Had a late lunch with a friend and the food was delicious!

Really good food, I had the bacon cheeseburger. Staff was very friendly and the wait wasn't to bad. It's also got a nice and cozy atmosphere also it's dog friendly! There is treats and dog bowls for them also. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience will definitely go again👍

Like every Friday afternoon I take on lunch somewhere in the town. With The Temple recently reopened under new ownership I decide to pop in. Good quality food to fill that lunchtime gap and keep you going for the next part of the day. Also reasonably priced. Will be back again

I've only recently discovered this gem. You need to visit it just to experience its amazing, nostalgia-driven decor that covers almost every inch of its walls. But, most importantly, you'll also find lovely, attentive staff as well as wonderful food and quality drinks. Check the opening hours because, at weekends, it also serves as Northwich's most inviting bar.

Anyone with two young children knows how hard eating lunch out can be. We got there at 11:30 with a 2 year old and a 4 month old. We asked specifically if they could cater for children and were told yes and given a children’s menu. We got everyone settled and happy. No mean feat at that age. We asked our 2 year old what she wanted. Pasta. We tried to order and were told this was a lunch menu only and we shouldn’t have been given it. Cue tears from 2 year old who couldn’t have her pasta. Offered an alternative nowhere near as good as the lunch menu options, so left with crying child. Can’t rate the food, only the service. And their carelessness screwed up the whole lunchtime.

Visited today for the first time and had excellent friendly service and delicious food. Really great place to visit

The waiting on staff are terrible.. maybe I'm spoilt as I work at the mere so my standards are high waiting on people as i want them to feel like theyre wanted when they walk in through the door. But when we walked in nobody told us certain foods weren't available, so we looked for a few mins and was told 'sorry we don't have that, we don't have that or that' would've been nice to be told when we first sat down! We had to remind her to take our drink order. I asked for no ice, she put ice in my drink, I asked for no salad, came with salad, I asked what is the mushroom burger she had no clue! This waitress had no menu knowledge at all. She didn't even go offer to ask. We went once before and was fine but this time was so bad because of this waitress who was just miserable and omg the amount of flies in there!! Vile. A very dry burger with chips £12 and pineapple juice £3?? No drinks menu with prices. So we paid about £35 for a pie and burger and 1 pineapple juice and 1 half a pint. over priced. Certainly won't go back again.

Decided to go in as looked like a nice little cafe with outside seatings. Chose to sit inside as I would be working and was greeted with menus straight away, didn't take long for them to come over and take my order (bacon barm and pot of tea). Food and drink was brought out promptly and it's was delicious, nice thick slices of bacon on a brioche bun (cost of this £6:20) There was WiFi available so I was able to work there for the time I was there. Lovely service and nice atmosphere. (visited on a Thursday at 11am)

We stopped by for an impromptu lunch. We visited at 12:30 and luckily there was a table. Although it was incredibly busy, service was prompt, as was the food. We each ordered the bacon, brie and cranberry ciabatta and shared a portion of cheesy chips. The food was delicious; the bacon was nice and thick with plenty of flavour and the chips were obviously home made and actually tasted like potatoes. We did have to wait for the chips but the issue was resolved quickly. Highly recommended place, excellent value, delicious food and friendly staff

First time trying Temple Cafe Bar after it’s magnificent reputation throughout the town . The restaurant interior was excellent , it was very old school with lots of antique pictures , gadgets and memorabilia . Was very interesting to look at whilst waiting for our food . The food was okay , just a basic bap . Bacon was underdone for my liking , egg was nice and gooey and hash brown crispy . The service was okay , the staff were slightly distant and were not very attentive however they did have a smile on their face and were polite Food : 5/10 Service FOH : 6/10 Waiting times : 3/10 Restaurant environment: 8/10 Cleanliness : 7/10 Price : 4/10 Overall score : 5.3

Nice little place, discovered on Google. Small place, with a relaxed atmosphere. Decent choice of food, drink options and reasonably priced. Look out for the various artworks and pictures on the walls. Good customer service as well. Would go again if in the area.

Great Cocktails, we all enjoyed our food. Only reservation is it is a bit small for larger groups, I took a group of 5, and felt a little squeezed in. But that was Friday December 23rd, so probably fine normally.

I often struggle to find a place to eat gluten free cake with coffee, this place turned out to be amazing. Delicious cheesecake and carrot cake, great service, friendly staff, great prices. I highly recommend!

Lovely place for a coffee or bit of food. Avocado brunch with bacon is a firm favourite, especially when my wife gives me some bonus bacon as she thought her sandwich had too much on. Staff lovely and friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Nothing bad to say about place.

Think we must have caught the staff on a bad day. We have previously had good food and great service the last two or three visits but on this occasion the service was bad because we clearly asked the young waitress was the offer of soup and a toasted sandwich inclusive at the price advertised on the menu. At the till they charged us as two separate items at full price. We challenged it and they said that’s the price! We waited and waited for drinks to be served as they just stood on the bar, in the end we had to ask for them. The food was bland and nothing special and this event puts us off going again. There’s plenty of competition in Northwich so we’re voting with our feet. Please try harder Temple Bar staff

Called in for a cocktail after a theatre visit. The staff here are so friendly and such a welcoming atmosphere. We will definately be back again 🙂

We had a brilliant experience here this morning. The food and service were excellent. Everything was reasonably priced and the tables and areas were all clean. The decor is great. We'll definitely be visiting again

Just had breakfast at Temple Cafe Bar, WOW - I had an omelette with chicken (yes - chicken for breakfast). My wife had the Full Monty breakfast- again - WOW. The staff are brilliant, the ambiance fantastic. We will definitely be back. Strongly recommended.

Really good service and actually a cafe that offers gluten free options. We see most places cater for vegetarian/vegan but virtually none for gluten free. My hubby had the New Yorker GF panini and loved it. First visit and would definitely go again. The quirky interior is a real talking point.

I've visited temple cafe several times now and each time I've found the service to be fantastic and the food and drink equally good. The selection of meals and snacks is impressive and caters for all tastes. The smoothies and cakes are mouth watering and there are light bites and large, filling meals on offer as well. It's lovely to sit outside and you're always made to feel welcome.

Poor went for a nice meal after checking the menu and the specials board after having a nice breakfast on when but totally let down as not doing specials tonight fri after being told they were so will stick to breakfast in future .

I love Temple Cafe Bar. It's atmospheric, quirky, different from other cafe's I've frequented. Well worth a visit.

The 'go to' place in Northwich to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat with family and friends. And with its welcoming atmosphere and ambiance, a great place to eat or drink if you're out and about on your own. There's a wide variety of beers, spirits wines hot drinks and food, and the Temple Cafe Bar also caters for Coeliacs (the Carrot Cake Apple Pie and Chocolate Cheesecake are to die for).

Just passing this place and nipped in for breakfast and coffee and the breakfast was fantastic will definitely be popping in for breakfast again. Thanks

We found ourselves in Northwich looking for lunch. Temple Cafe Bar was perfect. The service was efficient and friendly. The owner/manager (?) was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was honest and tasty, no frills. Good value and pleasant surroundings.

Can’t fault the food as it was delicious or staff who were super friendly, would highly recommend and we will be going again.
