Absolutely appalling order at 10-30 am still not here at 12-45 the answer I got as always sorry its on the van ,really no point in it being on barrow eats as by the time you actually get your order it's way past delivery time ,this isn't the 1st this has happend ,really not happy.

...but this has changed my mind every time I have been! Until eating here, I suppose I have been put off over the years by mass produced pies, soggy pastry and bland gravy with nothing else in them. That ends here, be prepared for a taste sensation. We've been multiple times over the years and it never fails to impress! It's a must visit. Perfect, crumbly pastry with generous, tasty fillings. The breakfast pie is probably a favourite but then so are the amazing freshly cooked scotch eggs and then the absolutely perfect pork pies. I realise after all I do like pies and pastry products from here. Simply from here, nowhere else need bother, they cannot match here, and you needn't bother going anywhere other than here. Oh, and a decent coffee to help it all go down too!

Fantastic food at good prices and friendly staff. You should expand and become a cafe I'm sure it would be very popular.

Yesterday I placed a preorder at Delish via Barrow Eats. My 6 pies and 2 Sausage Rolls were due to be delivered at 12:30 today. They hadn't arrived by about 14:30 so I rang them. The lass explained there had been a cockup and was very apologetic, saying she'd get my order to me right away. It turned up with 6 extra pies and a sausage roll. Double the original order. You can't beat that for customer service. 👍👍

The steak and potatoe pies are absolutely the best. I wish they would open a sit down cafe/ restaurant they would do fantastically well.

This has a fabulous range of pies, buns, salads and cakes. This food shop at first did a small range with 2 staff. Now their popularity and range of brilliant foods has increased. There are now 5 staff to cope with the volume of customers. Their range includes Sunday dinner pies, Christmas pies ,steak and kidney and chicken and all kinds of side dishes. The range is really inivotive and unbelievable . They have specials every day. They sell coffee too. Their prices are good too it's a shame that they don't open on Monday's too. 5 stars all the way

I went for the special pie which was chille con carne beef with sour cream. It was quite tasty but also quite odd. It wasn’t satisfying enough as a meal so I had to go to MacDonalds for a second meal. There aren’t many places to go in sunny barrow and this is one of those not many places.

If you want to enjoy excellent cooked food, from pies, to sandwiches, their breakfast pie is to die for, many many different and unusual flavours, this is the best place to go. You would need to be quick if you want to buy your lunch here as they are so popular they might sell out of your favourite.

Went to a family party catered with pies from Deli.sh. Superb, steak and potato easily the best around, chicken ham and leek also really good didn’t try the cheese and onion but they seemed to be going down well. Great menu, will have to sample some more goodies.

My weekly treat is a trip out from work during my dinner to get something from Deli.sh. The star of the show is without doubt The Breakfast Pie, closely followed by the Black Pudding Scotch Eggs. But truth be told everything I've had from Deli.sh has been superbly made, and really tasty. The prices are fantastic value too - if it's a choice between a 'Bake' from Greggs which are gone in a few bites, or a lovingly made item from Deli.sh that fills you up for the same price, there would never be a doubt. I cannot praise it highly enough - I can't wait to see them move into bigger premises.

We used Delish's outside catering service for our engagement and house warming party. We ordered various flavour pie 'n' peas with all the trimmings. They were superb, were delivered piping hot exactly at the time we agreed and our guests loved them. Very friendly and efficient service. Not that badly priced either. In our view for this type of outside catering Delish are about the best in the Barrow / South Lakes and surrounding areas in what is a very crowded and competitive marketplace. We've been to other doo's as guests where Delish provided the catering and again excellent. Don't hesitate to use them.

There is nothing i have tried from here that i haven't loved. Enjoy that they do specials. Favourites are the breakfast pie, the cheese n onion and when they do steak and wild mushroom. Delicious. Too delicious to go too often!!

Tried our first meat and potato pie today. Categorically the best I have ever tasted! Will definitely return to try some more goodies.

I found this little deli café called Delish last year I am so glad I did WOW. The pies are out of this world try a Sloppy Joe it will change your life also the hot scotch eggs with black pudding in ummmmmmmm Im dribbling now thinking of them like I said in the header my wife as left me I have gone from 13 stone to 21 stone in a year I am addicted to this place along with a load more fatties from Barrow we all meet at 12pm every day and get our pies and sit outside he town hall without a care in the world just go and try one people they are amazing

I visit here regular for my lunch. All produce is made on site. All the pies are packed with filling and the pastry is thin not thick like most pies. There is a large range of different pies tgey also make cakes and serve hot drinks. All the staff are very welcoming and pleasant but if visiting give a bit of time as it gets busy. Well worth a visit

the pies here are not pukka,theyre better. there are basic staples,meat and potato/steak but then there are things which just dont happen to pies...the breakfast,the lasagne,the stew and dumpling topping and then the exocet is the cheese and onion. good coffee,salads and specials

Food is very nice but the staff come across as very rude and unhelpful. They look at you strangely whenever you request something slightly different to the 'set menu' and make you feel uncomfortable. Happened a number of times now. Unpleasant.

Had a selection of pies from Delish and their name says it all. They were all very good. They also have soups and sandwiches on offer which all looked really good.

Fantastic choice of food. Special Christmas pies on the run up to Xmas but it would be nice if they had these all year round. Maybe called them a Sunday roast pie. Beautiful

Best pies in town, each one lovingly hand crafted and full of taste....unlike the stodge on offer from supermarkets and major chains. Specials on offer to tempt your palate. Scotch eggs bursting with flavour. Meat and Potato pies which actually contain Real meat! The hardest part is trying to choose what to buy!

We went for a quick bite to eat after a long walk in town, I had a sausage roll which was very meaty and tasted like it had just been made, it was very tasty!My only complaint was that the food could have been a little bit hotter

Often come for lunch, Special burger on a Saturday is the best but i had a Chicken and Chorizo scotch egg on tuesday and it was amazing. All the food is always fantastic and i have tried the majority that they sell. By far the best Deli in Cumbria

Very well known eatery in town, the pies are the best around but they offer much more inc breakfast. sandwiches, tascas, jacket spuds, salads, soup, coffees and soup and specials of the day.

Great steak and potato pies with crisp pastry. Also tried the bakewell tart which was very light. It's also nice to buy a decent coffee in Barrow- I love Illy.

Meat was fatty and gristley, bread was dry.. all In all very bland, disappointed after reading so many good reviews on here.. wondered if we'd even visited the same shop!?

Absolutely top notch food, we visit regularly as it is irresistible, am sure you would not be dissapointed with any purchase, it has the right name exactly.

They don't do a mince and potato like Greens but their Steak and potato (with gravy inside) is absolute perfection. Out of the two I'd choose Delish every time. If you spot home made pork crackling on the counter, make sure you get some. It's not always there but it's awesome.

Had a pork roll. It was all fat and hard lumps, very little meat to be seen. Really awful and was not fit to be eaten. It was my first visit after reading all the reviews but I certainly wont be going back.

Was working nearby to this shop & wondered what all the fuss was about. People in people out....... MacDonald's was my original choice for lunch! Wow can't wait to be back in Barrow

Awful experience a few months ago when I bit into a gammon chicken and leek pie when I suddenly felt something very sharp at the back of my mouth. This was a chicken bone, I took it back to the shop whose response was "well at least you know we use real chicken" ... oh well thats ok then ....not!!!

Wow. What an awesome place. The food is beyond superb. Its a regular dinnertime and sometimes breakfast first choice. Friendly staff and quick service, can't fault them at all. If you've not tried it you really should. The burgers or burritos on special are just amazing. I'm hungry again now thinking about them!!

We can't fault Sam and staff at Delish, the food is fantastic quality and excellent value. The pies are delicious and we love the daily specials (especially the burrito and tagine). If we could fault anything, it would just be that the sweet things are never as good as the savoury but it really doesn't matter as we are always too full for cake anyway!

Great Deli for lunches, had there tray meat and potato pies to reheat at home with their peas and gravy for a family party and they were fab. Highly recommend them

The food here is top notch. Plenty to choose from and the quality cannot be questioned. My personal favourites are the pulled pork buns (special on a Friday) and the scotch eggs which are amazing! Only problem is the scotch eggs always sell out - people have even started pre-ordering them to make sure they get one!! Everything on the menu looks fab though, so you'll never leave disappointed.One comment worth noting is that Delish is a lunchtime takeaway, not a restaurant! Trip advisor needs to get a takeaway section added in my opinion.

ive almost tried every item on the menu now and never EVER have i been slightly dissapointed by them the girl that works there sometimes looks like she wants to be else where and can talk down to you while serving but the rest of them are very lovely and helpful. - she might have been having a few off days, none the less the food is the best around here by far and miles!!!!!

I was working away in Barrow and the team members from my client recommended Deli.sh as a good sandwich shop. I had a chicken and bacon flatbread, it was fantastic. I got a slice of cake and a can too and was all under £5! The value was great, but I was on a working-away allowance and would have been justified to spend double on my lunch, but went back there for each lunch time for the remainder of my stay.

Moving teams in work and went to Delish to get leaving pies in (its got to be done!) Phoned up the afternoon prior to me picking them up and they were ready at the right pick up time the following morning, they were a reasonable price and were of top quality, will definitly be visiting again!

All are hand made and baked by the very friendly staff.Believe me, if you're passing, pop in and try the food including delicious rolls and bacon buns.

I have worked in Barrow since 1996, sampling possibly what all the town and also the surrounding area has to offer in the way of breakfasts and lunches. Thankfully 2 years ago Deli.sh came along and blew them all out of the water with there food. I have eaten there almost everyday apart from Sunday/Monday(they are closed) Quality breakfasts, amazing Pies, outstanding daily specials, not to mention everything else they do, to much to mention. Not everything on the menu may be to everybody's taste which is fair, but i haven't had anything to my dislike in two years, One last thing, THE VENISON HOT POT WAS ABSOLUTELY BLOODY BEAUTIFUL!!!

I don't know what ben w is talking about, the food at deli.sh is better than the food restaurants serve in barrow. name me a place in barrow that does a pulled pork, philly steak and cheese baguette or homemade pie as good as deli.sh in my profession I constantly have to grab dinner while i'm out which means I've tried food from pretty much every shop in town, I will go out of my way to eat from delish. the food is fresh made and different from the usual menus at all the other shops. i agree you are right about the scotch eggs. chef well done.

Deli-sh, Crellin Street Barrow in Furness CumbriaI just had to see what the fuss was about.So i visited the Number 1 rated on Trip-Advisor, Restaurant - Takeaway in Barrow.Deli-sh in Crellin Street 15th October.It is no more than a take-away and very tiny in size. How does it get Number One status for best Barrow in Furness outlet? Best try the food i thought. I ordered the Venison Hot Pot with Braised Red Cabbage £3.A classic Pork Pie £1.40.A pork Pie with Apricot and Cashew Nuts £1.40And a home-made Scotch Egg £1.50.The Tuna Nicoise Salad on display looked delicious. As did the various sandwhiches and home made puddings.I took my purchases home and placed in the oven. best not to spoil the pastry in the microwave.The Venison Hot Pot was awful - Not to my taste.The Pork Pies were tasty and the pastry crispy as well as moist. But not exceptional.The Scotch Egg was the best i have ever tasted. Obviously lots of lots of things on the menu i did not try. i beleive the Breakfast served 8.00 - 11.00 is particularly popular and the shop appears to be always busy/The staff - Proprietors are helpful and friendly. And they have obviously worked extremely hard in establishing the business. But Barrows number 1 ? Not when you think of all the comfortable Pub / Restaurants in the area. Who provide comfortable surroundings - Good food - Friendly staff, and have to keep their establishments clean and warm, with all the high overheads that incurs.Deli-sh is good - i will certainly go again. But Barrows No1 ? - is a takeaway for goodness sake. !Takeaways should have there own section and Pub / Restaurants theirs.The two cannot be compared or confused.Ben W

Food is cooked fresh daily - the quality is really fantastic. Pies, sandwiches, jackets, sausage rolls and soups. Prices are extremely good value for something that continually tastes fantastic!Specials change daily and are always excellent; my particular favourite is the pulled pork with cheese, coleslaw and BBQ sauce.The shop always looks exceptionally clean and the staff are very friendly, I highly recommend this excellent deli.

I have called into Delish several times over the past few months for lunch. The pulled pork sandwiches (with coleslaw & cheese) are particularly good. The tascas are also good. Great service, not cheap but not overly expensive either - you pay for quality & that's what you get.

I don't get food on the go very often but I've been to de.lish a few times since it opened and it's been a tasty treat. Had a burger once, a sandwich another time and a pie last time. All very fresh and homemade and tasty, filling and wholesome. Only comment for improvement is season the pork a little and serve it hot and the brownie recipe is not good... Try a vegan recipe for a slightly healthier brownie or Ina Garten's for a devilishly rich and nutty brownie.

Heard a lot about Delish so decided to give it a go, I opted for the Dave, which is like a hunters chicken in a wrap, bbq sauce was delicious not too overly smokey, really nice big pieces of chicken, bacon and cheese. Quick service despite it being busy and only run by a couple. Get to see them making it all also in an open kitchen. Lovely and a good price too, will go back again.

Been here two days on the trot had the BBQ Pulled Pork Bap yesterday and the Delish G burger today. The food is delicious and the staff are lovely. Would recommend to everyone.

The pies from this bakery are easily the best I have ever had. They are dangerous because even if I buy two I want four. The tastes are wonderful, the pricing is great, the staff are very friendly. If they ever decide to do deliveries then they will clean up in this town.

Come for 90% of my lunches always amazing, staff are great but you must pop in on a sat for the burger by far the best

Just been to try out Deli.sh after hearing good reviews, Its as good as people are making out, pies are beautiful and a wide range of different foods to choose from, I'm glad finally theres a place to go for great food on a dinner time. Good to hear a small family firm a trying to make a success out of their passion for food, good luck for the future.

well what could I possibly say after devouring my 3rd burger from here in as many weeks.... there's just one word on my lips right now and that word is OMG he added BACON...... THIS MAN IS A GENIUS... move over albert Einstein!pulled pork special is amazing, pies are amazing, pork and apple buns are amazing.... I do not normally leave reviews regarding food but this place is a gem!! real home cooked food that is appetising and smells phenomenal. this is delish by name and delish by nature!!!

Just had a first del.sh experience. We tried the steak and kidney and the steak and potato pies. They were full of succulent meat and the pastry was spot on,crispy with a nice texture. There was more meat than potato in the m&p. Great place for a take away lunch.We will certainly be back as there was so much other goodies to be sampled. More of a take away than a restaurant.
