Very poor food at this takeaway,must have been pre done as was cold and no taste.Did not like the idea of a lump of gravy on top of the fried rice.

Has to be hands down the worst Chinese we have ever had. Portion size not like normal Chinese, fried rice is sent in a child’s portion and you pay extra for it. Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was so tasteless veg was so hard not even fried a little bit one piece of pepper 3 slices of onion all raw and a tomato!??? Hubbys chicken with pineapple tastesd like sugar water and had a pink tinge to it!? Looked like it had been cooked in same pan as mine due to colour. Chips were just ok. Never again. Should have stuck to new Hong Kong.

Have you still cut your fried rice down to half the porshion as there isn't enough to go with the meal surely that s a matter for for consumer protection

Panda house is a great option if you want a takeaway, the food is delicious never had a problem will keep going back

We never go anywhere else always a great meal lovely staff especially Joan and Euphen, been going to this place since it opened in around 1976, always lovely chips and plenty of them .

My house mate said he'd treat for my birthday so I got fish chips n curry sauce. The chips were greasy and over cooked the curry sauce was bland and here is my biggest bugbear of all bones in a greasy fish with repugnant batter. Absolute pig swill at best.

Ordered food and told 15/20 mins, arrived after 20mins and still waited 15mins, once we got home order was wrong. Some food very greasy and some very dry. This place is usually perfect. A off day maybe??

Panda house is definitely my favourite Chinese, I don’t order from anywhere else but here. The food is always beautiful and hot, and always massive portions. Staff are really friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my son had salt and pepper chips with a curry sauce. Definitely the best to date. Fantastic mixture of soft and crispy chips, melt in the mouth. A superb combination of flavours - chillies, onions, garlic and peppers- very flavoursome indeed and I am a fussy eater. Curry sauce thick and tasty. The service was great, very friendly and chatty. Will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu. 10/10

Finally found a decent Chinese......loved it! Staff are friendly and very accommodating 😁 Will definitely be back x

First visit for us although heard about it from many friends. All food was good and tasty although Kung Po could have been spicier for my liking. I had rice but nicked a few chips off someone else and they were very good chips.

Ordered ribs and chips. Very good. Think its bit expensive. Not a lot of sauce were a bit dry. Also ordered sausage and chips. Lots of chips.

Este es realmente el mejor chino en el Oeste de Cumbria. El arroz es suaves y las patatas fritas son para morirse. Me voy esta noche, ya que no te apetece hacer té! Así carne en salsa de frijol negro con patatas fritas, arroz o salsa de salchichas y es! Tendré que echaban una moneda! Ñam ñam!

We were caravanning a few miles away and went for 2 chineese takeaways, there were no hygiene stars on view. The meals were poor and tasteless and we both left some which neither of us ever do. Won't be back.

I love panda house I have never had a bad meal ! Would definitely recommend their food 10/10. Always have chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce salt and pepper chips and chicken in plum sauce and boiled rice.

Always fabulous , week after week we order from here & we are never disappointed !!very lucky to have this place right on our door step !! Love it ❤️

Panda House is the by far the best Chinese take away in West Cumbria. From the Chicken Fried Rice to the Salt & Pepper Chips, everything is absolutely perfect.

My go to place for food quick, staff are dead friendly and chatty, food is always hot and we'll cooked. Lovely

Always busy and you can see why. We love a takeaway from here. We love the king prawn omelette and the spare ribs.

Time it write and this place does the best chips anywhere ever!! Would give a 5 star if they'd only start delivering

Good food but slow service.Plenty of variety and good sized portions. Chips very nice and sweet and sour dishes.Not open on Mondays.Friendly staff who seem to never stop. Parking difficult and no delivery but great taste

This spots always busy when i drove past and its been a while simce i had one. Got one sunday night and was very impressed. Had chips rice special chow mein and lemon chicken. Recomend it highly

Oh cmon people moaning about how greasy chips are, it's a bloody Chinese takeaway, do you expect them to be cooked in a fry lite cooker or something.Personally I think the chinese is gorgeous and one of the best round here. The portion sizes are huge.

Chips were really greasy, food was greasy. In general not great but okay. Id rather go elsewhere. Staff were nice enough, very quick service.

Firstly I must say the staff are great - very talkative and funny!We have lived in the area all our lives and been going to Panda house a number of years. The time before last was disappointing but we tried again just incase it was a one off. Unfortunately it was worse. Special chow mein had 4 pieces of chicken and 2 tiny pieces of beef - although flavour and portion size was great.Special curry had hardly any flavour - the rice portion was a joke - tiny box which would equate to about 3 spoonfuls - portions getting smaller each time.Chips - don't think the fryer has been cleaned out in a while - could only taste oil/fat.Won't be going again.

Lovely food and big portions.Service only takes ten minutes and is always busy.Would be even better if they delivered.Chips are hard to beat.

I love this place it has the best chips & curries in the local area i travel 3 miles! pass at least 3 other places to get there as its the best brilliant

Great chippy, just wish it was closer to where I live. Staff are really friendly always like a banter. The food is lovely, the do a great beef curry.
