The best restaurants in Winnington and Castle Cheshire West and Chester North West

I want to give a shout out to THE best cafe spot in Northwich (/Cheshire!). One of many visits again this afternoon and it's always such a pleasure. The staff are so friendly (my toddler loves all the attention!), they get the mochas spot on (for a bargain £) and it's just a great space to take a break - whether it's for catch-up brews or full on lunch dates.

Great little bar in town. I would love to be a regular but I live out of town and the opening hours are after I have left Northwich. I use to work there and they have a great team and selection of drinks it’s dog friendly bar so ticks all the boxes for me. Ellis & Alison are really hands on owners that support the business well. For a young lad joe manages the bar and team extremely well. Will definitely drop in for a drink and catch up soon the sister pub the bullring nw is also a fabulous addition the bar.

Poppy Rose tea room is just fabulous. Gorgeous setting serving lovely sandwiches, toasties, cakes and full afternoon tea. The food is delicious and the staff are lovely. A real gem of a place in Northwich.

Came for a friends birthday, lovely experience, 😀 King Prawn starter, Steak fajitas and the Med mixed grill.

I was early, waited outside patiently, 16.30hrs came don’t open. Lucky Pete just stared at me. 16.45hrs shutters still down and still being ignored. Unlucky Pete. My employees were working late to get an urgent order out. I was buying their evening meal to say thanks. All 19 of them.

Brilliant atmosphere and great / knowledgeable owners

The fish had more bones than meat, and the kebab was dry as a bone. I ordered a spicey kebab and there wasn’t a single bit of spice on it ! Will be swerving this place from now on

Takaway - Starter, prawn chat was very salty. Naan was dry and crumbly obviously not fresh. Currys were Luke warm and not very spicy. Had much better takeaways from here before. Disappointed today

Exciting new venue on the pedestrian precinct with one cask beer on hand pumps and possibly a second to come. Great small bar feeling and keen landlady.

Food 10/10 hands down songs in the back round the lads catching vibes with customers sick spot to go with ur friends on a night out

Honestly my favorite indian restaurant I've been to. Brilliant food at a fair price, amazing service and located in an easily accessible spot with some great scenary of the marina if you go on the right day! Definately recommend!

Good range of tastes, level of spices, and food types ... clearly named. Particularly impressed with the quality of the freshly prepared/cooked chicken. Friendly, attentive, courteous service from all staff. Good atmosphere even when busy. Great value. We will be back!
