Let it not be mistaken, this place has amazing food and is decorated very nicely. You can see why it has nearly 5 stars. But as a young woman, please steer clear. I’ve been twice now for meals with friends and both times were made to feel uncomfortable by the male staff. The first time I shrugged it off. But it’s happened again so I feel it only fair to warn others. In my latest experience the waiter/owner was constantly winking, interrupting my conversations to try and ‘join in’, attempting to ply me with free alcohol including shots despite repeatedly saying no because I was driving (his response was ‘so?’), and then getting visibly annoyed when I wouldn’t engage with the unwanted attention, even saying ‘Fine! Be like that!’. I’m all for a joke and friendly chatter but this is just uninvited and unwelcome behaviour that made me feel uneasy and creeped out.

I was taken here for Father's day, What a brilliant place. The food was excellent, with a wide choice of tasty food. Only remark I'd make is, some of the portions are small, considering the price. Two items that were a disappointing are the King prawns & Chicken wings. Come on guys ... Ambiance was great with an artist playing a guitar in the background and our waiter had a real dry sense of humour and a joker and this added to the whole vibe. We really enjoyed our visit including the youngsters who are hard to please! Will we be going again? Absolutely 💯 %.

Excellent food, relaxing ambiance and great service. What’s not to like? Don’t be fooled by its modest high street exterior, this restaurant is a big hitter and ticks all the boxes for foodies like us. I cannot speak highly enough of our dining experience. The reviews on Facebook were very impressive so my wife booked a table to celebrate my birthday. This was our first visit - but definitely not our last. Footnote: On arrival, we were offered a complimentary cocktail as it was my birthday but, as I was driving, we declined. That said, on departure I was given a bottle of Efes, my favourite Turkish beer, to drink at home. Now that is top customer service especially to someone they have never seen before.

We had a group of 9 dining last night . Food was (ie steaks tender) good, we ate it all. . Service was fine, and friendly . Entertainment was good, but a little too loud . Difficult to have a conversation . We really enjoyed it and it added to atmosphere. Tables are very basic / rustic. Prices are a bit on high side as not a ‘Fine Dining ‘ experience. I had forwarded link to the guests of the website / menu and it was noted that on the website, it clearly says 20% discount Sun -Thurs. albeit elsewhere it says Sun-Wed. Either way it was a WEDNESDAY NIGHT . We do believe prices should be about 20% less anyway . The bill arrived & two guests asked about it ’is this with discount?’ We were told ‘that offer finished March ! ‘ Mmmm shouldn't still be on web site, as this is misleading . Our guests took it in good spirit. Paid in full and still gave a good tip . But for future diners . Check first ? But overall a good evening and no food complaints .

Just back from a fantastic meal at Mediterranean Steak and Wine. Service outstanding, food even better, great atmosphere, best restaurant in Northwich in my opinion.

Had a meal here on Saturday night and l still feel that the food and service is brilliant. Tried the chicken and lamb skewers which are just as good as the ones I get when on holiday. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. Look forward to going again with some friends in the near future.

Had a fabulous evening, top class food, great entertainment and very attentive staff. Can't fault the place I'll be back for certain.

We visited last Sunday for a birthday celebration which was brilliant. Everything about the restaurant was fantastic- the service was excellent and the food to die for. My fillet steak was absolutely delicious. The guitarist who was playing added to the overall atmosphere and probably made the occasion perfect. Can't thank the restaurant, staff and guitarist enough for a fabulous afternoon and evening.

First time here and loved the vegetarian moussaka and sticky toffee pudding! Lovely little place too, would be great for a date.

Food, atmosphere and service was all great. The menu is what I would consider a tad on the pricey side, but I don't mind paying a little extra for food this good. They do offer a cheaper midweek menu however. Would definitely eat there again.

My wife booked a table over the phone for 3pm on New Years Day (her birthday) so that We could eat and then go to the cinema at 6pm. We arrived at about quarter to to a closed restaurant. Called the number and spoke to someone who said they weren't open until 5pm so there was no way we could have booked a table for 3pm. The person I spoke to then said they would check and get back to me. When they called back they said that there was no booking in our name at all for that day! Checked wife's phone and can clearly see that she called them on the 21st and spoke to someone. The person we spoke to said that we must have been mistaken and that they hadn't been at the restaurant much recently due to a bereavement bit no apology or solution offered. Very, very disappointed.

An excellent midweek meal out. The standard of the food was very good indeed. My husband said that his steak was the best that he has eaten for a while. I had grilled fish and it was delicious. Live music and friendly service created a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Girls night out. Food gorgeous, service was impeccable and we were left to chat, order and no rush to leave. If you havent been, go. Its a local and fantastic addition to Northwich!

The dining experience was spoilt by having the table far too close to the fire. We were all sweating and the air that you were breathing was burning your nostrils. A totally unbearable dining experience, Which was a pity as the food was good and so was the hospitality.

We visited during the day on a Saturday and opted to have the early bird menu. There was lots of choice, the waitress was brilliant at helping us pick and gave us recommendations. The food was lovely, served quickly. They gave us a free Baklava for my birthday which was delicious.

The wife and I visited here last night for an early dinner and it was first class. Service was very friendly and super quick and the food....my goodness, the food - so very very nice! The sirloin was tender and just superb. Will be making it back regularly as only live within walking distance.

Third trip tonight and still think the food is delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful BUT on this third visit I was very disappointed with the portions. It’s a fairly pricey restaurant and that was excused because of the food served. Portions are much smaller and so prices feel disproportionate and unreasonable. We didn’t mind paying £18 for a main before but this time it was 4 strips of halloumi, a thin slice of goats cheese, a spoonful of salad, 7 chips and a mushroom.

Great food, service and atmospheric. Will definitely be returning soon.

Recently moved to Northwich and this is by far my favourite new local restaurant. Had an amazing time and the Tomahawk steak was incredible. Lovely staff, great atmosphere, will be back soon!

Fantastic evening!!! And it was a wednesday night at 6.30pm! The décor, service, food and entertainment were wonderful. Small car park on the side street. Went as a party of 4. We all had starter, steaks, wine, couldn't manage a dessert as we were too full but had liqueur coffees. Average per person £42-£48 depending on which steak we had. The rest of the extensive menu looked so good that one of us rebooked to return for a birthday and the rest were planning on returning soon. The singer, Mark D'Lacey, had a great voice and wide repertoire and we loved it. Highly recommend a visit.

After seeing and hearing lots of great reviews my partner and I finally came here and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely and welcoming. A very enjoyable dining experience. A lively atmosphere and packed (even on a Tuesday night!). I would recommend booking a table so you can get in and enjoy a nice meal out. Another great independent restaurant of Northwich.

Fabulous Mediterranean restaurant with friendly host, service was exceptional and the food tasty and fresh. We went as a work party of 6 and spent the evening here and we would all return. It was my friends 60th and the manager made a fuss and made a little celebration out of dessert. It was a nice touch.

We’ve travelled up to Northwich for work this week. We found this absolute gem of a restaurant a few nights ago and subsequently have eaten here again. The food is exceptional, competitively priced and the staff are amazing. We’ve had 2 great meals here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting the area! Live music on weds and Sunday too!

Travelled to visit this restaurant as was told to give it a try. Staff very friendly from the minute we walked it. I always find something when leaving reviews but I cant find a single fault at all for my 1st Visit. I like the way you can see the kitchen on the way past to the toilets. Toilets also clean. The started I had was Sucuk Izgara and trust me you need to try them. Mains was the Mediterranean Mix Grill and that was amazing. Not to much as some places you go they pile the plates. Also the prices reflect on the quality of food that you will be eating. You need to try this restaurant.

Just back from a family meal for my wifes birthday. The food is amazing. The best meat that I have eaten at a restaurant. I complimented them on how nce the meat was and they said it was because they got their meat from an established local butcher, but I think it is down to whatever their magicians and wizards in the kitchen do with it. So soft, moist and tasty. The staff are great, very freindly and accomodating, and the atmosphere is very good, and they have live music. The whole experience was brilliant.

Really good service, we arrived without a booking at a busy time and the host was able to accommodate us. Attentive but non pushy staff. Excellent food selection, we did the hot sharing plate as a starter and shared a Mediterranean mixed grill as main and baklava for dessert. Reasonable prices and a warm friendly atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent food and great service

Had a great Easter Sunday lunch there. Came with a 1 year old and the staff were fantastic, couldn’t have done more to make my little lad feel at home. Anyone worried about taking a little one out to eat, then this is a great place to go. Food was great as well!

This place is the best in Northwich I've been to by far. One of the best I've tried anywhere in a long time to be honest. Service and food were 10/10. Credit to the chefs and waiting staff, who were a good laugh. Brilliant.

This has only been open 4 months. The staff are attentive, and the food is amazing. The pictured is the Mediterranean steak and the chicken with mozzarella and asparagus. Live entertainment on Sunday evening which was excellent. A good atmosphere and lovely decor. Very recommended to try. We will be back soon.

We were a large party of 28 to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday everything about the afternoon was amazing. The staff were friendly and made a fuss of my dad. The food was hot and delicious. Because of the size of our party we pre ordered food but this just helped towards the smooth delivery of the food. Nothing was too much trouble and we all felt like we had a very special family celebration 🎊 Thank you x

Saturday night - Great food, service and atmosphere (if a little slow as there were some kitchen issues on the night). I would say that the prices are a little high, but so long as the quality of the food stays where it is then this can be forgiven. It would also be nice to have at least one other beer on tap - perhaps a locally brewed IPA to go with the steaks. This aside, I will be going again, no doubt.

Too good to stop and take proper pictures. I just couldn't help myself from tucking in before taking the photo, sorry. The food was immaculate and although pricey for its location, you feel like you're somewhere else once inside, it has absolutely beautiful decor. The staff are all very friendly and attentive and I highly suggest booking in advance because maybe 10-15 minutes after leaving, another table is being seated, I never see the place empty!

Great meal out for two. Friendly, attentive staff and great atmosphere. Busy despite being midweek (Wednesday evening). I'd guess that it's essential to book, especially for weekends. Only knocked one star from food as the starters weren't very exciting, despite a massive choice. Main courses were great. Overall good value.
