The Bakehouse in Copeland

All of the Pies, breakfast buns and cakes are always perfect and great value. It is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

When looking for a local bakery I was led to another one which was so small I suspect they got their stuff from a larger business , so maybe a bit of advertising to let visitors know there was a proper baker in town would help. All wanted originally was a loaf of real bread and couldn't get it and had to go to the local tesco which is not he same as their bread is full of additives and I include the sourdough and other "real bread " derivivitives.

I have only given 1 star for this place, as when we got there, it was closed! Sign on door said it was open for the time we got there (lunch time). We'd walked from Haverigg to stop and have a drink and a cake. Would have loved to have put a better review up. It was not the only shop in the town that was closed thou.

El pan tampoco está mal, pero los brownies son tan jugosos, deliciosos y enormes que 1 es suficiente para dos personas. Personal servicial. Cierra alrededor del mediodía, por lo que no puede posponerlo.

Ok, usas guantes azules, buen comienzo NO tomas dinero de la gente con los mismos guantes que estás recogiendo comida. Hay suficientes bacterias en los guantes como si acabaras de ir al baño y no te hubieras lavado las manos. No les están cambiando los guantes nunca. . . toman su dinero y le dan cambio y luego van al siguiente cliente y recogen su comida con los mismos guantes que acaba de tomar el dinero de los últimos diez clientes. Yuck

£4.50 Picture says it all really. Unacceptable! Your pies are good but seriously if you're going to make the attempt to sell breakfasts, make the effort...
