Best curry I've had in a long time. Excellent vegetarian/vegan options, great service & atmosphere. The peshwari rice is a thing of wonder. Highly recommended!!

Definitely the best curry in Northwich! Northwich Tandoori have taken a lot of time and effort to put together an amazing vegan menu featuring options I've never seen offered anywhere else! We always have a great meal when we order from here and Zahid is especially helpful and makes the whole experience perfect from start to finish.

Love this place, we've been about five times now and it's always amazing. The specials really are just that! The service is great and we are always made to feel really welcome. Never had a bad meal, even though we choose the more exotic dishes and I can't wait to go back. Thanks to everyone who makes it a meal to remember.

Good for large family gathering early evening

Meal was sensational, absolutely delicious. The staff was also so friendly specially Hassan who welcomed us with his generous hospitality and made us feel so special. Really enjoyed our visit n we will be back !!

First time I've eaten here, but definitely would eat here again. Excellent authentic Indian dining experience, the specials choice is amazing, I had the mixed platter for starters. Then Jason's special for my main course which is fantastic, very tasty, spicy and extremely good on the palate with a sag aloo for a side dish with chapattis. The staff are knowledgeable, discreet and attentive. I'd recommend visiting and eating here. Thank you 😊

Disappointing Takeaway. Last time we were short a set of chutneys and Peshwari instead of plain nan, but let it go. This time, no salad or chutneys with bhajis, nan undercooked and jalfrezi just didn't taste like jalfrezi and under-spiced with no green chillies. Paneer was dry. I know food is expensive right now but feels like corners being cut on ingredients. Wouldn't mind but it's £40 nowadays for two starters and two mains. It also just didn't have the flavour we expect from Northwich Tandoori. Loyal customers eating in and out for years but will probably start to go elsewhere. Shame as we like the veggie and vegan options sometimes.

We had a really good evening here. All the food was fantastic. My wife is Vegan and she was very happy with the extensive vegan menu. Great service and we will be back again soon.

It can be difficult to find an Indian restaurant that provides vegan alternatives. The vegan menu here is extensive, creative and delicious! I cannot recommend this place enough. My non-vegan relatives rated their food highly too!

If I could leave no stars I would!! Placed order and after 1 hour past the time off delivery still no food and phone line wouldn’t be answered, avoid like covid absolutely bad service let’s see how the refund goes now !! Updated … now been 1 week and no refund been given still absolutely shocking services !

There's nothing worse when trying somewhere new and getting a bad curry. I asked for a tasty, spicy keema. I was recommended a keema vindaloo. Not my usual go to but I took their word for it. It was literally mincemeat in a spicy gravy. Very poor indeed. Won't be going here again. Edit: I know what keema is, that wasn't the issue. The disgusting spicy gravy was the issue!

My Husband and I visited Northwich Tandoori, we had starters and main, and of course poppadoms! Food was amazing, so fresh and tasty, loads of meat in the curry as well. First time we have visited but definitely won’t be the last. Good value for money. Less than £45 each with starter, main, poppadoms, naan, and 2 alcoholic drinks each.

Had one of the nicest Indian meals ever. Came in here after moving into the are from Bolton so I know my curries. The staff were all friendly, polite and welcoming. Great menu choices. I went for chicken shaslick it was beautifully cooked. Great portion size so ended up taking some home. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning.

Really great food with a separate vegan menu. Lovely staff. Our carnivore friends said it was the best Indian food they can remember! We were the only people dining - though Northwich seemed empty in general.

The owner pays a lot of attention to quality and it shows. The vegetables are fresh not frozen. Naan is made fresh. There are unique dishes. Also, the vegan meat replacements were created on site after experimentation to make them just right. I had the rogan josh with vegan kofte and was impressed by the "meatiness". There is a full vegan menu with options for vegetables, chickpeas, tofu or vegan "meat".

Incredible food, served with a smile from the lovely owner. The vegan and vegetarian options are as good as the meat options. They are absolutely right to be proud of their food, which they obviously are. Ingredients are all top notch, no frozen mushrooms. I have to keep coming back to add things to this review... The staff are willing to cater to your preferences, sand make great recommendations to try. I was starting to think my IBS was going to prevent me ever having curry again, but I can eat here. Upon asking, the owner was happy to discuss what the cause might be. If give 6 stars, if I could.

Best Indian food that I've had in a long time. Everything was very tasty & well prepared. Hassan was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Separate Gluten free menu with a large choice. Will definitely return soon.

Great fresh food and cater for a wide variety of dietary requirements. So much choice for everyone and very good! We tried the vegan masala and korma- we definitely recommend these!

The best indian restaurant that we have ever been to. They went above and beyond to cater for us. They even made our meal vegan AND gluten free! Absolutely wonderful service. The staff are so friendly and professional. The atmosphere is very calming too. Couldn't have rated them higher!

Went for the early bird set meal, it was good value for money and the food was amazing. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff, would definitely recommend. (5 years ago) Went again last night, the food was still lovely. Got a free sample of chilli paneer which was absolutely amazing. Went in very late but they still served us and didn't rush us out.

Quite possibly the best lamb curries we’ve ever tasted in this country. My dad didn’t grow up here, and he’s a very picky eater who is quite critical of British Indian curries. So we were all surprised when he exclaimed with pleasure and asked me the name of the restaurant that I had ordered from. We had the Lamb Naga, Lamb Phall, and tarka daal. All three were absolutely bursting with rich, savoury, spicy flavour and we will most definitely be ordering these again! The chefs deserve a medal 🏅

Northwich Tandoori are the best Indian in town! We have tried others but always come back to Northwich Tandoori. We have only ever had food delivered and they have always been on time, food is hot and delivery person very polite. Highly recommend the Chicken Passanda, Onion Bhaji, and hot and spicy paneer. Delicious! For two adults we order two starters and 2 mains and always have enough for two meals! They are very generous and reasonably priced.

Had a Lamb Passanda and a chicken Vindaloo. Food was excellent and tasty.... I thought it was just on the side of expensive as in particular the vindaloo portion was fairly small 7 pieces of chicken but a tasty sauce. I think 6.75 a pint is steep for Northwich even for a restaurant. Overall a thumbs up but there are better value options in town of equal quality.

Went here on a recommendation and the food was lovely! We had the chicken 65 and chicken korma as well as some poppadoms. The staff were very friendly and always smiling, we will definitely be back!

Best vegan Indian food in Cheshire

Amazing food, go here regularly for the vegan food, outstandingly diverse vegan options and quite frankly the best Indian food I’ve had. Tried the Tofu 65 this evening, which is now one of my favourite meals. The staff are always very pleasant and welcoming and often go here to dine with my non-vegan friends and family. Would highly recommend for all.

We had really bad experience there. Food was not as described to them. All curry are same colour and taste.

Ive had both deliveries and dined in and in fact drove a fair few miles for a takeaway also! Because the food is exceptional and the service is always quick and professional, such lovely staff. I don’t go anywhere else. They have a massive vegan menu which is I can’t find anywhere else! My mum is also coeliac but she eats meat and they have a gluten free section and list ingredients and sticker up dishes, vegan and gluten free etc. Which makes you feel so confident when ordering and eating with them! Also! The Hot and spicy tofu is insanely amazing! It’s a must try!

Best curry house in Northwich FULLSTOP - we ordered for collection, picked it up, got a phone call to say we had forgotten a naan bread, I’d had a long day, couldn’t be bothered to go back, so they dropped it off for us! Food was amazing ( as per normal) and excellent customer service 👍

Very disappointing! Ordered a delivery, thought would give another try as understood it had been taken over recently. Curry was like a thick, unstirred paste (like from a jar) and was too salty. Rice didn't appear fresh or over cooked? Mixed starter for £5, overpriced for small portion. Didn't realise until paid online & order sent through that it showed as extra £3.00 delivery as well. Won't be returning 😞 Had better & cheaper in local area x

Restaurant empty apart from one other family. No atmosphere and no staff to customer interaction. Very dated interior and poor quality furnishings. Prices extortionate when compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. Food was inedible only consolation was they did not charge me for the curry. Would not return first and last visit.

If you’re a curry lover, this is the place! Completely authentic and you can just tell they take pride in their cooking. Hands down one of the best Indian meals Iv ever eaten. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the blend of herbs and spices were unreal. Everything his home made, even down to the chutneys for the popadoms! Alongside all this the prices are very reasonable!

My sister who is a vegan was visiting us. I searched for a place with good reviews for vegan dishes. Northwich Tandoori was one with very positive reviews generally but also on it's vegan menue. The food was truly 5 star. Staff exceptionally polite. We ordered 5 or 6 dishes. Some lamb, chicken and vegan. They were all exceptional. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

Best curry takeaway we had in a very long time. Even though our mixed starter for 1 didn't materialised, the rest of our order was spot on.

Out of the blue visit, but what a good choice.Left the poppadoms this time, but went a bit wild with two starters, chilli kebab, and chicken chat.Main was the South Indian chicken korai, with keema rice and a naan.Couldn’t fault the food at all, in fact it was a fantastic mealThe service was very good, I was an early bird, so not sure what they’d be like when busy, however they were attentive and helpful, the food came out piping hot and very fresh tasting.A very pleasant meal, well worth the visit, thank you very much.

Apparently our takeaway was handed to a 'new guy'..clearly one not from the area because after two hours still no food, and a restaurant that had no answers as to where the driver was, or where our food was!Utter shambles, we won't be using this place again.

Ordered for a delivery on a busy Saturday night over the Easter weekend. Food was at my doorstep in about 40 minutes. Portions of the tandoori main meals were good. Fabulous vegan menu!! So nice to be able to choose a ‘creamy’ curry. I’m intolerant to dairy so it’s nice to know it’s safe! Top quality, so yummy. Ready quick and I got complimentary treats for Mother’s Day! We will definitely be ordering again.

Ordered mixed Rhogan Josh. . . chicken and lamb hard , lamb v salty, the smallest shrimps you’ve ever seen , no tomatoes at all and no curry sauce as such , bobbins, swerve this joint !
