My go to place for a drink on my away day for the football, very comfortable place and well kept local real ales on the bar with excellent customer service. Unfortunately due to a promotion I won't be making the trip next season.

This place is a GEM, .. julie who served us was very professional and polite, Amy who was cooking made a great bacon bun, proper thick bacon with lots of taste. the place is immaculate and well presented. well worth travelling to it, i think bookings are advisable at busy times e.g lunch. will defo be back .

Visited on a recommendation. Got there at 12 and it was already busy. It’s a Robinsons pub but they’ve got great selection of beer and wine. Real fires burning, and nice staff. Some great choices on the menu, good value, and portions. Would recommend the BLT with salt and pepper chips

Pre ordered 13 Christmas Pies for collection at 12 today. Was there on time to pick up and told not ready. Offered cold ones. Refused and were told they would drop some hot ones off at place of work in 20 mins. Turned up at 1.15. What is the point of pre ordering. If you can't supply the service please don't take the order.

Considering the coffee shop is adjacent to a ruin, I was expecting your average, tourist offering. I was happily surprised. We ordered baguettes, which seemed more like paninis. They were flavorful. I had bacon, brie & cranberry. The flat white hit the spot. And we shared a Victoria sponge cake that was our least favorite. Nevertheless, when you're with good friends, it makes for an even better lunch. Open Wednesdays - Sundays, 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
