Takaway - Starter, prawn chat was very salty. Naan was dry and crumbly obviously not fresh. Currys were Luke warm and not very spicy. Had much better takeaways from here before. Disappointed today

A wonderful place that serves several different vegan dishes. The food is excellent and the staff are extremely polite and attentive. It's just a shame they are 20 miles from where I live.

This currry house is the best in cheshire. And probably better than all the curry houses in Manchetser also. The food is incredible.

Ordered a takeaway from here on Saturday night it was about £15 more than other places but I thought it must be good , I requested no peppers as I am intolerant to these, when it arrived it had lots of very large pieces of peppers and half an onion the other dish was meant to be a lamb madras it was spicy tomato soup with lamb in it, very disappointing

Staff very friendly, Mur our waitress was very polite and the service was excellent. The food was well presented and very tastey.

I enjoyed a lovely meal here last night. We ordered Garlic Chicken Karahi and the chefs special Chicken 65 with garlic and onion rice and peshwari naan. The dishes were cooked to perfection really tasty and rich. Our waiter was wonderful, even though it was early on a Tuesday so the restaurant was quiet he made a great atmosphere, he was very attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be back and I will recommend to friends in Northwich!

Just been to this lovely little restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and take great care in making sure everything is perfect for you, they take pride in what they do. The food was delicious, full of flavour. I am a vegetarian and there is more choice on this menu than I have ever seen in another restaurant. There is a section dedicated to vegan and dairy free. Me and my friend had a really good experience here. We ordered lamb chops, bhajis, lamb korai, chicken pathia and two Peshawari nans. Food was fresh and very tasty, a great price and Nesar offered a brilliant experience to us. Thanks a lot guys will return soon

The food is really really good and the staff are extremely nice. Except that it's a bit pricey for the quantity of food but I guess that's expected for the good quality.

Brilliant vegan Indian food. More options than you could ever ask for and unique signature dishes that will just blow you away. Typically some restaurants will just make you a vegetable curry where as here there’s plenty of fillings and mock meat options made in house. I had the quorn vegan chilli honey curry and it was fantastic. The staff are attentive and kind, always making you feel welcome

I was very excited to try the food here after discovering it had an extensive vegan menu and it did not disappoint. It was an absolute 10/10. Super welcoming and cosy as soon as we walked in, all the staff were so lovely and polite. And then the food 😍 oh my goodness, it’s the best meal we’ve had in ages. I’d highly recommend trying the food here, it is sooo tasty! We’ll definitely be back, it’s well worth the journey!

We visited Northwich Tandoori for a meal before a show ladt week and weren't disappointed, we have been a few times and its always spot on from friendly staff to excellent food Give it a go and be sure to try the chicken handi it really is the best.

This was the best curry I've had in Northwich and the vegan options are worth it alone. Not to mention the chap that served us. So handsome.

Definitely the best curry in Northwich! Northwich Tandoori have taken a lot of time and effort to put together an amazing vegan menu featuring options I've never seen offered anywhere else! We always have a great meal when we order from here and Zahid is especially helpful and makes the whole experience perfect from start to finish.

Love this place, we've been about five times now and it's always amazing. The specials really are just that! The service is great and we are always made to feel really welcome. Never had a bad meal, even though we choose the more exotic dishes and I can't wait to go back. Thanks to everyone who makes it a meal to remember.

Good for large family gathering early evening

Excellent service from the moment we arrived until we left. And the food was even better!! Everything we ordered was freshly made and piping hot - most importantly the food was absolutely gorgeous. We normally go to Bombay Quay, but was recommended this place - definitely our new go to for Indian food.

Meal was sensational, absolutely delicious. The staff was also so friendly specially Hassan who welcomed us with his generous hospitality and made us feel so special. Really enjoyed our visit n we will be back !!

First time I've eaten here, but definitely would eat here again. Excellent authentic Indian dining experience, the specials choice is amazing, I had the mixed platter for starters. Then Jason's special for my main course which is fantastic, very tasty, spicy and extremely good on the palate with a sag aloo for a side dish with chapattis. The staff are knowledgeable, discreet and attentive. I'd recommend visiting and eating here. Thank you 😊

Disappointing Takeaway. Last time we were short a set of chutneys and Peshwari instead of plain nan, but let it go. This time, no salad or chutneys with bhajis, nan undercooked and jalfrezi just didn't taste like jalfrezi and under-spiced with no green chillies. Paneer was dry. I know food is expensive right now but feels like corners being cut on ingredients. Wouldn't mind but it's £40 nowadays for two starters and two mains. It also just didn't have the flavour we expect from Northwich Tandoori. Loyal customers eating in and out for years but will probably start to go elsewhere. Shame as we like the veggie and vegan options sometimes.

We had a really good evening here. All the food was fantastic. My wife is Vegan and she was very happy with the extensive vegan menu. Great service and we will be back again soon.

Placed order and after 1 hour past the time off delivery still no food and phone line wouldn’t be answered, avoid like covid absolutely bad service let’s see how the refund goes now !! Updated … now been 1 week and no refund been given still absolutely shocking services !

It can be difficult to find an Indian restaurant that provides vegan alternatives. The vegan menu here is extensive, creative and delicious! I cannot recommend this place enough. My non-vegan relatives rated their food highly too!

There's nothing worse when trying somewhere new and getting a bad curry. I asked for a tasty, spicy keema. I was recommended a keema vindaloo. Not my usual go to but I took their word for it. It was literally mincemeat in a spicy gravy. Very poor indeed. Won't be going here again. Edit: I know what keema is, that wasn't the issue. The disgusting spicy gravy was the issue!

My Husband and I visited Northwich Tandoori, we had starters and main, and of course poppadoms! Food was amazing, so fresh and tasty, loads of meat in the curry as well. First time we have visited but definitely won’t be the last. Good value for money. Less than £45 each with starter, main, poppadoms, naan, and 2 alcoholic drinks each.

Had one of the nicest Indian meals ever. Came in here after moving into the are from Bolton so I know my curries. The staff were all friendly, polite and welcoming. Great menu choices. I went for chicken shaslick it was beautifully cooked. Great portion size so ended up taking some home. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning.

Incredible food, served with a smile from the lovely owner. The vegan and vegetarian options are as good as the meat options. They are absolutely right to be proud of their food, which they obviously are. Ingredients are all top notch, no frozen mushrooms. I have to keep coming back to add things to this review... The staff are willing to cater to your preferences, sand make great recommendations to try. I was starting to think my IBS was going to prevent me ever having curry again, but I can eat here. Upon asking, the owner was happy to discuss what the cause might be. If give 6 stars, if I could.

The owner pays a lot of attention to quality and it shows. The vegetables are fresh not frozen. Naan is made fresh. There are unique dishes. Also, the vegan meat replacements were created on site after experimentation to make them just right. I had the rogan josh with vegan kofte and was impressed by the "meatiness". There is a full vegan menu with options for vegetables, chickpeas, tofu or vegan "meat".

Best Indian food that I've had in a long time. Everything was very tasty & well prepared. Hassan was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Separate Gluten free menu with a large choice. Will definitely return soon.

The best indian restaurant that we have ever been to. They went above and beyond to cater for us. They even made our meal vegan AND gluten free! Absolutely wonderful service. The staff are so friendly and professional. The atmosphere is very calming too. Couldn't have rated them higher!

Went for the early bird set meal, it was good value for money and the food was amazing. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff, would definitely recommend. (5 years ago) Went again last night, the food was still lovely. Got a free sample of chilli paneer which was absolutely amazing. Went in very late but they still served us and didn't rush us out.

Quite possibly the best lamb curries we’ve ever tasted in this country. My dad didn’t grow up here, and he’s a very picky eater who is quite critical of British Indian curries. So we were all surprised when he exclaimed with pleasure and asked me the name of the restaurant that I had ordered from. We had the Lamb Naga, Lamb Phall, and tarka daal. All three were absolutely bursting with rich, savoury, spicy flavour and we will most definitely be ordering these again! The chefs deserve a medal 🏅

Northwich Tandoori are the best Indian in town! We have tried others but always come back to Northwich Tandoori. We have only ever had food delivered and they have always been on time, food is hot and delivery person very polite. Highly recommend the Chicken Passanda, Onion Bhaji, and hot and spicy paneer. Delicious! For two adults we order two starters and 2 mains and always have enough for two meals! They are very generous and reasonably priced.

Had a Lamb Passanda and a chicken Vindaloo. Food was excellent and tasty.... I thought it was just on the side of expensive as in particular the vindaloo portion was fairly small 7 pieces of chicken but a tasty sauce. I think 6.75 a pint is steep for Northwich even for a restaurant. Overall a thumbs up but there are better value options in town of equal quality.

Best vegan Indian food in Cheshire

Amazing food, go here regularly for the vegan food, outstandingly diverse vegan options and quite frankly the best Indian food I’ve had. Tried the Tofu 65 this evening, which is now one of my favourite meals. The staff are always very pleasant and welcoming and often go here to dine with my non-vegan friends and family. Would highly recommend for all.

Amazing restaurant!! Being a vegan in northwich is hard sometimes, but thank goodness for northwich tandoori!! The vegan menu is insane!! So many options, fabulous food and great quality. We’ve never had an order wrong either. Staff are so friendly. Would 10000% reccomend to anybody!!
