The best restaurants in Winnington and Castle Cheshire West and Chester North West

This unique venue in Northwich offers a large menu of items suitable for a lunch, and I selected something I had not tried previously. It had a smoked salmon topping on avocado and toast, and was absolutely delicious, tastes and flavours I had never encountered before. The staff are friendly and efficient, and I spoke to the proprietor to commend her for the high standards of food and service that the venue maintains. Highly recommended.

I want to give a shout out to THE best cafe spot in Northwich (/Cheshire!). One of many visits again this afternoon and it's always such a pleasure. The staff are so friendly (my toddler loves all the attention!), they get the mochas spot on (for a bargain £) and it's just a great space to take a break - whether it's for catch-up brews or full on lunch dates.

Great little bar in town. I would love to be a regular but I live out of town and the opening hours are after I have left Northwich. I use to work there and they have a great team and selection of drinks it’s dog friendly bar so ticks all the boxes for me. Ellis & Alison are really hands on owners that support the business well. For a young lad joe manages the bar and team extremely well. Will definitely drop in for a drink and catch up soon the sister pub the bullring nw is also a fabulous addition the bar.

Amazing. Lovely tea room. Attentive staff who supplied endless tea! Sandwiches and scones delicious. Upstairs too with items for sale and other bits and bobs. Couldn't manage the stairs to look but will do so next time. Absolutely loved my 1st AT experience.

Slightly expensive & they forgot to put alcohol in our cocktails. But did correct the error.

Had a late lunch with a friend and the food was delicious!

Usually love the food but had a really bad experience with a delivery. Waited 2 hours for the food, received no communication from the takeaway that it was going to be so late or the reason for it. When I called they just said it was busy and told me it would be 10 minutes. They also ensured me the food wouldn't be cold. Took another 25 minutes to arrive and surprise surprise.... it was cold. They're refusing a refund. I spent a lot of money on that order to receive cold and mediocre food way later than expected.

Excellent service from warm friendly waiters in a very comfortable calm environment. We will certainly go again. Well done everyone.

Takaway - Starter, prawn chat was very salty. Naan was dry and crumbly obviously not fresh. Currys were Luke warm and not very spicy. Had much better takeaways from here before. Disappointed today
