A birthday treat tonight with my hubbies and daughter and flipping heck it was good food. The buns were beautiful and the burgers just delishous. Absolutely great value for money. The icecream was amazing. Tge staff just the best. No crumbs in this house. Thank you see you again very soon

After many highly recommended reviews off various people I know - I've bit the bullet and tried their burgers & boy I was not disappointed, AMAZING to say the least.....proper dirty, messy burgers - all of which we enjoyed. My husband wasn't a fan of the tomato relish as he doesn't like tomatoes but still ate it all, my son had the chorizo on his with the Swiss & American toppings, he said it was spicey just how he likes it. As for the establishment itself - 10/10 for adhering to the current situation of social distancing, traffic light system at the front door, excellent idea, markers on the floor to keep the 2 metre rule & all staff wearing correct PPE. Why have I waited this long to try their food - will definitely be going back !!!

When you need a burger ,there is only one place to go and that’s k wiz. Why would you go anywhere else when the burgers here are this awesome. Get some fries and garlic mayo to go with your burger and enjoy. Lovely food.

Burgers on Thursday & Friday; Pizza on Saturday. Our Friday burgers were simply superb - there's an amazing range of toppings - and teh sweet potato wedges were out of this world (possibly baked in the pizza oven) and caremelised. Best I've had in a long time. Under COVID, there are come/go traffic lights outside and it's all very professionally/safely handled.

Kitchen Wizard is the best takeaway in this area, especially the burgers which are made with good quality ingredients. It gets busy but that is because it’s good! They have an efficient system to make sure everyone is served in the correct order and it is never a long wait. 10/10

Where do I start? Put it this way, I won't move out of Dalton unless Kwiz ever start delivering! I'm a pizza night person and they're my favourite pizzas, big, cheesy and generously topped with the tastiest fresh ingredients. The chicken goujons are lush, really good quality chicken in the tastiest crispy batter. You honestly haven't lived until you've had Kwiz fries and garlic mayo, it's literally the best garlic mayo in the world. The pizzas heat up really well the next day too (if you've got any left over.) The burgers for me are a little sloppy with all the relish etc but that's just my personal preference, I order mine without. I think the burgers could be a little bit juicier but they're still delicious and you definitely get your money's worth! You won't be disappointed!

Haven’t been in a while, it was queued out the door but service is always quick had the blue steak burger my favourite and fries with the best garlic mayo around won’t leave it as long next time

Burgers are always delicious, Fresh and great value. Sweet potato wedges are lush. We visit regularly and will continue to do so

Kitchen Wizard is the best take away food outlet in the area. All the food is hand made and made to order. The service is fast and clean. Very popular with locals

We always go on burger night. I'm sure the pizzas are lovely, but the burgers are something special here! Homemade buns, homemade sauces and homemade burgers along with generous portions and delicious combinations. We live out of town now, but we still visit and pick up a takeaway from Kitchen Wizard to take when we see family in Barrow. I can definitely recommend the burger with blue cheese: most of the family have this with either the Swiss topping (mushrooms and onions) or something spicy. A trip to Kitchen Wizard isn't complete without a tub of homemade ice cream. Their Daim bar ice cream is delicious - slightly salty and oh so sweet just like the chocolate bar. We have never had a bad meal from here.

We often call in for a beefburger or pizzas to bring home, the fries are nice. The ice cream delicious, and the staff are great.

Perfection. Would never go anywhere else for pizza or burgers....lovely. The fries and garlic mayo are tops.

Chilli Burger to die for. Chicken Nuggets a taste sensation. Spicy mayo amazing. Garlic mayo fantastic. Perfect fries. Don't go to McDonalds. Get out of your car and buy your grub here !!

Pizza is to die for and the burger is too. The pizza is enormous and very tasty whichever you choose. The chicken burger is the best ever!

Ever want a decent burger or pizza in south Cumbria....... Then try and pop by I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed always fresh always good

We had pizza one night and burgers another. We had a hot and spicy pizza which was loaded with mushrooms and chilli's and cheese and beef, almost like a sloppy Joe. It was very tasty and we had plenty for cold leftovers the next day. The next day we had homemade burgers with Mexican toppings. I wish we'd had a single burger instead of a double as it was a bit too much to eat comfortably. Lovely burger, bread and toppings. We also had Daim bar homemade icecream - to die for!!!! Not somewhere to go if you're in a diet but a lovely treat all the same

Everything is made from scratch, the best burgers the best pizzas I've ever tasted!! The mayo is great! I scream is to die for.

Really tasty gluten free pizza. Definitely one of the best gluten free pizzas I've had. Il be going back to try the gluten free burger soon.

Have gone to Kitchen Wizard ever since the early days of the burger van in Ulverston outside Woolworths on a Saturday night. Always good food. Friendly service and good portion size. Highly recommend.

2nd time disappointed with burgers not has good as they used to be. Flat & tasteless. Won't be rushing back. Will go for pizza night but burgers put us off.

I have visited Kitchen Wizard many times in the past and now live out of the area. Ever time I visited it always seems to be pizza night (not that it is a bad thing!) Tonight was burger night and I had looked forward to it all week! We were very impressed with our food, it was cold by the time we got home but can't blame the takeaway for that! It was still delicious. I selected a chicken burger, fries, Garlic mayo and nuggets. The garlic mayo is an absolute must!!! My wife had a 1/4 pounder which she said was lovely. Can highly recommend this place! You can find the menu on Facebook by searching Kitchen Wizard but the important thing to remember is you can't phone order on burger night you have to go in. You can order on pizza night by the phone though!

First time I have been here for a pizza - got the hot and spicy which was chilli con carne, nice base but topping was too heavy so pizza was soggy - fries were ok but a lot of them were just husks. Think it would be good for the burger and pizza to be available together not on separate nights.

Amazing food, great value and never tasted food so good. All it's food is prepared fresh and the quality is wonderful.

The Wiz just do the best burgers ever. Sheer quality and tremendously good value. Beats any other take away in Cumbria and I have tried loads of them! Well done the Wiz!

Just another burger pizza place but cant get both on same night. They are alternatively done per night over the week so u want a pizza on burger night its a no go cant understand why both arnt available as we would buy both

The hamburgers are delicious, very juicy. They are very large with plenty of lettuce, relish and mayo. We also had fries with their own garlic mayonnaise which is delicious. I have to admit I am not a burger fan normally and Kitchen Wizard is the only place I ever have a burger from as it truly is excellent quality. They also have their own homemade ice cream which is to die for.

Fantastic food quality and service. Have never had a complaint. Particularly love burger nights and the fries and garlic. A real jewel of a takeaway in Dalton.

Not the cheapest pizza around but well worth the money. The pizza is thick and full of toppings. We over estimated how much by 50% and had so much left over it was pizza for lunch the next day. Well worth the wait and drive. Forget the chains and use the local tastier option.

My family have been going regularly to kitchen wizard for decades. Top burgers and pizzas. I have moved away from the area now but always try to fit a kitchen wizard in.

Best place for take away food in the area - Chips and garlic mayo yummy :-) and the Steak sandwich/burgers are lush!

Burger night is fantastic. Steak sandwich is perfect - the beef is so tender. Then there's the ice cream every flavour you could wish for.

Drive from Barrow to come here but 100% worth it. Burger or pizza night doesn't matter as both are fab. Always seems busy but orders come out fast and staff seem fully trained to deal with the busy atmosphere working as a team. Food I beautiful and cheap. Garlic mayonnaise is a must!!!! Ice creams a lovely too

Burgers and pizzas are brilliant. Great quality with fresh ingredients. Would recommend a visit. The homemade ice creams are very good with a large variety.

Probably the best takeaway every. Alternative nights of burgers and pizzas, both always taste amazing. Home made ice creams too if you don't mind adding a few more calories! Really is a great place for food, highly recommended.

The burgers here are amazing!, lots of toppings available, really reasonably priced and very quick service..... Fries and garlic Mayo are a must also.... Once you've been you will definitely go back....

Can't beat a kwizz half pounder Mexican style ! And fries and garlic is awesome too and although I've never had it the steak in a bun is meant to be nice too

Friends had told us about the amazing burgers from Kitchen Wizard take away. They were right. They were delicious and just what I was wanting. Their garlic mayo is out of this world. We were a little concerned when we walked in and there were so many people waiting. There was no need to worry because I think we only waited about 10 minutes and it was well worth the wait. They bake their own buns and prepare their own meat and it shows in how well they taste. I got a cheese burger with bacon and it was cooked perfectly. My husband got steak in a bun with pineapple and bacon on it and it was just as good. They have pizza nights on Wednesday and Saturday and burger nights on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Have not tried the pizza yet but will be trying it very soon! They are only open from 5pm to 8pm. Can't wait to go back!
