Ristorante Da Vinci in Copeland

Me and my partner have been coming here for around 17 years whenever we are having a quiet break in Haverigg, which is just down the road from Millom. I can honestly say this is the nicest Italian restaurant I’ve ever eaten in, and it’s so reasonably priced it’s unreal. The service is always top notch and we always look forward to coming here. Would highly recommend.

This is a delightful Italian spot. Stopped in for dinner and all the food was great. Service was friendly and attentive. Only issue was one dish, the lasagna seemed like it was microwaved.

Lovely and welcoming surroundings, a lovely attentive host and lovely waitress. The food was absolutely amazing, everything was cooked to perfection and the taste amazing. My husband had the Pollo Romana, whilst myself and grandson had the Risotto con Spigola, finished off with the most amazing Tiramisu. The very best meal out that we have had in a long time.

Visited here on a weekend break away to Haverigg with my son, mum and dad. Food was excellent! Cooked fresh to order, the waitress that served us was very friendly and professional. Even boxed up what my son couldn’t fit in for us to take away! We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the wine! If ever we visit this part of Cumbria again we would definitely pay this restaurant a visit! :)

Very nice food. I especially loved the goat cheese and fig starter. It was mid week after two bank holidays and I was the only diner but I was made to feel very welcome by the lovely staff.

The best place to eat out in Millom, the staff are amazing and the food is delicious! The fiesta menu includes a starter, main and desert and is worth the price! Highly recommend!

We were a party of 28 and so pre-ordered our menu choices. All was served efficiently, piping hot and with a smile! Food was delicious, as was the wine, and we were so very well looked after. I must make a special mention of the very helpful Da Vinci team, in helping us to arrange this surprise birthday get together. Nothing was too much trouble. A final but very special touch was when the owner personally transported my brother, who has mobility issues, back home as there was no taxi service available. That is 5 star service and was above and beyond expectations. Thank you.

We visited as we were staying locally on holiday. We don't usually bother with Italian restaurants because we find Italian a bit samey but as eateries were limited nearby, we gave it a go. It was hit and miss. We both had the prawn cocktail, I found the sauce too vinegary, but hubby loved the tangy sauce. I had carbonara, it was really good. Hubby had the lasagne, huge portion but he said it was quite boring. It may be how it's made traditionally and to a simple recipe perhaps, but it was just a tomato-ey taste, and that was all. I tasted it too, and thought the same. So he was very disappointed. Not much bechamel sauce on it or cheese. He declined black Pepper or parmesan but it might have made it a bit more interesting maybe. Really good tiramisu, light and creamy. Hubby had lemon cheesecake which was good.

7 of us visited on Saturday night. We all chose different items from the menu, but we all agreed that the food was exceptionally good (I had the mussel starter which was amazing!) and the staff were pleasant and professional. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

As a large party (16 adults and and 8 kids) we were extremely well catered for. All meals out together, effiencent service from the staff both serving and clearing tables. Food was delicious and filling. The Fiesta menu is excellent value for money, 3 courses and coffee £22.95,I reluctantly gave my pudding to the kids as I just could not fit it in. Totally out of this world 🌎 If you are fortunate enough to be able to go book a table you won't be disappointed. The food is out of this world and so full of taste and flavours. Evening meal on Saturday. Superb service and food. Restaurant packed. Goats cheese starter with the most amazing berry dressing followed by pasta with salmon and prawns. Delicious, generous portions without being over the top so I still found room for ice cream. Top quality food, better than I've eaten anywhere for a long time.

Yummmm! If you have a trip to Millom try here, I would definitely book though it's very busy. They have an offer on any starter, any pizza or pasta and any desert for £20.95 (I think). No photos sorry.

Nice ambiance, pleasant staff. Great food. Just felt that courses where too quick. Literally 5 minutes between starter and main. Did ask too wait 15- 20 before dessert was served. Which we where asked twice within 10 minutes if we would like it now. Apart from that great resturant

¡Creo que este fue uno de los mejores platos italianos que he comido! ! Y tan buena relación calidad-precio. Mi pasta estaba cocinada a la perfección y la salsa estaba muy rica. El risotto de mariscos de mi compañero era impresionante. Había un filete de lubina entero encima. Servicio rápido y eficaz.

Fantastic food and great people and staff

Estábamos de visita durante el fin de semana y, basándonos en sus comentarios, decidimos reservar su restaurante para comer. Comida muy decepcionante, las bases de pizza que teníamos como entrante y algunas de nuestro plato principal eran claramente compradas en la tienda y no caseras. El plato de pescado estaba demasiado cocido y caro y, en general, la comida era insípida y le faltaba un auténtico sabor italiano. No lo recomendaría.

Had a brilliant meal with my family, the service was fantastic, the food fresh and delicious, and we felt very safe as staff wore masks, encouraged social distancing and took test and trace details. Highly recommend a meal in this cosy and welcoming Italian restaurant.

He visitado dos veces durante su estancia en Port Haverigg, no me puedo quejar de este restaurante. Desde que entra hasta que sale, se siente muy bienvenido, el personal es amable y eficiente. El restaurante está impecable y tiene un ambiente agradable y agradable.La comida es deliciosa, gran selección incluso para los comensales más exigentes, recién hecha y porciones muy abundantes. El menú de la fiesta es genial, entrante, plato principal y postre por 20 muy bueno y vale cada centavo. He comido tanto el risotto como la pasta, ambos platos deliciosos. No puedo esperar a volver la próxima vez que visite, es la parte superior de nuestra lista.
