The best restaurants in Winnington and Castle Cheshire West and Chester North West

I had a dish I'd never come across before and it was absolutely delicious. I've always used the Cheshire Tandoori on Castle but whilst they are good Relish is better. Not just because of food quality, but because of unusual (to the area) dishes.

Attended Saturday night quiz. Arrived at 7:00pm. Started with a glass of red wine and Mediterranean platter followed by a to die for cheesecake( all food freshly cooked by Jason ( chef ) and the team. Wolfed the cheese cake down and realised I hadn't took a picture. Had a few more vino's during the quiz along with some banter with Jason and the regular customers. All tables were booked and nice to see a full house. Made a change to the average Saturday night and will certainly do it again. Would recommend to call in prior for some brekky or lunch to book quiz any day before or on Saturday. Quiz moved on quicker than your normal pub quiz which was great with the light banter and no typical interruptions from pub scene. Didn't win the quiz but enjoyed trying.

This unique venue in Northwich offers a large menu of items suitable for a lunch, and I selected something I had not tried previously. It had a smoked salmon topping on avocado and toast, and was absolutely delicious, tastes and flavours I had never encountered before. The staff are friendly and efficient, and I spoke to the proprietor to commend her for the high standards of food and service that the venue maintains. Highly recommended.

Lovely restaurant, very cosy and relaxed, all of our food was absolutely delicious, the desserts are heaven. The Owner/Manager is lovely, very welcoming and entertaining, which set the ambience for our dining duration. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. We will be back again. Thank you.

great value for money and they don,t skimp out on the fillings. a good choice of pie,s pasties, sandwiches, cakes and drinks all available at a very reasonable price.

Best little real ale bar in northwich, real ales changed every week ,good atmosphere, great landlady cracking little place

Ordered our food on delivery once before and was great, so thought we’d give it another go and this was the result (see pictures). Very disappointing and underwhelming. Perhaps the chef was having a bad day, but to still send this out to customers is not ok. We paid £68 and couldn’t eat it because everything was so burned it was hard as nails. Only good thing was the orange juice which they probably bought from the local Tesco. Do better.

Got 2 large chips and gravy’s absolute joke at £12 and the chips were dry as anything

A great meal before going to see the Northwich Panto. Food was fresh and hot, desserts were wicked. Staff looked after us very well. Highly recommend

poor tonight unfortunately. luke warm and very small chunks of meat in the curries and pretty greasy. shame

Always loved K2H but recent experience was terrible. Food order successfully booked but then cancelled with no warning. Relish is almost as good but much more reliable.

Excellent value good quality food and superb service.
