I didn't go. I dismissed from site but Google still insisted that I went

I ordered on the app to the incorrect Bobbys (this is 90 miles away from me. When I called to cancel they refused and wouldn’t refund. Said they don’t deal with money. By the time I got to speak to the people on the app who also called them they said the order had been fulfilled - if they had allowed me to cancel in the 1st place it wouldn’t have been wasted and I wouldn’t be £17 down.

Utter shambles... chips were rock hard, either reheated or sat in the warmer for far to long, rang up the shop to make a comment, not exactly a complaint just wanted to point out the chips were completely awful and unedable to have the manager cause an argument with us over thr phone! Terrible customer service, terrible food and the store is in desperate need of a revamp! Avoid at all costs

Dry, chips that tasted rewarmed or uncooked, rang to tell the owner as was disappointed after spending £22. We reported it to the manager who was rude and told us there was nothing wrong with the chips… Why would we bother informing him if they were nice? No problem will just warn everyone else not to go there with such awful chips and rude managers you will soon be out of business. Will not be returning.

Chips are always reheated! You can't sell chips like that. Got some tonight like rubber 😕

orderd scampi and chips battered sausage and chips and a vinto received only scampi and chips rang and said I was missing my battered sausage and chips and then only received a battered sausage and no chips so rang back and they tryed to say that they sent it on the first time what a joke dont order for here

Ordered a pizza. Black as coal, contacted foodhub who offered me a £1.50 voucher! As the restaurant wouldn't give a full refund.. yes they replaced the pizza but I would have given the meal for free with no charge( full refund given) had to settle for a £3 voucher instead. When I phoned bobby's and told him it was burnt he said" ahh yes I know okay, what is your address and I'll send another one" this tells me he knew it was burnt and thought I wouldn't say anything, like It was okay to send it in the first place.. most of the time the foods actually alright but come on too look at the state of that pizza and think " ohh that will be okay" is wrong

May aswell of had a plate of grease the sausage was also soggy a seeping grease disgusting won't be back

Visiting the area and locals who im staying with did tell me about this place bobbies / Currock Chippy. But you know im one of those people to slightly ignor till ive tried it myself, i visited bobbies to get a Chip butty and a battered sausage my complaint is not the taste of the food it's the staff, i had my chip butty serverd in a broken bun that was wormed in the pizza oven, from outback out the freezer, my chip butty was handeld by staff wearing NO Gloves and it contained about 12, chips squshed in a white box, OMG and then im charged £6.00 for this Never to go again here. PLEASE AVOID THIS YOURSELF ITS NOT WORTH IT

Ordered a wrap and put just lettuce and when I rang they said it gets cooked in the onions and peppers I should read the menu which I did read back on foodhub and doesn't say that they lied and wasn't polite and had to deal with what I got

I ordered from here pretty regularly and found a hair inbeded in the cheese of my Kabab pizza called up and the owner said it would have burnt away in the oven if that was true and I wouldn't have found it. Ubereats have refunded the pizza at least and Bobby's as they are also called have lost a loyal customer.

Got a dinner wrap not cooked properly as still pink rang up to complain and they said it was cooked cos one side was brown

Absolotely disgraceful service ordered a cheese and tomato pizza that turned up mashed with slices under the pizza and stuck to the box. phoned the shop to explain and the manager was nothing but rude and ignorant and said there was nothing he could do. so we then took the pizza to the shop which is less than half a mile away and showed the staff .....they didnt care and said it wasnt there fault but said the delivery driver had admitted they dropped the pizza before delivering yet still wouldnt give a refund or replace the pizza. Attitude is vile and they definitely should not be running any kind of reataurant. AVOID !!!!!! there are a million better places in Carlisle to order from.

I love this fish and chip shop I’d one of the best one I come here all the time the staff is every joyful and the food was hot and I seen them cook and the fish freshly cooked ans it cheap so any one in Currock I recommend going here it’s actually the best

Sold my daughter the previous days reheated chips that were disgusting, he admitted they had been there a 'while' when I called to complain, he replaced them for freshly cooked that were of good quality. Not good practice and i have contacted Environmental health.

Just had a very disappointing portion of fish and chips, chips dry and tasteless you could almost believe they were re- heated from lunchtime fish very small, poor quality and pricey for what you ended up with. Shame as this chip shop always used to be excellent quality. Won't be going back or recommending to anyone else.

Food arrived the garlic bread was burned, the cheese, chips & gravy was undercooked and absolutely vile. Called up to complain and they told me to not order from them again and I won’t be getting my money back. Avoid

Had to wait a while but that's fine as everything was freshly cooked for us. Excellent food, nice people. Recommended!

Worst takeaway in Carlisle horrible

Great food only issue is the can't sell chip shop vinegar over counter delivery only due to covid every other chip shop still sell it so don't know why there rules are diferent

The food quality is good, but the delivery service is inadequate. I ordered food via Uber Eats, as this establishment uses their own drivers. Two hours passed without any delivery or any update. When I phoned, I was told they had no drivers available. Unfortunately I had to drive to the store to collect the food, despite having paid for delivery. I was told the food had been sitting 'for 15 minutes' but it was clear when I ate it that it had been sitting for a while. Overall, the food quality is good but this store really needs to improve their delivery. I would suggest you go collect food in person.

Kebab was nice and very different than other shops with green peppers and onion

Just alright. Food cooked fresh as we ordered just before closing, but cod was bland and chips didn't taste of anything other than salt and oil. Only been there once so perhaps its better on other days, but won't be in a rush to head back.

Always great food, best pizza around. Always hot unlike some others.

Sent to the wrong address Was told they were just busy until 1.5hours after expected delivery Manager refused to help or do anything and put the phone down

Ordered takeaway at 7.10pm was supposed to arrive at 8. Eventually turned up at 9.20! 2hrs 10mins for chicken and chips. Phoned told manager was to busy to talk even though he could be heard talking to the person on the phone. Looked at reviews to late only to see many had same complaints. Don't use this service it's rubbish.

Id like to give minus stars but unfortunately that is not an option, order food 16:30 finally arrives after an hour and a half cold food manager offers to take £3 off my bill really I mean really!!!!! Is this a joke? I will never order from here again no help from the manager at all. Tried to give the food back to the driver he wouldn't take it sorry but my bin is really full now. Avoid this place at all costs disgusting!!!!!!!!!!

If I could give less stars I would, we never got our delivery through food hub and had been charged for it, food hub said that they claim it has been delivered which is a total lie, I will popping it this place tomorrow and try to get my money back, this is theft and would highly avoid this takeaway.

Bad bad bad chips. Just really bad.

Absolutely shocking service! Food ordered at 20.22, delivery due at 21.10. Food actually arrived at 22.02!!!! When I phoned the chippy I was told that the driver was struggling to find my address. I eventually spoke to the manager to find out where my food was. I was told that he couldn't talk to me because food was burning! Bobby, the manager, blamed the reason for the late delivery on the driver being foreign and that he was not familiar with the area. Bobby told me that the driver was on a street nearby. I tried to explain directions but he said that he had to end the conversation with me so that he could contact the driver. I asked him to call me back after he had spoken to the driver. He said he would. He didn't. When the food arrived, another 12 mins, when he was apparently just a 2 minute drive away, the driver apologised profusely for the delay. He also phoned Bobby and handed me the phone. I asked Bobby when the driver left the chippy. He told me 21.20. I said so after the food was meant to have been delivered! I was repeatedly interrupted and had to ask numerous times to be allowed to finish my sentences in both calls. I told Bobby that I would be leaving a negative review. To which he replied that he didn't care! I contacted just eat to make a complaint. I was told that the restaurant had marked the order as delivered at 21.02 on just eat! This is a blatant lie when the food hadn't even left there until 21.20, as confirmed by Bobby himself!! I told just eat this and they were going to investigate. A couple of minutes after the call to just eat, I received a refund from just eat. Then just eat called me back to say that the restaurant had cancelled my order at my request!!! Funny that an order can be cancelled at 22.43 when the food was apparently delivered at 21.02!!!

Won't order from here again. Ordered x2 sausage chips and gravy and it took 1hr and 25mins to arrive! Felt sorry for the delivery driver though. Food was awful! Batter on the sausage was that soggy it was coated like a paste on the chips, not even on the sausage!

Food has always been great when we have ordered or had delivered. Staff are lovely the place is clean. Love the pizzas and the special chicken tikka kebab in naan is best around. Highly recommended. They also serve great chip shop options. Best all round delivery service in carlisle.

Ordered last night and today we woke up with sickness and diarrhoea!!

theres this really unfirendly member of staff hes young and has black hair. chips are undercooked but fish ans sausige is good.
