The best restaurants in Copeland North West

A hidden gem in the little town of Millom in Cumbria. Excellent food, with engaging and responsive staff. A must visit Italian restaurant.

A lovely tea room to walk to for lunch time. Warm welcome, nice menu choice & food was lovely, no scrimping on the fillings. Dog friendly with a treat for our two girls. Gifs shop to look around with reasonable prices. Thank you very much.

Sat outside with my daughter on a glorious day and had delicious food served by excellent waitress- pity you’re so far away

Great pub! The jukebox is good fun, and the land lady is fab

Fantastic food which is well presented and plentiful. Husband and Son has the Mixed Grill which was huge but they both said it was tasty. The staff are attentive and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend eating here.

We came across this lovely snack shack while having a leisurely drive and really craving a coffee. Great coffee and delicious cakes served by welcoming and friendly ladies. The cute cupboard of goodies was a brilliant addition and I bought some fresh eggs. A great find, highly recommend. Such a lovely setting too.

An excellent menu with a good variety of choices. Very unintrusive but appropriate service with friendly advice when requested. My choice of toasted Goat's cheese and salad was very tasty with a lovely dressing. The hot drinks choice was also very good. the prices were very reasonable too.

Does the boss ever smile? Food was okay but the boss rushing around with a face like thunder. Doesn't matter how busy you are but doesn't take much to smile

Best pies in the country Called in on a motorcycle trip to top up ourselves for lunch and had the steak and ale pie was delicious

We didn’t stay in the hotel but had a lovely birthday celebration dinner in the restaurant. I’d recommend it for a nice meal out when visiting Whitehaven. The staff were all lovely and the food was really delicious.

Our waitress Daisy was outstanding! Castle Knights is charming, the staff members are welcoming, and the food is DELICIOUS! We had lamb chops, pan- fried sea bass, and apple crumble with custard for dessert. We were delighted to have such a lovely meal, enjoy the lovely atmosphere in a beautiful neighborhood, and celebrate Mia's 🐶 birthday! THANK YOU for a stellar experience!

Love this place, always a good time. The atmosphere is great, and it's always clean and well-maintained. Never had a bad experience here, no matter the occasion. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good time. Five stars all around!

Traditional station pub serving a wide variety of beer to suit all tastes with a friendly land lady made for an entertaining evening.

1st Visit since reopening and it didn’t disappoint. The food was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a little quiet but the staff were still attentive . Definitely recommend a visit lunch menu was reasonable priced .
