The best restaurants in Carlisle North West

Missing dough balls, took over 80 minutes to arrive and was barely warm. Would not be getting food from here again

Stayed at the county hotel in Carlisle on 29/3/25 the room as fine but the bed was not the mattress sloped on one side and was very hard so my husband rolled out of bed once and neither of us slept ,The breakfast was very good .My husband was asked if we had a good night sleep so he said no and explained and was told it was a new bed .My husband said the bed mite be but the mattress was not . Such a shame . All staff very nice

Cancelled train meant I had to get food quickly, so was forced to try here. Laughed at the reviews and rolled the dice despite them. The middle-aged guy with the glasses and short beard served me, nice enough guy to me personally tbh but... There was only one piece of bread left (it was just before 5pm to be fair) Barely any drinks No napkins No bags No lettuce That was all actually fine Then I got out and went to eat the sandwich, bread was stale. Olives looked old. Meat was debatable. Binned it 😂 Might have been fine but everything being out of stock and the reviews didn't fill me with confidence. He also turned off the lights while I was still in the shop and locked the door right behind me as I left

Waited over 2 and a half hours for order, called and they stated it was on the way, an hour later contacted them again and was told was only then just leaving the shop, arrived like this!!! Absolutely terrible

Nice service but not the cleanest. Sat on the sofa which had a dip in the middle and had lots of crumbs down the side which really put me off my drink and would be reluctant to buy food.

Delicious food hot and delivery on time Meal deal was well worth the money great value Do t have Indian very often this is the place to go

The pizza is okay, the fried chicken is hard like a rock.

It was the worst meal I have had from there, the cheese patty was burnt and the chips were. not as good as usual on a score out of ten would be lucky to make 4.

Giving 1star is actually a higher score than what it delivers or deserves.. I called in last night for a 12inch pizza meal deal, 1st the person on the other side of the phone ain't very clear on what they know from the menu, she's not English native and is so hard to understand her 50% of the time. When I asked for the order, I asked if I could make my own pizza( choice of toppings only) and I was denied due to not being on the meal deal menu, wow hahaha.. this was the 1st time in 18y someone has ever denied me that, bare in mind my toppings would be way cheaper than your meat feast and yet they are clueless about it. When she denied me it she also apologised and that shows that there's a fault here towards a customer. I'm okay tho I still got to eat has there's so much more takeaways in Carlisle and with better customer service/offers. My advice, get your simple details right, just the fact that I can't understand the person on the other side of the phone is already an "off button".

Not putting up with this place any longer... Waiting time NO PROBLEM as nobody in Carlisle orders from here... Easily the worst take away in Carlisle (beats crusty cobbler on thus award)... changed names many times to escape the awful food rating.... been in news for health and safety many times... Dreadful! Ordered ahead as wanted gluten free option. Staff very unfriendly and had shocking attitudes! Staff incorrectly labelled my food - despite my gluten intolerance. Spent entire weekend violently throwing up as a result of their lack lustre approach. Avoid at all costs!!

Had the best breakfast wrap I've ever had from a maccys. Lovely clean restaurant. Staff very friendly.

Lack of toppings has always been an issue at this location. I miss the real dominos. Last order I order the double decadence and there was nothing in the dough. Just had enough of high prices and no food or what you paid for. Disappointed us and understatement
