The best restaurants in Carlisle North West

Preorded at 6 for delivery at 8 and still came 45 min late... What's even the point in ordering for specific time if you can't keep up with a 2 hour timeslot.

Ordered Jacket potato with cheese and bacon, arrived with streaky bacon slavery fat. Sent back to be told this is how it comes however will get some other bacon, it came back solid as a brick, slight white colour on coating. Obviously been sat for a while. Ordered a child's cheese and tomato pizza. Chips been double fried so not fresh, pizza was soft on bottom uncooked and middle of pizza was doughy. My daughter eats any pizza from pizza xpress to Aldi cheap pizza, so for her to say that is disgusting it must be bad, so tried for myself and she was right.. disgusting! Went over to complain to be told sorry about that but nothing can be done. £36.65 for utter garbage!

Booked Premier inn hotel next door only to find this was shut. According to previous review because of staff shortage. Unbelievable

Ordered chicken but it clearly was lamb or something else.. Also plastic everywhere. Why not just put the salad and sauce on the kebab and not in 5 packages? Thanks

Been in this store a few times now and never actually left with anything, they never have any of the items on the menu they don’t take cash, they’re never open in the morning so a breakfast sub is off the cards, no drinks last time I was In only the one type of bread, the manager of this store is a terrible business owner and I guess subway doesn’t actually know how this store is ran, I’ve been to a lot of subways and this is definitely one I would never return to its pretty much put me off getting a subway from anywhere again

Have you ever been in a Mac Donald’s where the place was spotless, the staff were smiling and your food came on time? We’ll go to the one at London Road Carlisle. It is situated between two sets of EV chargers and a great place to stop. I highly recommend this place

Rip-off taking advantage of patients and their families. They have a captive customer base and abuse and profiteer from them to the full. The price of coffees is unjustifiable (more expensive than other Costas incl. another NCIC hospital), nevermind the food at £6 plus. It's also poor quality - toastie I just had was burnt on one side. How this is ethically justified in a hospital is remarkable.

I just called this evening (14th) as the app wasn’t working. Nice guy answered the phone and was very helpful and patient as it was only 30 mins until closing time. Didn’t catch his name but his customer service was great!

Ordered waffle and mini donuts as a Saturday night treat for myself and partner, almost 2 hours later no delivery, I have just phoned them now and was told they did come and knocked on the door, we were sat with the living room door open to hear the front door and there's not a chance anyone knocked on the door. Been told to go through food hub for a refund and they refused to refund us (sweet tooth) . Appalling customer service and at over £15 I think that's disgusting. We both work hard and fancied a treat. Good customer service would be refunding the money or re sending the items out but they refused that too. Don't waste your time or money!

We have been regular customers of The Reiver for 30 years. They have had a few changes of management over recent years. We ate here for the first time since the most recent management took over and we were very happy with our meal. It was great value, very hot (which is important to us), nicely presented and served very quickly. We found the staff to be pleasant and the ambiance relaxing. All in all we were impressed and will no doubt be eating here again very soon.

Rubbish. Get your car park lights on. An accident waiting to happen. Didn't bother stopping. Amazed we even found the exit.
