Food is consistent and always good. Ordered many times and never had a problem. Staff is nice and friendly and the food is exactly the same. Best takeout on cleator moor by far❤️

Filthy dirty place also this business has been seen cleaning chicken in an open yard on the bare floor how nobody has been poisend yet I do not know

In the last 2 weeks whilst on holiday I’ve visited the cafe several times for lunch. It was beautifully clean and the tables were cleared and cleaned as soon as the diners left. After ordering, the drinks arrived quickly, and the food a few minutes later. One of the days it was extremely busy and we maybe waited 10 minutes for the food to arrive but it was worth the wait, the pies and quiches are made in the kitchen and they are to die for, congratulations to the chef. The staff are extremely pleasant. Will be visiting again when I’m back in Cumbria.

Shocking service and awful food. No food hygiene rating on display either. Rude staff when we had food missing from our order. Didn’t even get an apology despite having to drive 20minutes to go back for it.

Ate in the bar area on my way to Eskdale, as I had read about here in the AA Restaurant Guide. I certainly wasn't disappointed and found the service to be very friendly and the prices extremely reasonable (under £17 for a starter and a main). The starter was an extremely tasty chicken gyoza dumplings with a pea shoot salad and a sweet chilli sauce. My main consisted of a huge slab of chicken and leek pie with seasonal vegetables, thick cut chips and pan gravy. I couldn't eat any more after this as the pie was so huge, but ever so tasty. It was packed full of tasty filling and encased in a lot of pastry. It wasn't fancy, but was very rustic. If you love pie then definitely venture to here. I would certainly recommend this venue to others in the area....😁😁

Is this place even open anymore? Seriously take the website down if it isn't. Was hoping to get something nice for breakfast.

Great takeaway, food always spot on and lovely staff. Always get the special curry and it's fantastic, always ready when you want it.

All of the Pies, breakfast buns and cakes are always perfect and great value. It is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Called in whilst on a rare visit to Whitehaven, the food was fresh and tasty and the staff helpful and polite. Good coffee

Been going for yonks now never a bad one, portions are humongous and tasty, she's fantastic with a lovely smile as she tells you the cost of your takeaway ;)

We came to pickup our takeaway - the restaurant stunk of sewage, the host was very rude to us with aggressive hand gestures, on the phone he said he was too busy with customers to give a price restaurant was empty. When we arrived back with the food they had left out a main course we rung up to complain he was very rude again and said he would give a free one next time - we live 2 hours away and did not give us a refund for the original main! The food we did end up with was very oily and the chicken was though. Work on your customer service!

Ordered from here tonight for 8 people. Food was nice and hot but the spice rating on their menu is way off I had South Indian Chilli Garlic marked as very hot indicated by 4 Chillis. It certainly wasn’t that hot. I even asked for extra fresh Chillis. Food was tasty but wary of the spice rating. A little disappointed on that front. In general just an average takeaway.

The meals were terrible, the pork in the fried rice and chow mien was spam.The noodles all in bits and full of grease. The chips also awful, dried out,possibly rewarmed. Went in the bin

On entering the premises we were met by a female member of staff who seemed quite put out we had arrived. Have you booked a table she said. No we would just like a drink. Oh well you will have to sit at the bar not a table. We were served by very miserable staff who looked like they would rather be somewhere else.

The hot wings I just like drinking water that is no heat they are not hot they Abominable if you like spice these are not for you there's no spice they are not hot they are absolutely crap they are waste of money
