Excellent buffet lunch as always

We always come here for an Indian takeaway. Food is always hot and fresh, great portion sizes and the delivery is fast too! Never had a bad experience.

Went on a Sunday evening for the all you can eat buffet. Was lovely, hot and great selection. Alcoholic drinks were very reaspnably priced too. Service and was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

I ordered a keema naan and got a coconut one . a hand full of chips for £3 and everything including the madras sauce was very vinegary not nice

Have used the The Indian on many occasions and enjoyed the food. Tonight's delivery however was not great all the dishes ordered seems to lack flavour, and a garlic naan bread was missing from the order. Shame have enjoyed in the past.

I really don’t know what to say. myself and my husband had a take out meal from here what an experience the food was second to none. the flavours from dips to the food were amazing thank you guys for a meal to remember. i certainly will be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family.

I do not recommended ordering with them. I ordered over 2 hours ago and it's not here. I've kept trying to ring them up, but it just goes to answer phone.

2 hour delivery wait and food was cold

Just finished our first take away from The Indian, ordered through Uber Eats. The bhajis, aubergine bhaji, and samosa starters are beautiful. Not greasy, generous portions, I commented to my husband that they are restaurant quality.. The main, chicken tikka massala again generous portion plenty of meat and sauce! The mushroom rice is stunning. I then realised you ARE a restaurant, we will book for our next date night, thank you for a take away that blows local competition out of the water!

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the shish kebab. No taste, very bland. The chilli nan bread should have had fresh green chillies. It was stuffed with dried chillies. Inedible. Shame as the curries were lovely. You have obviously run out of fresh chillies.

Amazing food, very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. If I am in the area again, I will definitely be back.

Awful! Ordered a lamb rogan Josh, ended up with a chicken rogan Josh in a tub written up with lamb! No refund issued and no concern for the allergy problem this could’ve caused! AWFUL

Extremely good food . The buffet on Sunday is brilliant value aswel . Only thing ever had bad was dall pakora on buffet they were terrible . Stick to the aloo and chicken pakoras for buffet .

after a 2hr wait they told me the food had been delivered. sadly, it had not.. Restaurant not answering the phone either. Avoid.

The delivery wait was quite long although it was a Saturday evening, I found the lamb in the lamb biryani to be quite tough and the meal arrived lukewarm - taste wise it tasted good however the meat was extremely chewy

Over the last sixteen years, my friends and I have been coming to this restaurant for the Sunday buffet and on occasion, an á la carte meal. It has changed staff and management over the years and has usually been a good experience hence our regular visits. The staff working there now however, have taken it to new heights. They're always polite, welcoming and extremely efficient. They have realised their customers favourites and make sure they're always available at the buffet, whilst at the same time adding some tweaks and 'guest' additions occasionally to keep things varied. My personal recommendation is the Bengal Fry starter (chicken fried off in a sweet yet addictively spicy sauce, unlike anything I've ever had elsewhere), and the Duck Xacouti, lamb Podina Gosht and Chicken Chilli Fry are among my favourite mains. There's something for everyone here and once you visit, I can almost guarantee you'll be back.

Had a fantastic meal last night. Group of 6. The food was amazing. Even my teenager who manages to moan about everything was very very happy.

The kids burger was shameful, the bun was stale on top and soggy. the beef patty was dry and overcooked. Ordered a Chicken burger though, so not sure why beef one was delivered. Really poor effort on the kids order. The rest was OK, won't order through this establishment again though.

food took two hours. also the food isn't consistent taste like it used to be the garlic butter chicken tastes different now.

Had some really nice takeaways delivered up to little leigh. Home made samosas and real, rich balti sauce. Makes a nice change

Been there loads. Never been let down. Highly recommend my the biryani. Went tonight and ask the bar man/waiter for a recommendation, he said try the chicken kori with onion rice. I did it was spot on. So thanks to him.

We arrived at 7pm on Sunday for buffet. But a lot of food trays are empty, we had asked the staff to refill the food but they didn’t. We had asked twice for the lettuce ，but only a tiny portion refilled. After a while we asked about the closing time and been told that the buffet was closed at 7pm but we were not be informed in the beginning which was disappointed.

The food was amazing as ever. Delivery took quite a while though. Guess it was a busy Friday night.

Ordered a pick, up lady on reception was lovely shame about the GENT that past me my order, to get it home and discover only a simple mistake they had made on dips, i rang through to be told i could go bk for them, or MAYBE they might be dilivered. Tucking into my main wooooow, spicy butter rubbery chicken, went in the bin will be goin to bombay quay from now on

We have ordered/eaten at the indian a few times but this time was a disappontment. We were missing 2 drinks to start with. The standard of the food was significantly lower than the times we have eaten in/had takeaway before (boyfriend ordered previously.) The garlic chilli chicken was devoid of both garlic and chilli we have had this dish before and enjoyed it. The mixed starter had lamb in it in which the texture resembled a limp damp old leather shoe overall shocking

Food came stone cold and really disappointing as we like the restaurant but it was a joke how freezing it was. We were starving so tried to eat a bit of it but really it shouldn’t be turning up as cold as this. Shocking

The best restaurant I have been to for curries, the service was excellent, the waiter/owner was so obliging. We will be recommending this place to everyone.

Unfortunately food was very oily and not that tasty. Enjoyed my meal eating in a few weeks ago but will not order takeaway again. Literally spooned the oil off the top of my curry and the rest will be binned now

Food was not hot, delivery driver lied and said he had tried to deliver early but no answer. At no point did anyone ring the bell earlier.

Starter tasted like it had been in the microwave, and the curry was the most greasy meal I've ever had. Not enjoyable in the slightest.

By the time the food arrived it was stone cold. We ordered poppadoms and chutneys, and would have eaten these whilst warming up the rest, but the poppadoms were missing, so we had chutneys and nothing to go with it, and stone cold food. The driver twice said he was late because he was driving slow as it was raining, but it was August drizzle not a downpour, and it took over 2 hours to receive the food from point of order. Ridiculous, it was 10pm when it arrived....too late, not complete, and cold.

Food made me really ill for three days .Indian is my favourite dish but will never order from these food poisoning amatures ever again. Ruined me weekend and had the cheek to charge me 40 quid lol. don't do it

Not the best to be honest. Bought 2 curry’s and a starter - Spent over £30 and was expecting better quality. Food wasn’t the freshest, perhaps because it was a Sunday.

Excellent delivery service but the food very disappointing, too much sugar in the dishes. Lamb Chops were not Tandoori and very tough

The scampi were revolting and there was an error with the order - it was a meal for Father's day and Dad didn't get the correct meal ordered. It was a shame as we have had lovely meals here before.

Worst Indian I've ever had. Got the set meal for 2. Tasteless, sauces had split. Potatoes stone cold tasting of water. Honestly would rather have had a ready meal from Tesco. Very disappointed.

A Sunday buffet so bountiful, it forced me into a sleep coma at home for many hours! Delicious, and great that they have draught beer. I recommend this place.

Forgot half of it. Really late. Had to go and meet the delivery driver. Food was cold. Entire meal was dripping with oil. Absolutely awful.

Disappointed with the food. The chicken in the curry was an unusual texture which wasn't good. The tandoori meal arrived without salad and lamb chop had a word with the waiter brought out salad but a wait of 15 mins before chops arrived (they gave us an extra one to make up for their mistake) They were very greasy chewy and inedible. The meat in the tandoori meal was tasteless and extremely tough. The place was empty by 9.20 on a Saturday night. Needless to say we paid and left will not be returning
