Rooms are nice and housekeeping keep them lovely and clean, beyond the main entrance the hotel is a bit run down in places. The leisure facilities are a nice bonus. The restaurant has nice staff but the drinks prices are ridiculously expensive, a large Malbec is £15 here but you can buy the same for £9 in the pub half a mile away. The food is quite nice but pricey.

My go-to hotel in the area. Comfortable, spacious, good parking, good wifi, cheerful helpful staff. The food's Ok. The classy feel is not reflected in the beverages dept. If I remember, I bring my own beer (very dull selection in the bar). and wine (they want £29 for a very mediocre £7 Brakes Bros tempranillo)

We stayed over for my friends birthday. It was booked quite last minute but the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The toiletries in the bathroom were lovely, room was super clean. Beds were so comfy and the room was large. The hotel was really quiet, no noise disturbance. Plenty of parking, beautiful grounds. Customer service was lovely and spa facilities were nice. And the breakfast was delicious! The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that the hotel is quite traditional in style and the bathroom could do with modernising - however for the price in this location, and considering everything else, I'll be returning!

The rooms were freezing. I had black hair on my duvet and I don’t have black hair, there was no heating in the bathroom and lights weren’t working, and there was brown dirt in the corners of the bathroom floor. The shower was Luke warm and there was not ventilation. Reception was not interested in gaining any feedback and was almost dismissive. We had a group dinner and we actually had blankets handed out the room we had been allocated was so cold. The food was just reheated. All in all a great shame. Not one of De Veres best hotels, and probably one of the worst I have stayed in.

Very poor bar/ brasserie meal. The Restaurant was empty. The waitresses that welcomed us in were lovely. Initially we were ushered towards a corporate buffet (not the best) and advised to “get in first before the others arrive”. This was not what we had booked. The Manageress didn’t seem to know of a bar menu which I had referenced online the day before. We were then shown into the brasserie. Initially we were both made to feel awkward and a nuisance. The steak sandwich was inedible as it was so tough. I had scampi which was soggy and barely warm. We weren’t charged for the meal needless to say.

A very busy evening with 2 parallel events. Women of the UK and our Christmas Party. The other event took over the venue, with photographers and lounge roped off. This was a last minute booking and Amy was fantastic in arranging it all in a professional and timely manner. Thank you. The service was impeccable but the biggest let down was the Main course, what can go wrong with a traditional Turkey dinner! Anaemic roast potatoes, Turkey Roll with bullet hard stuffing, which I had to send back to the kitchen.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff are superb& cannot do enough for you! The food is amazing. Buffet style breakfast with everything you can imagine available. Beautiful buffet style lunch with lots of choice & off the menu dinner. I was celebrating a birthday on my last visit & although I was working it turned out to be a brilliant day. The staff really made a huge effort with a Prosecco gift a card signed by all the staff & a birthday cake to finish off a beautiful meal. They really did make it special. I having been coming to Cranage for over 12 months & have only positive comments to make about the hotel.

Stayed at de vere cranage for our wedding anniversary, to start with we had to walk through a wedding reception to get to our room ( which we had to walk through several times to leave the hotel ) , The room was unclean (not be hoovered ) very very sparse ( no pictures on walls ) it had a double bed , TV , side unit for kettle etc and a chair , the ceiling in the bathroom the paint was peeling a hole in the wall , dead flies , broken lamp and the extraction fan made a squeaky noise constantly, I have contacted Booking.com but haven’t received an answer Total let down as from the outside the building is beautiful

A Wednesday in July, but very few diners and no atmosphere. Adequate food, but really pub grub at restaurant prices. But the staff, oh the staff! They all flunked the training course. “There you go.” Sorry about the delay” “what drinks can I getcha?” Nice people, but hopeless. Our second course arrived one and a half hours after sitting down.

The only reason I gave a 4 is that the Hotel is really concentrating on conference Centre needs and as such expect large groups who attend training courses or presentations etc. If this does not bother you, which I was aware of before I booked and did not bother me then this is a brilliant place. Ok the rooms are off to the side and not at the elegant building and there is quite a walk (all inside along corridors). But I needed the walk to let the food settle from the excellent restaurant, Sunday Buffet Dinner was amazing. Breakfast was good, not the amazing of years ago at DeVere Hotels but still very good. So far not a great review but I wanted a comfortable clean room and service. This is where they excelled themselves. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating, nothing was a problem. Bearing in mind all the issues of Covid and the affect on the Leisure industry and more importantly the affect on staff the staff at Cranage were excellent. Then the room, a superior double, I was a bit cynical when I booked, how wrong I was. A massive and comfortable bed, loads of room and the shower was brilliant, spacious and good pressure. The room alone was worth the money but add the breakfast and the service in on the price this is a winner. I was looking at using a Premier Inn but couldn’t find anything as cheap as this and this included breakfast and service.

I was looking forward to a nice meal that I hadn’t had to cook myself. I have never had a meal so bad I refused to pay for it and I’m not that young! COVID was used as the excuse but if you have an open restaurant you should serve edible food regardless. Serving and reception staff were great but it make up for going hungry as there are no other food options without driving.

Stayed here for a relaxing escape from the lousy weather last week and have to say was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived staff were welcoming and friendly. I have stayed here before on a conference and was hoping it was still as nice and pleased to say it was. Beautiful contemporary surroundings, plush sofas and welcoming fires in the public areas. Lovely jacuzzi and steam room and at last a decent sized hotel pool. The restaurant was spacious and the food delicious and hot with lots of choice. The complimentary wine tasting with "Charlie", prior to our meal was an added bonus. Although not the largest room I've ever stayed in, it had everything I needed for an overnight stay and the beds were incredibly comfy and I slept like a dream despite the battering rain outside. Will definitely be returning in the near future as it really is a gem. Thank you to everyone for a lovely break.

I came here for a university work shop. The grounds of the hotel are lovely. Check in was really efficient and I was directed to the conference room which I found easily. Pastries and tea and coffee was available throughout the day. Lunch was a buffet with plenty of choice. The evening meal was ok the beef brisket was a bit dry. The wine is shockingly bad considering they charge £9 a glass. Breakfast in the morning was really nice. The room was clean and spacious good pressure in the shower had everything I needed. The gym is nice however the pool area isn’t the best. The jacuzzi water looked a bit dirty if honest. There is a sauna and a steam room

I can not recommend Cranage Hall enough. From the minute I rang the reception to enquire about organising a special request of Afternoon Tea for my parents as a gift the staff we so helpful. Rachel the events manage rang me straight back and had remembered that my husband and I had got married at the Hall in 2013, she also remembered my parents (who the surprise was for). Even though they do not offer Afternoon Tea, Rachel worked hard to create the perfect Afternoon Tea for my parents (who actually met at the hall when it used to be a training college for Nurses). This venue has a very special place in our hearts and it was important to our family that we could provide something above and beyond to our parents. Rachel did exactly that, she went above and beyond, working with the chef who created exquisite sandwiches and cakes, taking into account my parents dietary needs and providing the most tasty of treats. All the staff who ensured they were never left with an empty tea cup/the special note and card when they arrived, the fire lit and area set out especially for them meant that they had a truly memorable experience. I would personally like to say a massive thank you to all the team at Carnage Hall for listening to our ideas and then planning and executing them so perfectly. You have made my parents so happy to have shared something special where they first met, THANK YOU

Reception was good and gave clear directions on how to find the room. The room was a good size but there were a couple of issues. The door needs easing as we had to put a shoulder to open. The controls for the shower need repairing/ replacing, there is no temperature indication and it was difficult to set the temperature, my wife also found it hard to turn the water off. I used the pool and spa facilities which were good. We were there for a Charity Ball and the food was good. Breakfast was a good buffet and very enjoyable with loads of choice. We have eaten here on two occasions and the food is tasty but the choice is limited. On both occasions my husband has had the calamari to start and it was different each time, on our latest visit in August the portion size was smaller compared to when we visited a few months previous. The main courses were overly fancy but not appealing, the chicken breast which I was considering was served with mediterranean vegetables which didn't appeal to me so I ended up choosing the Gourmet Burger which was delicious as it was served on a pretzel bun which I felt was a little bit different and the chips were delicious. For dessert I opted for sticky toffee pudding which was really tasty and I enjoyed every mouthful. The freshly sliced fruit that my husband opted for was a piece of pineapple, melon and orange, not a great portion but a lighter dessert alternative that was served with a sorbet. We were provided with water for the table but this tasted very like tap water and wasn't too enjoyable. The staff were pleasant but less attentive. We didn't get asked if our meal was ok and if everything was ok until we had finished our meal and wanted the bill at the end.

Approaching Carnage Hall it seems as if you're arriving at a country house hotel but once you step inside it all becomes rather character less. Most of the hotel is a modern extension. Our room was large but lacked comfort. A standard double where a king size could easily have fitted, only one bedside lamp, the kettle placed where there was no plug and a bathroom door that didn't close. On the positive side the staff in the restaurant were extremely polite and efficient and the breakfast buffet was excellent but this would not be enough to make me return.

Staff were very welcoming and all were very pleasant and courteous. There is a good atmosphere as staff seem very happy to be at work. Meals were delicious and piping hot, extensive breakfast choice - something for everyone. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom had over-bath shower but was a quality make and so showering was really efficient. Only thing missing is air conditioning as when sleeping with the window open meant that noise from the bar could be heard, but this stopped around 11.30pm. Rooms are a long way from reception so there is quite a walk but wheelchairs are available for less mobile. We used the pool, jacuzzi and steam room. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable with good WiFi access. Breakfasts are superb, but after that the standard of food plummets. I ordered the PeriPeri chicken on my first night and was served an over cooked plain chicken breast. The food isn’t awful but it isn’t great either. Bar prices are extortionate, charging £7.80 for a not so large very ordinary house red certainly curtails any desire to buy a round!

We waited outside and after a few minutes a waiter appeared. He was apologetic and said the restaurant wasn't open that evening but we could choose from the restaurant menu and sit in the bar area. We visited Cranage Hall, for a Sunday lunchtime meal. It was about 2pm, so the bar restaurant was pretty empty. We ordered drinks and was given a bar meal menu. I chose the fish and chip option and my wife had the vegetable curry. The meals took quite a while to arrive, and when they did, they were pretty poor. The curry that my wife had, was pretty bland, a lot of rice and potato and not much else. My fish and chip option was a little better, but could have been hotter, and certainly not worth £16 . So we decided to sample the dessert menu. My wife decided on the chocolate brownie meal, whilst I had the cheese board. My wife’s meal arrived which consisted of a few chocolate brownie cubes, a spoonful of cheap popcorn and a spoonful of cheap ice cream. The brownies were stale, so much so you could hear them crunch when with great effort she tried to break them with her spoon. This meal was not good, and again not worth the £7 charge. My cheese board selection didn’t fair much better, stale crackers, rock hard celery. A small dish of butter would have improved the state of the crackers, again not worth the £8 charge. At no time were we asked if the meal was Ok. Would I go back to Cranage Hall again, sorry NO

We stayed from Friday until Monday, despite there being at least 4 weddings on during this time and numerous other functions, it did not affect us at all. The hotel and conference centre is plenty big enough for everyone and seemed to be well staffed. We did not have to wait to be served anywhere more than a few minutes. The old part of the Hotel was full of charm and Character, the newer part that has since been built on, where our bedroom was. That was all modern, as was the bedroom and bathroom. The room was lovely and clean. There was a comfortable bar area downstairs . The Restaurant was lovely very comfortable, the food was delicious, though not a great choice for evening meal. breakfast was self service and plenty of choice. Restaurant and bar over looked terrace/patio area and some of the ground which was very nice, and was open when we were there because the weather was so warm. We visited end of June and stayed into July and I couldn,t say one bad thing about this hotel, we enjoyed everything from driving up the drive and seeing those lovely ground to our first glimpse of the Hall to driving back down again.

We visited on 25th Sunday and enjoyed a pleasurable day at the HiFi exhibition, this was complimented by the excellent addition of the hotel staff, providing Bucks Fizz on reception and in addition for the guys bacon baps plus coffee at easy on the pocket prices.Come lunchtime we met with the Manager Tony who was very helpful and guided us to the Hog Roast and yet again pocket priced and very tasty.Thank you Tony for making the the day even better and we will be visiting again to eat outside in the excellent restaurant area designated outside complete with the heaters and excellent seating. A+

The hotel was beautiful, the staff were lovely. The guy organising all the wedding was excellent when my little boy started crying during the service. This hotel could of easily got a 5 star rating from me if it hadn't been for 2 things.1. The price of soft drinks. £3.50 for a lemonade? When my friend asked why it was so expensive the member of staff said it was because wedding parties usually bring their own spirits. Well that's great except myself and my little boy don't drink alcohol so we are being charged over the odds because other people bring their own spirits?2. As the room cost £95 we decided to make the most of our stay and go for a swim after checking out. When we arrived at the pool we were told children weren't allowed on weekdays. If we had known this we would have had showers before checking out and planned something else with our day.Instead it meant we couldn't have showers and therefore couldn't plan anything else with our day and drive home in sticky 30 degree heat.I understand that you want your pool to be relaxing for other guests but the other guests using the pool today were our friends from the wedding. We paid the same price for a room but we were excluded from the facilities. The guy at reception said you have kids times on the weekends, I think maybe you should consider having this every day, even if it's only for an hour around check in/out.I also think you need to be telling families on check in that they will not be allowed to use the pool.

We've stayed here before and it has been good but we were here again on Good Friday. The good...the hotel, reasonably priced executive suite, facilities, reception and breakfast staff (Especially Susie Bass) Susie is a credit to the hotel and chain in our opinion, she made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The bad… this would've been a five stars from us however the bar in my opinion let it down and one of the staff named Zoe in my opinion did not know how to serve drinks and was rather abrupt. Other people had also mentioned it!!Hopefully by the time we come again, we hope he bar issue would have been addressed.

Staff need training to understand how to operate a public service and management need to think about the balance of power. As a customer, I expect a level of service, which is not cheap at Cranage Hall and I refuse to be spoken to from a spotty jumped-up teenager as I was last night.I will not be going back, I prefer to spend my money where I get some value.Apologies to everybody else working there sho gave great service, but this one chap has really tipped the balance against you.

We biked this break via Super breaks on the Trivago search site.On arrival we were met by a very friendly helpful receptionists , as we had pre booked and paid in advance , it only took minutes . We were then given our room number and door key card. Our room was clean and tidy, the bed was also comfy, the hotel prides themselves on their rooms. Also provided were bedroom slippers and towel gowns in case you wanted to use the spa facilities As we had pre booked our evening meal we decided to sit outside in the sun in the the outdoor restaurant. Again the staff were more than helpful taking our drinks orders etc.The evening meal was in the hotel restaurant, they provided a full menu along with a "Chef's special menu" the waiter even asked if we had any special needs re the meals (vegetarians etc) as they had further menus of required. Our meal orders , starters and main courses were taken along with our drink orders. All the meals arrived well cooked, along with the drink orders. We could not fault the meals. After a good nights sleep we made our way to the restaurant for breakfast, which was a buffet style , we were spoilt for choice from a cold continental style breakfast. Up to a full English breakfast, they even had porridge for those who wanted it. This is our fourth break at this hotel and each time we could not fault it in any way. I will recommend this hotel to family, friends and colleagues, and we hope to return later this year for another break.

Good range of food available on the buffet, but it was a bit average. Fragrant rice that had no fragrance and a Thai curry that was just a stew being examples. The custard sauce with the crumble was thin and tasted of nothing but sugar and cornflour. It might have been shown some vanilla essence - maybe.

My wife and myself recently attended a Murder Mystery Event at the hotel. I have written this review with reference to the hotel staging the event. The Hotel is located in its own grounds near to Holmes Chapel. First impressions were the building was not very inspiring, loosing a lot of its character with the modern build attached to it. Grounds were pleasing but not very "scenic". Parking was adequate, though in our case, a fair distance from the hotel reception for carrying any baggage. However on entering the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. Firstly the hotel was very clean, lounge accommodation was good with free hot drinks being available. The hotel is set up for conference and training with many side rooms for discussion groups. One such room being utilized by the murder mystery group as the incident room. The hotel had a gym and an indoor pool along with a jacuzzi. The pool was unattended, this being detailed, so would warrant parent supervision for children. Towel and locker key were available at the pool changing room. I would recommend a swim, the water being an ideal temperature. Our bedroom was in the modern wing, spacious and had a comfortable bed. Shower facilities were first class. An iron and ironing board was provided. The television was a flat screen with freeview channels. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the bedroom and there was free Wifi. For our meals we has a choice of two main courses along with a vegetarian option. In addition there was a starter and desert. Often with large groups, meals tend to be bland and poorly cooked, however you could not fault any of the courses, they were excellent . Breakfast was self serve with a first rate choices. In conclusion, the hotel provided first class accommodation for the Murder Mystery weekend which in itself was wonderfully organised and first class entertainment.

Booked this place as a surprise night away and on the spur of the moment. Spoke to the reecptionist on the phone and five minutes later was booked in for dinner, bed and breakfast. Arrived at the hotel and it looks great - very striking facade. The reception area is good too - all part of the old building. Our room was in the new section and to get to it you need to walk through the conference facilities which makes the stay feel too much like a business stop-over. Got in the room and first thing we find is a pair of old underpants on the floor next to the bed - I kid you not! Complained to the receptionist and she apologised and asked if we'd like a bottle of wine. We said yes, red please. After spending some time in the pool and the sauna went back to the room to find a bottle of white. Went back and got it changed... The food at dinner was fine. Not brilliant but acceptable. The service however was terrible. Ignored for fifteen minutes when we got in, ordered drinks which came way after the starters arrived. After the main course we wer ignored for another twenty minutes, then got a dessert menu and twenty minutes later actuallly ordered dessert. The staff tried hard but it was plain they needed training. In general a poor dining experience. Upon checking out the next day I noticed £10 had been added to the dining bill. When I queried it, I was told it had been taken off again. When I asked what it was for, I was told it was added on because I'd had two courses at dinner. If my stay had been paid by credit card, I wouldnt have noticed it. There's a possibility that this could be added to many other people's invoices - might not be but worth checking the bill. We did get to think of it as Carnage Hall while we were there - in general a poor experience.

I had a work conference booked at this hotel. It's location is absolutely beautiful; the grounds are lovely and the view from my room was across a gorgeous empty field. The Conference facilities were good; the room was large and had multiple windows and a door to a patio. Breakfast and lunch buffets were quite large with multiple dishes, but it's a lot of curry, curry, curry. My room was in the 250s. That means it's on the main floor, but it's practically as far away from the lobby as you can get. Down a hall, around a corner, down a hall, around a corner... If you have difficulty walking, make sure you ask for a room close to Reception. The room was bland. It was carpeted, but there was some sort of issue with the cement floor; it wasn't poured flat and it hadn't been ground down, so the floor was uneven???? The window was large, it opened, and the curtains were great at blocking out light. But the bed was mediocre, the decoration was old, and the bathroom was simply adequate. I was really blown away as I walked up to the hotel, as it has a ton of charm. However, the room was more reminiscent of a Days Inn than a quality establishment.

Stayed one night at the hotel whilst attending a friends wedding. Staff were very friendly. Room was a deluxe and everything in room was great. Plasma TV, huge bed, great shower and complimentary chocolates, a bottle of beer and bottled water. Beer at the bar wasn't cheap but not extortionate and for a hotel of this kind was reasonable.Breakfast is buffet style. Lots of choice, hot and tasty. Breakfast is served at weekend from 07.30 to 11.00 so good for a lie in.An enjoyable night.

Last visit to Cranage Hall was October 2015 & place was still as good as last time. We were told by our company to book in around 2:30 but as we arrived hour earlier, we thought we'd see if rooms were ready. Out of our party of 3, only 1 room was ready so we just left our cases in the 1 room until our rooms were ready about half hour later. Nice size room, very clean & best bit was the thick blackout curtain, I usually wake up as soon as it's light. Tea & coffee in a tray under the tv with a packet with 2 cookies in, nice little extra touch I thought. The only bad thing I can say about bathroom, need to change the shower curtain to a glass door or something as when I had a shower, the curtain kept sticking to me. Our conference was held in 1 of the large rooms, just the right size for nearly 300 people. Bar is downstairs so once conference was over, we had some free time before the evening do, majority of people went there as there's a pool table, tv & plenty of seats. Boss gutted as tv didn't have sky sports & he wanted to watch the Villa game. The evening do was held in the same room, tomato soup with croutons to start, beef with mash potato & veg for the main meal with Eton mess for dessert. Food was outstanding yet again. Breakfast is a fantastic choice between cereal, fresh fruit, toast, cooked breakfast, plenty of tea or coffee brought to your table too. I had the cooked breakfast, bacon, sausage, beans, black pudding, hash brown & scrambled egg. I wasn't too fussed on the hash brown or scrambled egg but the rest was very nice, especially the sausage as I opted for Cumberland, my favourite. Look forward to our next conference there. My last note, the bar is very expensive as I paid nearly £15 for 2 pints of lager & a bottle of cidre. Only glad our evening do had a free bar!!

Arrived to a very welcoming venue and thought the night was going to be a huge success. The bar was woefully understaffed, 20+ minutes for a drink- get real. No one called us through for our meal that was supposed to be 19:30 and when we asked we were told we were too late for our starters!!! That issue was eventually rectified but should have never happened. The meal was ok for mass catering but not what I was expecting for £50+ per head. The table was extremely small for 12 people that had booked in September and we struggled to eat properly, again not what was envisaged. On the plus side the band were very good and pushed the night to a positive overall. One major downside, take out a remortgage to pay for your drinks you will need it!!!!!

We were attending a New Year's Eve event and staying overnight. Our room was warm and comfortable with plenty of hot water. The buffet we had for our evening meal was a shambles with people queueing in a small area to get their food. There were so many people that some were queueing for their main meal before others had got their starters. Items of food that had run out were not being replaced quickly enough and they even ran out of prawns altogether. The breakfast buffet worked well because people were arriving at different times. The staff were all friendly and helpful. This was our second year of buffet chaos, I don't think we'll try it again although the rest of the evening was very enjoyable.

We stayed here for the Band Night on Saturday 17th December and treated ourselves to a deluxe room. The drive down to the main building is stunning and the christmas decorations and red carpert into reception made it feel very special. Our room had obviously recently been refurbished to a good standard and it was spotlessly clean, we were provided with bathrobes, slippers, complimentary bottled water, a bottle of ale and chocolates :0). The bathroom was modern and had a good powerful shower. What did surprise me is that our room overlooked the car park area and other rooms and on a previous stay in a standard room we overlooked fields. I thought we would have had a nicer view for the price we paid. The breakfast was a self serve buffet with fruit, yogurt, cheese and meats or full fry up so there should be something for everyone. I'm not a fan of the toasting machine as the toast came out more like warm bread despite it being on a high setting but I didn't like putting it through again as other people were waiting. It would be nice to be able to order your choice of toast at the same time as ordering tea or coffee. Now a few niggles: Our bed looked huge but we then realised it was the dreaded two singles pushed together topped with a zipped mattress. You could feel the zip through the bottom sheet (which was too small for the bed) so it would have made sense to have a thick mattress topper or have a slightly smaller bed with a full mattress. I thought there might have been a small fridge in the room to keep a bottle of water in or at least ice machines in the corridors which many hotels now provide. The doors!!! What a noise. All night people who had been to parties were coming in and out, we had also been to one of the parties but bearing in mind it was late when we got back to our room we quietly closed the door, however if you let them go they close with a loud bang and this was happening until the early hours of the morning. I know fire regulations mean these doors have to be heavy but this is the worst I've heard and have never been kept awake before. Sound insulation or lack of it! I could hear every word our neighbours were saying and they weren't even shouting. And the room above, well let's just say somebody was having a very merry Christmas after the party! Despite the above these are only niggles and the two latter points could be resolved by wearing earplugs. I would stay again and would be happy to book a standard or superior room if they have also been refurbished.

There is a spa and gym which is nice.Food is good as are all the staff, the beers are all keg apart from one pump, the biggest let down is the wine, it is just so expensive, one fails to understand why.The offer they give are very good value for money, we drink in a nice pub just outside.

Stayed on business on a Monday night. This hotel is beautiful. The swimming pool and gym is top notch. The chap who ran the leisure centre reception was extremely helpful and made the stay more enjoyable. I even took part in a boxercise class which I really enjoyed. The tempus restaurant did not open till 7pm so I ate in the bar. £3.50 for a glass of watered down coke was disappointing and the two gents behind the bar were not very friendly. But the rest of my stay made up for it. Amazing breakfast. Will go back!

For a "posh hotels" restaurant, service, menu choice, and food quality was surprisingly poor, not just once, but across the 3 consecutive nights our group ate their, poor selection on menu, service was abysmal, and food quality/taste and portion size below average. On one of the nights, one of the young lads serving tables, carried a plate out of the kitchen and dropped a meat kebab on the floor, it was promptly picked up, he returned to the kitchen entrance, coming back out with the plate/kebabs within 5 seconds, and delivered it to the unsuspecting diner - unless they pre cook these in advance of orders, the one that had been dropped, was recycled!

This place has a vast amount of things for children to play on. However don’t expect to get food quick- they have two cage areas but one is never open and the other has a constant huge queue because the staff take forever! Even if you want drinks you have to queue with the food and last time we queued for 25 minutes! Ridiculous when you have children to supervise and feee!

The most appalling 'meal' and service that I have ever been subjected to. We ordered steak and ale pie and this was brought out to us and placed on our table and described as a pie. However, there was absolutely no pastry, just a bit of gravy in a dish. When I called the waiter back he said 'to be honest, we've ran out of pastry' - are these people for real? To add insult to injury, the manager actually tried to charge us for the pies we never received!!!! Shambolic and not for the first time, but definitely for the last. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY!!!!

Average food more like a pub, raw onion in the scotch egg bhaji, bang bang cauliflower poor, fish and chips were tiny and fish dry. So over priced for below average food.
