Chicken Hut in Copeland

Went on Friday 9th August and quite simply the food was pure horrible Ordered chicken strips which were like rubber and potato slices/wedges which were hideous Awful food for £9.50

Ordered delivery past 10pm, food arrived quickly and very warm. delivery driver was lovely and fast. chicken bites are very tasty and arrived lovely and warm. wedges were seasoned perfectly, and were really really delicious. couldn’t have asked for a better takeaway!

An unfortunate first time experience.. cold food after being delivered 1hr post estimated delivery time. Chicken was dry but tolerable, however, the so called potato wedges was not expected.. soggy sliced pieces of potato... not wedges in any form!! Very disappointed!!

Well. Says shuts at 11pm. Ring at half 10pm ignored. They knock food hub off, also blank the phone so the dont have to take orders. Absolute joke. If it states it shuts at 11pm. Make sure it is 11pm really downhill sonce ots under new management recently

I got wedges and coleslaw, omg the wedges were very hot and lovely and the coleslaw is amazing 🤩

Ordered via uber eats, didn't receive the order. Was noted as cancelled, spoke with the driver with delivery instructions and was not interested in the slightest, kept talking over us. Tried to call the store twice but phone was getting put down on us. The delivery instructions were noted on the order, given over text and over the phone. Waited for nearly 2 hours for it to be cancelled!

It's very badly food and it's was very cold and old look likes dogs food after 2 hours still order not arrived very cold and bad, the area as well be very dirty yaky.

Ordered a few days ago at 10pm. Received no food but chasing a refund. Maybe I ordered at the wrong time and they were closing? fair enough. Ordered tonight at 9:40pm really wanting to give them another chance and guess what!?... CANCELLED on Uber eats. Done with this takeaway and won't ever try again. This place is an absolute joke. They list their open and delivery times and don't actually keep it open for orders. Laziest takeaway in Whitehaven. They'll shut down soon. TARA!

The wedges are out of this world, 🌍😜

Order takeaway via FoodHub, the order was over half an hour late and once arrived my order was incorrect and the items that were correct were disgusting. I contacted the takeaway and asked to speak to the manager about the issues, he was then extremely rude on the phone and put the phone down. Would not recommend!

We spent 32.20 on food, and when it arrived the shish/chicken kebab was tiny. It was all pitta and no filling. The wrap was small. And I know the wraps are bigger else where. The only thing that we totally like was the boneless chicken and the wings.

Filthy dirty place also this business has been seen cleaning chicken in an open yard on the bare floor how nobody has been poisend yet I do not know

Always nice chicken, the wedges are the business from here. Best to phone your order in if you are going to collect as they make it fresh for you and you will have to wait 20 min

I am discussted with the behaviour of the son at this shop was unable to take card payments so I had to go down to the bank then the shop to get my delivery he charged me for delivery and more had an attitude aswell I would highly recommend avoiding this place

Placed an order with chicken hut it arrived before the time was up the spicy chicken was perfect the guy who delivered was nice and pleasant cant remember his name he must have walked down tou flat as I live in duke street it's great that you can keep going with this pandemic well done I will be ordering again

The young lad ..also spoke to my wife in the same manor.she didt like his attitude an didt place the order for that manor..he then called her a idiot...when she askd where's Abdul? He replyed I'm Abdul..But knowing his farther myself.I knew it was his son..As his farther Abdul would not talk to a lady in that manor..HE became angry asking for her name..saying come to the f**king shop if you don't like it...She askd if it was because she was white an he called her a racist b***h..an laughed loudly ..he was nasty, swearing ..I've never witnessed such foul language from a take away.ever ..An would never use this takeaway again strictly because off LITTLE Abdul...WE WERE long time customers...Employers can't talk like this! so just cause his dad owns it ...Don't mean he can be this way ..spoild..Very impolite, For growing up in the bunniss..He knows no phone skills.!! That tone so vile..Never will I use ckn hut again ..wish I could put zero!!!!....

Had this yesterday about 7pm. Me and my partner had the same food during the day. She got wedges only, I got peri peri chicken and wedges meal,I was up being sick all Night. Possibly food poisoning. Never going back

Always ordered through their own website. Nice freshly cooked chicken. Friendly staff and never had any problems. Much rather eat chicken at a local place like this than KFC.

Ordered through just eat, made a mistake with my order so I phoned up and explained and offered to pay extra delivery to deliver to the actual address. I accept it was a error on my part but I didn't expect to get the abuse from the guy on the other end of the phone. Said I was a time waster, called me an idiot, then offered to fight me....not exactly good service I'd say.

Best chicken wraps and kebabs around very speedy delivery service oh and don't forget to try the wedges

Terrible food! Chicken was old and the drink I got was sugar free, Tescos own 50p drink.

They have some of the best delivery drivers 😀

Don't order from here, if you ask for delivery they point blank refuse you. If I could give lower stars for person centred and keeping the customer happy they would be within the minus.

I had a takeaway and ordered a box of the pork wings and the breast of beef kebab it was absolutely delicious.i really like their wedges too.will order again tonight x
