Wonderful experience as always, lovely food brilliant service from Shell.

Had the most amazing meal last night in Miller and Carter, Chester. Every course was beautiful and cooked to perfection. Our waitress Emma was amazing, so attentive and funny! Honestly best waitress ever, so focused on every little detail to make sure our birthday celebration was perfect

Not sure what all the fuss is about, possibly just a bad night.

Absolutely lovely, staff member was gluten free so really helped when ordering my gf meal , free ice cream for my birthday 🎂 was a bonus 😋

Excellent Service from Chris, Food and Cocktails were amazing.

So disappointed in our visit. We sat down for a meal for our anniversary and completion on our house. 30 minutes into our night, a couple with a child were sat next to us. The child had an iPad that was on the highest volume possible. We asked the waitress to ask the table to turn it down. The table turned the ipad down 2 notches, my partner went the toilet and the ipad was turned back up again. We have 3 children ranging from the ages 14-4, not in a million years would We ever be so disrespectful towards any other people in the restaurant. Upon speaking to a manager, he said there was nothing he could do. No apology, nothing. We will definitely not be coming back to this restaurant.

Service from Brian was amazing! He could answer all of our questions and was very funny. Food was amazing and we all had such a good time!

We went for the valentine meal on Saturday and all we can day is we had a wonderful time excellent food no problems at all we all 3 courses and the drinks was great too, we did notice many other tables had problems but it didn't effect our experience,the service was good and staff was friendly and helpful overall a great time

Food was good, especially the main courses of steak and a dirty burger. The staff are attentive and kind, and the place was bustling for a Sunday evening. One star taken off as the restaurant itself looked like it needed a freshen up, with the carpets at the service area a little worn.

When arrived there were 2 members of staff, we were not welcomed they walked off and took a few minutes for another member of staff to welcome us and confirm or booking. The restaurant was not overly busy, we made or order for food and drinks. 50 minutes later the meal arrived, firstly my wife highlighted the Yorkshire puddings were cold, they were quickly replaced with warm soggy ones. I then added the gravy which was cold, so we informed the server. Between us arriving and being served our server changed twice, we waited another 25 minutes for the replacement. The table was left for 15 minutes before being cleaned with new cutlery. The experience was over 2 hours, the food or service was not what we except from Miller & Carter.

Feeling pretty disheartened by this visit, arrived approx 15 mins before booking (granted our fault we were early) table not ready and were happy to wait however the table wasn’t ready until 20 mins after our booking time. Once seated we were refused mocktails for our teenage children, apparently this is policy yet on previous visits this hasn’t been an issue and server Ella couldn’t give an explanation as to why. However they could have the mocktails off the children’s menu??? Starters were ok, reassured the pink chicken in the chipotle chicken starter is normal and was cooked not raw as it looked. Mains both steaks ordered were under cooked one sent back as ordered medium rare and it was barely a rare steak, this was returned having been cooked correctly. The greens side had many stalks left on the green beans and my daughter got one stuck in her throat of course this lead to tears and abit of commotion going totally unnoticed by staff. When they came over to clear the table shortly after and she was still visibly upset nothing was mentioned or asked if she was ok. All ok with desserts

Really good. Food is quality, fairly pricey however. We had the set menu and was good- annoying that half of the set menu options are all additional. Good atmosphere and staff were lovely.

Beautifull meal, served by Olivia who helped us with the specials menu to get the best deal ,and choice of wine. Everything was amazing best miller and carter meal we had so far.

Had a lovely meal here last night. They managed to exceed my expectations. All of the staff were lovely and could not do enough to make the night enjoyable. Our server Lia picked up that it was a birthday celebration and went above and beyond to make it special for the birthday boy! Food was awesome, clean plates all round. There is nothing to fault here and nothing that should change, well done to all there last night it was incredibly busy but still ran like clockwork! Very impressed on my first visit but will be back!

Food is always amazing here, meat cooked perfectly and the lobster tail tender and juicy. Staff make you feel welcome and service is quick even when busy. We chose the Valentines sharer for £95 which is well worth it.

There's an accessible entrance with plenty of room inside and out. The restaurant is very clean and has a wonderful 'vibe' inside. We had a large food platter for two, two cocktails, a sourdough starter and our bill came to £82.00 which we're happy with. The service was efficient, prompt, professional and they provided us with boxes to take away. Ffion was serving us today and was very professional/knowledgeable about the menu and ensured we had a wonderful dining experience.

Had a wonderful meal at the Chester Miller & Carter. Probably the best ‘Dirty Burger’ I have ever had - will probably be having it next visit. The atmosphere was great and the staff who looked after us excelled. I have to write that Emma and Christopher, who looked after us, could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

We had a lovely meal last night. We did the rare treat deal which is insanely good for the price and the food was delicious and came out very quick with the steak cooked to perfection and the cocktails were so good. Our sever was Joanne and she was lovely and helpful. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Chris served us last night 26th jan. he looked after us really well, we didn’t have to wait long considering how busy it was. What a pleasant guy, really friendly and considerate. Looking forward to returning and compliments to the chef the steaks were perfect x

Tried the Sunday sharing platter, advertised with "crispy roast potatoes". In fairness the steak and the lamb were delicious. The chicken was slightly overcooked... Kept warm drying out.... But the roast potatoes were awful. Everyone knows that placing salad boiling potatoes (in their skin) into the oven doors not make a proper roast potatoes. It's a dried boiled potatoe in skin which isn't crispy! Nice meat but all questionable for £69 platter. Carrots would have at least added colour.

We had booked for my birthday and when we arrived we were informed that there had been a problem with the fire alarms and that they may go off again but an engineer was on the way. We were given the choice if we wanted to stay and decided we would. I'm so glad we did! We were so well looked after. Our server Julie was fabulous and was so genuine and showing an interest as we chatted to her. The food was delicious, as usual. They were so sorry about the alarms going off, but it didn't effect our night at all. Thank you to Julie for making our night so special and to the team for looking after us so well.

Ella our server was lovely. Very good service. The starter of sticky chipotle chicken was really nice. Sirloin steak was a bit chewy but overall a nice meal.

Had a lovely Christmas meal with extended family. Lovely restaurant, food was good and staff were lovely even though we were 40 minutes late.

Great food and great customer service. I always love coming to miller and carter the steaks never disappoint. I always go for the T-bone which is a great steak to experience 2 different cuts of meat and is always cooked to perfection. Chester is also one of the best locations I believe miller and carter has and has always been a favourite for my birthday. Thank you so much for another great evening. Olivia the server tonight was always making sure we had a great time and even brought out a birthday desert for myself.
