The best restaurants serving British food in Winnington and Castle Cheshire West and Chester North West

Visited here yesterday Wednesday 19th February with my daughter and 2 grsndaughters. We all enjoyed our visit in this lovely tearoom. The food was delicious with plenty of choice and the owner and staff were extremely attentive. We will be back soon for afternoon tea.

Food is over rated and expensive.

Have visited Charlie’s cafe on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed the breakfast (and takeaway sandwiches). Cheap and cheerful. Unfortunately, won’t be visiting again after getting more than we asked for on our takeaway breakfast!! Instead of tomato sauce, which we asked for, we were delighted to find a bug in one sandwich and a hair in the other - gross!! Enough to put us off.

Coffee tasted good however some of the staff need to put a smile on their face , the lads were nice however the girl who was managing didnt seem like she wanted to be there. Service with a smile next time please!

Have been going to this cafe for years and have always received excellent service and food, the staff work so hard yet always manage to be friendly and have a smile for you, the food is great and really good value for money.

We tried to visit but it was chaos. Large number of staff and not many tables were taken, but the staff were either running around or standing at the tills. We were told multiple times we'd be seated or have our order taken, but no one came. The outdoor pizza place couldn't take any orders either. It didn't seem like there was any organisation. I wouldn't reccomend going to Blakemere for food. We had to leave.

Lovely afternoon at the soul and motown, really enjoyed the music and had a good time dancing. Cant wait for next month.xx

Food was cold and aporling and bad manners and the staff were not helpful at all. And they were not friendly or polite either they were just rude
