Vegan House in Cheshire West and Chester

Probably the best vegan burger to date. Loaded fried were amazing too. I wasn't expecting the presentation to be so good either. I had the Vegan house classic burger and added loaded fries. Vegan or non Vegan, this is the place to eat!

Great dinner at great price. Dirty fries were amazing. Could be the meal. We shared with a group of 4. Also ordered the fish and chips-wish there was more fish-so yummy, a doner kebab wrap and burger. Everything was delicious.

Vegan House is superb, well worth the visit. Food and choices of are brilliant. Will go back on our next visit

Fish n chips and chick'n and chips. Probably the best vegan food in a very long time. Large portions, will easily be back on next visit to Chester

Great tasting vegan kebab I was full but had to taste the cake too which was equally gorgeous.

Delicious dirty fries with the chicken!

Came here with my wife, I had the fish and chips which was incredible. So tasty. Tartar sauce (which i dont normally like very much) was amazing. Staff were friendly and great atmosphere in the market. Highly recommend.

Been here a few times and food has been great every time. Really struggled to choose what to eat today as I was very hungry and everything sounded so good! Settled on a small plate of southern fried "chicken" bites and a mini dirty fries with vegan doner meat (£15 total). Staff were helpful in advising how big portions were. Both fridges were delicious, and generous portions. Surprised I managed to eat everything but there was quite a bit of salad on the dirty fries for which I was grateful, as it might have been a bit too heavy otherwise. I would definitely have both these items again. ☺️

I visited Vegan House as I won a voucher in a raffle. We all ordered different type of burgers and were all very tasty, non greasy and very flavourful. They were simple and yet delicious. If you crave fast food this is the place. The only thing is that we got extra coleslaw and got plain shredded red cabbage with no mayo or seasoning.

I love. Recommend their dirty donner fries 10/10.

What an amazing find, on holidays from Australia I discovered this amazing stall at the Chester market. The food was bloody amazing and the staff were extremely friendly.

We had the southern fried ‘chicken’ and chips, falafel bowl and ‘doner meat’ dirty fries. It was all absolutely delicious, especially the ‘chicken’! You wouldn’t have known it was vegan unless you were told. The customer service was 5* as well! After telling Mark (I asked for his name so I could include it in the review) I had a hangry toddler in tow he ensured she was fed in no time and even brought the food over after seeing I had my hands full. Great food, great service, highly recommended!

This restaurant is inside the Chester market. The atmosphere is wonderful and all of the food was amazing. The staff was also really friendly. There’s nice areas to eat inside the larger market.

Chester Market is one of the best places on earth...the food at Vegan House is incredible. It's like the best home cooked but restaurant quality you can get, all while having unlimited places to sit/drink! Chick's loaded fries with a Cheshire ale get my vote 👍🏽

Delicious vegan scran! Everything we ordered was incredible and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Situated in Chester Market, there is no reason not to get down there and have some of their amazing food. Even if you're with people who refuse to eat vegan, there are other stalls they can go to in the market. Instantly my favourite place for a quick bite in Chester! Pictures are classic burger, southern fried chicken bites, salt & pepper bites, doner wrap and sweet potato fries 😋

Vegan House is found in Chester market in the far left hand corner. We tried the Jaffa flavoured cake which was very moist and had a lovely orange flavour with rich dark chocolate. Next time we try their savoury dishes. Decent prices. Highly recommended

Kebab Wrap was the best. Can’t sing the praises of this eatery enough. Oh, the staff and chef were brilliant as well. My partner had the sausage bap as well, and had to convince her several times that it was vegan (she isn’t vegan). A great find for a vegan meal in pleasant surroundings.

Had a meal here today, my wife, the vegan had a burger with dirty doner fries, me a carnivour had the doner wrap with dirty fries, all served by Anka. The food was excellent and served quickly, how does it go, I could not believe it was Vegan. The taste was excellent, good portions as well, followed by some of the best chocolate cake I have tasted. Thanks Anka, we will be back.

The food has been excellent each time we have been and today the chef shared the red cabbage recipe with me. It is the only place that we eat out on our trips to Chester. The dirty fries starter and main are our favourites

Wonderful customer service and the best burger of my life!!! We also had the dirty doner loaded fries and they were outstanding! I’ll definitely come back to Chester just for this stall - worth the 7 hour round trip!

I came here for breakfast, it's inside Chester Market so there are other food places too. My husband eats meat so opted to eat somewhere else but I really wanted to try here. Checked online numerous places says opens at 10am. We arrived early at 9:30 so we had a look around sat down and my husband went to order his about 9:55 and I stayed with my toddler at the table. Once back I waited until just gone 10am and walked over and it was still closed, no staff in sight. Thought ok fine maybe they are a bit late, I sat back down double check times online and waited and checked again at 10:30, by this time my husband had and finished his and there was still no sign of it opening at time soon so had to go else where. Really disappoint and hungry! No sign to say they were opening late or shut that day, nothing. When we left at 11:30 there was someone in there... cant really say you offer breakfast when you're not there until nearly midday. I hate to leave a bad review for a full vegan establishment but it really got to me as I was so looking forward to it and wasted time waiting around for them to open when we had to get going. UPDATE YOUR OPENING TIMES! to avoid disappointing other potential customers. Wouldn't return.

I love going to the Vegan House when I am in Chester. Their doner meat is the best. And I tried Fish and chips this time, the batter was so crispy and the fish was fantastic, definitely worth another visit soon.

What an excellent place! Really tasty food, loads of options and obviously everything vegan! We had the dirty fries, ‘doner’ wrap, southern friend ‘chicken’ and the ‘fish’ and chips. All delicious, highly recommend a visit - even if you’re not vegan!

Donee kebab was amazing, cannot fault it even slightly and the portions were really good too. The worker (I believe he said his name was rohan?) was also very friendly, nice to talk to and helpful. Food was made quickly and well presented. 10/10 would very much recommend

Great experience here the other night, food was delicious and service was friendly and efficient. Only notes would be that as a fully vegan place it has a lot of emphasis on “fake meat” options and I would like to see more purely veg options that are creative without being ultra processed. Little bit expensive given the size of the meals but nice atmosphere and worth a visit!

Really good vegan food. Asked Anka what was best and she recommended the dirty fries with doner - both my dad and I thought it was excellent. My dad isn't always impressed with vegan food - so a success there. Great food and service. Cake was excellent as well.

I've been craving tofish and chips for weeks, happened to find myself in Chester and this place hit the spot just perfectly! I'll be back again, but not sure I'll ever get to try anything else when this meal is just sooo good 😋👌🏻🌱

My first visit here, despite being relatively local and in Chester at least once or twice a week. I’ve not eaten meat for nigh on 20 years, and been vegan for about half of that. During that time, I’ve seen a massive improvement in what’s available, particularly eating out. In terms of the food on offer here, it’s one of the best vegan eateries I’ve had the pleasure of eating at. I was given a very warm welcome and talked through the menu. Nice general chat with friendly staff member too. The menu looked extremely impressive; I settled for a ‘doner’ kebab with some fries on the side. Presentation was excellent. The food was divine, very tasty and extremely filling. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other dishes on offer. A final bonus is the wonderful atmosphere of the brand new Chester Market. My daughter chose pasta from another outlet, but we could still eat together with our respective foods. Can’t recommend Vegan House enough (you don’t have to be vegan to enjoy it I promise!). Thanks guys!

We have eaten here twice and the food is fantastic, very fresh and well cooked. It is great to have such a selection of delicious vegan food. The Market Hall is busy and vibrant but the music was a little too loud. We mentioned this and it was turned down.

I love Vegan Housefoods. Their food is out of this world. So flavoursome and fresh. I always go for the dirty fries with doner meat. Go for it, you won’t regret it! Amazing place - the best kebab I’ve ever had. I first tried this place when they had a stall at one of the Vegan markets, but we’ve since been back to the main restaurant and had another. They do a breakfast wrap, kebabs, fries etc. Amazing food and doesn’t feel greasy unlike a lot of places! Would recommend to anyone 🥙

This vegan food is amazing! I had my first visit to Vegan House on Friday, I had the southern fried chicken burger, salt n' pepper bites, and the fries, and it was soooo good 🤤🤤 It was the best vegan burger I've had, I wish I lived closer to Chester so I could eat there every week! However, I will return and try more of the menu as soon as I can, and until then, I will try to tell as many people about this little vegan gem I've found .. thank you for making awesome food, guys! 😁
