I came here before opening time to complete some work... Claire the landlady was very friendly and very accommodating... The pub doesn't open till 3pm but Claire opened up early for me... Thank you !! The iron bridge has live music and themed event nights 🎸🎷🎶🤠👢 A great little pub with beer garden and limited off Street carparking to the side of the building.

Karaoke on Saturday nights is always fantastic. Claire puts some amazing events on throughout the year too.

It’s great to have food back here at a reasonable price. We can recommend the Masala chicken burger and the panini. Looking forward to trying the Sunday roast soon.

They recently started serving food again. Masala chicken burger was lush. Friendly and prompt service.

I was visiting overseas and decided to stop by this pub. After showing my ID the bartender said, “I can’t serve you, you look younger than you do in your ID.” I asked him if he was serious and told him my age. Is there really no way to verify I had a legitimate ID? Not sure if racism or really just denying me and suggesting I had a fake ID but I didn’t appreciate it either way.

If you’re anywhere close by it’s worth a quick stop to checkout. This was the first Iron structure every built anywhere in the world & for that fact alone is worth a stop. Having said that, it’s a small bridge & nothing else. We stopped by and had lunch across from it.

Relatively small pub but everyone friendly inside. 1 pool table and some decent drinks on tap. Maybe a tad pricey for a small local like this but I don't have not been out much since lockdown.

Enjoyed a few hours in the beer garden yesterday - all the staff are very friendly, great service, good quality food and beer at very reasonable prices; what more could you want?

Our local watering hole! Been a few times with my partner and our son. The roast dinners are fabulous and you won't find better salt and pepper wings anywhere! Every single member of staff is so friendly and talkative with their customers and I think they have very high standard for customer service and satisfaction! Not one complaint about the place :) also, the resident pupper is gorgeous!

Fantastic service here, gorgeous Sunday Roast, and a great pint of Cask (Wainwright). The only downside is Cask isn't on very often, some of these lager boys must be afraid they might taste something! Haha

Really, really good ‘pub-style’ food. Friendly staff and great service. A proper ‘local’ pub with a small beer garden. This is a hidden gem. And the fish and chips. Wow!

Went with a party of 16, pre booked food as it was after normal serving hours. We had an amazing night. The food was delicious and nothing was wrong with any orders and none of the side dishes were forgotten either. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Place smells of a bleach. Staff doesn't know how to serve tea or coffee. Sunday lunch very poor.

Great pub and the friendliest staff I took them in our karaoke party bus for their Christmas do congrats to Jen the only person to score 100 on our karaoke singing machine will defo visit again best staff ever

Yes a party of friends and family went to the kareoke on saturday night for a birthday celebration for one of my daughters... not really impressed as the DJ seemed to gear most things around regulars and let them sing all the time

Good basic pub to call for a quick pint or two. Couple of cask ales and varied of lager choices. Friendly staff keep the place clean and tidy.

Great local, apart from backward patrons

Food is good pub fare and the specials are generally homemade. Presentation could be a little better but the food itself is lovely and good value for what you get. Live music every Friday night and Karaoke Saturday and Sunday night as a rule. Two real ales from traditional hand pumps and a good range of other beers and largers.
