The best restaurants in Dane Valley Cheshire East North West

I wanted to leave a review as I couldn’t believe there was even one bad review on here! Really delicious breakfast and great service, we had the steak rosti, which was cooked to perfection with a perfect runny egg! It’s great that there are a few different breakfast options on there, which typically you don’t get in other places. We even overheard someone saying “it was the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had” as they were leaving, so I know what I’ll be getting next time :)

Well, what can l say, warm welcome, excellent service and really good food. Thoroughly enjoyed it, will definitely return on my next visit.

As soon as you walk in you get a warm welcome, great atmosphere, and the cocktails are great lots of different choices. I will definitely be back to try the food and more cocktails.

Had a wonderful meal for two tonight at Don Alberto in Holmes Chapel. We’ve passed many times driving home & finally dropped in. What a fantastic surprise - Lovely interior & ambiance. Well set out with good spacing between tables. Kieron announced he was looking after us. We had a seafood linguini & chicken carbonara mains. We arrived quite late - only an hour before closing but the guys were great & all the food was beautifully cooked, so compliments to the chef. On Kieron’s recommendation I’d sampled their own micro brewery Don Alberto lager & again all good. Pristine white cloth napkins was also a big tick. Kieron looked after us really well. Nothing too much trouble. He even gave us the details of the restaurants Spotify background music. When U drop in on a place & it’s this good it makes the evening. It’s a great little find for us & we should’ve called in years ago.

Absolutely one of the best businesses to arrive in Holmes Chapel. Offering sweet and savoury options in a fab, hip environment. Suitable for meeting friends, spending time with the family or just popping in to grab an ice cream. The owners are lovely and always take the time to get to know their customers. The staff are friendly and again get to know their customers likes and dislikes. Always a friendly welcome and enjoy visiting on a regular basis

¡Algo de la comida era excepcional! ¡Algunos eran pobres! El servicio era amateur, algunas damas de las comidas escolares. Nos ofrecieron una mesa diminuta para dos, a lo que me negué. Entonces me ofrecieron una mesa de tamaño razonable con un mantel. El personal estaba desinteresado en nuestra orden apertif y a £ 30 para dos hubiera esperado un mejor servicio. El menú carecía de carne y un Filet Minion de 6 onzas a más de 22 libras probablemente necesitaría una lupa. El servicio del vino era débil, las damas no parecían saber lo que estaban haciendo. ¡La idea de beber vino con el entrante de salmón ahumado se consideró extraña! ¡Gambas reales! ¡Del tamaño de mi pulgar! ¿Alguna vez han estado en Tailandia? Las patatas dauphinoise parecían sin cocinar y dejé las mías en paz. Tan cerca de ser excelente, entrena al personal que espera y puede que reciban un gourmand Bib!

Un maravilloso salón de té. Pedimos, por adelantado, cena de cordero asado. Fue muy, muy bueno de hecho. La zona es pequeña , sin embargo la muy buena comida y el personal muy acogedor lo compensan. Los pasteles se ven divinos y saben deliciosos. Sentí que nada era demasiado pedir, ya que el personal es tan amable. Una verdadera joya local.

First time visiting the Space Invader today. Arranged a birthday lunch for a family birthday/Mothers Day celebration. Have to say we were so impressed with the venue, food and staff! Everyone said how friendly and efficient they were. Meals were delicious and served promptly (pre-ordered). We will definitely be back here again!

My first ever review on here ! I don’t normally write reviews but this little gem of a place needs a mention! Lovely warm welcome by the owner and her small team, met with proper coffee and a superb lunch - I had Welsh rarebit and my friend had the poached eggs on toast - both done to perfection! I don’t even like coleslaw, but decided to try it after my friend said how nice it is - it didn’t disappoint, you can tell it’s all freshly made by the big give away of them making everything in front of you fresh to order. We took home some scones and tray bakes for our families- they went down an absolute treat! Apologies for the gushing first post, but when you find somewhere that’s as welcoming, and great food, you want to support them, especially with it being an independent business.

Normalmente no escribo una crítica en medio de comerlo pero woohoo el desayuno vegano es increíble!! y he comido mucho en mi tiempo. Champiñones, tomate asado, frijoles, masa madre, salchichas, hachís morenos y el shakshuka más sabroso (menos huevos obvs). Estos tipos tienen textura y sabor hasta un buen arte. Este servicio es genial también. Limpio, perfecto... Bravo Village Kitchen, volveré de nuevo seguro. Yum.

First time here on Mother’s Day , lovely staff , great food and deserts .. staff were really accommodating with us with a pushchair and made us feel very welcome with our 3 month old . Some reviews on overpricing , I thought was reasonable considering it’s all fresh and local produce . Thankyou will be coming again and recommended .

Good car park spaces, but litter picking in the car park wouldn’t take a lot of effort. Clean bed room & bathroom.The pressure in the shower and bath taps was amazing. The food in the restaurant couldn’t be faulted particularly as I’m gluten free. However being charged £4.50 for some milk inside a tiny flask wasn’t acceptable when the room supplies are tiny. Dog charges are £10 per night. Don’t let the reviews dissuade you from visiting for food though.

I can not express my appreciation enough for the service that we received on Thursday here at the Red Lion. I came with my sister and 85 year old mum, who is partially sighted and not the most confident of people when she’s out. But she and us were made to feel incredibly welcome, nothing was to much trouble, we were waited on hand and foot, in fact the barman even remembered what mum and I had last time. I had the breakfast, my sister had a cheese melt and mum had a small portion of chips and fish fingers.And they even brought a separate plate with a couple of strips of bacon for Elvis, yes, Elvis the Chahauhau. The food was fabulous, the environment was comfortable and warm, thanks to the open fire next to us. Mum, who is not the most stable and can’t come out without her pet push chair with Elvis in has so ice been in on her own, she called on for a coffee a while on her morning walk to the shop. That might not seem much to most, but for my mum, that’s a massive achievement and the staff were fabulous with her, made her feel incredibly at ease. She now feels confident that she can call in on her own, it’s given her something to look forward too, and that’s thanks to the Staff and management at the Lion. Tomé un filete de costillas. El costo fue de £ 32. Esto vino con unas patatas fritas, 2 hongos y un tomate. Sentí que esto es bastante caro para lo que es. El filete estaba bien, pero no vale 32 libras. Tampoco me di cuenta de que había pagado por un cargo de servicio. El personal era amable, pero no diría que el servicio era increíble. Estaremos comiendo en otro lugar para el resto de nuestra estancia. El hotel está bien, habitación limpia, etc.
