people. More often then not you are seated on a bench like area with no back support so make sure to ask for a booth when booking if this is something you require. Everything is displayed nicely on the menu and easy to see what a few pictures of selected items. The Ramen is presented lovely and tastes amazing. The Katsu chicken was presented lovely but the chicken was very thin and totally burnt. I honestly felt that they tried to cover the mistake with curry sauce. To pay for the meal they prefer a contactless method were you pay on your phone, this is very simple to do. But if you would rather pay by card they will bring a card machine over for you. I will continue to visit occasional for a nice meal out.

Attended with a 9 year old who had the ramen chicken, whilst the adults just had gyozas. Both food and service were excellent.

First visit for me and was very impressed. The staff were very helpful taking me through the less spicy dishes. Service was quick, and attentive, and the food hot and delicious.

My favourite chain restaurant to go to. Fantastic food and as someone with a nut allergy they could not be more attentive. My only complaint would be that you cant book so have to drive there and take your chance getting in or waiting for up to nearly an hour at busy times

Visited the restaurant quite late at 20:30 and honestly I was a bit worried as to whether we would be a burden and the guys would wanna close down. It was entirely the opposite! We were made to feel so welcome from the get go, a table was sorted for us right away. Our waitress Veronica came to us within minutes and was so very helpful. I asked a million questions and nothing was too much for her. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. The food itself was to die for. We tried 3 different starters and two mains and all was cooked to perfection. Can't wait to be back!

I just wish the chefs would taste their food more often. Adamame beans covered with salt, Gyoza pastry extremely dry, yaki soba with over sized chunks of peppers and bland. What a disappointment the meal was. Service on the other hand was fast, efficient and friendly.

Better than yo sushi Do not order the egg from the extra menu Yaki udon is seasoned but not enough flavour, the udon itself is cheap quality, and it is more like mixing together with heat than pan fried with fire Both side dishes I ordered are edible but one of the chilli for decoration has the green head part involved Tea is drinkable Note: tama squid is not tamayaki

So im giving it one star because I orded the food and it was absolutely trash because it was half raw also we got takeaway bags and we put 2 of our food and the whole thing ripped and our food was waster and it cost around 95 pounds. But the staff were very good.

This is the worst Wagamamas I have ever been to, they honestly need to replace the chefs here as they are not good. I ordered the same dish from the Liverpool city centre one and it was unreal, order the same thing at this one and it was inedible and what I did eat gave me a poorly tummy. It’s the second time I’ve tried this one and both times it was awful. Don’t waste your time going to this one, go to the Liverpool city centre one in Liverpool one! Much nicer!

Ayesha, our waitress, was lovely and brought a small juice drink over for our daughter who was trying to drink mine. Really good service and quality food. Will definitely be going again

This one girl ruined experience especially since it was my first time here. She gave me attitude for simply pointing out that I haven’t received any cutlery for my takeaway order. Like amend the problem another waiter made not show me attitude for me asking you to do your job. On top of this, the VAT is much higher than what I pay for in Birmingham. When receiving my meal, the Shu’s Shiok Chicken and tropical large juice was significantly less what I usually get. I was paying for this order through Wagamama’s gift card for the same mess up at a different location. I’m put off from going to wagamama completely!

Despite current restrictions we were seated quickly. Service was quick and efficient and online payment a great way to reduce contact. We both had the duck donburi which was beautiful.

Had a lovely meal here this evening. It is quiet after lockdown unlike the madness of last summer so well worth a visit. As before when I have visited the staff have been very friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Sophia for taking care of me.

Had take away from here both me and my daughter were very sick after eating their food , other family members ate different takeaway and they were fine however when I told this company about this they took ages to reply and when they did they told me it couldn’t possibly be their fault as they are beyond reproachThink twice about going here much safer places Only good thing I would say is the restaurant waiting on staff are very pleasant Customer service and obviously the food really awful AVOID AT AL COSTS

Outstanding click and collect service tonight from your Speke store. Even the egg was perfect on the Don Buri. I could see the food going in to my bag from my car window, showing it was really fresh. We will be back, no fear. Those tama squid balls are soooooooooo goooooood.

Got a takeaway from here whilst doing veganuary with my partner January 2020. We had a gift card so my partner ordered over the phone the guy was friendly and we both ordered the vegan Katsu curry which uses seitan as the meat substitute and had a couple of sides. I love katsu curry and must say this was a good vegan dish it was delicious. Would recommend.
