Delicious food, great service. We enjoyed an impromptu meal at The Eating inn. The service was attentive and friendly. The drinks were well priced and quick to arrive. The food was delicious and the menu was extremely good.

Had an amazing meal with my wife to celebrate her birthday. The food was superb, good quality, tasty (especially the ribs) and excellent value for money. The Manager, Andrew, arranged a booking for us at short notice and, on the evening, the service was perfect. We would definitely recommend this restuarant to everyone.

Visited Armaan restaurant on New Yeats eve 2024, table for 3 @ 6.30pm. The restaurant was extremely busy, we waited about 10 mins to be seated and then about 15 mins for someone to take our order, which was absolutely fine. The staff who were extremely busy and never stopped attending to people, clearing tables but throughout this they never stopped smiling and nothing was to much trouble! When the food arrived it was all hot and tasted delicious, I even told the manager how excellent his staff were. I would eat here again in an heartbeat. Well done and a Happy new Year!

Perfect for an anytime meal - tasty food and as street food style you can try lots of different flavours without filling up. A tapas style Indian restaurant in effect - delicious - the lamb curry is a favourite - lush.

Was in Manchester last Friday for a gig. Went in here with my brother and I absolutely loved it. I'm from Hull so not much of a nightlife. The atmosphere in here was absolutely brilliant, great choice of cask ales and like someone has already mentioned, it has a rock and role vibe. I love my rock music and it was fitting to end up in here after seeing a rock band play at the 02 arena. Staff very friendly and despite it been heaving service was quick and efficient. Honestly I don't get much further then Hull, and the pubs in Manchester are just worlds apart from what I'm used to, the Salisbury has left a very positive effect on me. Can't wait to visit again when I'm next in Manchester.

This is such a quirky little hidden treasure to come and eat. The lady who welcomed us was so polite and sweet. Love all the little touches. I had an omelette and a pot of tea. The omelette was delicious and I tried my partners pancake with bacon and syrup and that was gorgeous. Reasonable prices and will definitely be coming back again

We had a fantastic Saturday evening experience. We loved the food and the staff were hugely helpful and professional. We will definitely be booking our next special occasion at Pecks.

Very disappointed been coming here a long time and always look forward to a nice takeaway. But last visits the chips were cold and the fish just flopped when lifted up with a fork. Large gravy didn’t do for two and the peas were Luke warm. I feel a need for a change after a long time is now needed. What a shame thought I had it made with a first class fish and chip shop on my doorstep.

The Beef Ribs I ordered were just okay. It was more fat than meat, which meant that the taste of the meat was overwhelmed by the fat. That paired with the underseasoned meat made for what I'd describe as a mediocre meal. I'm not the biggest fan of pulled beef, so I probably wouldn't visit this establishment again, unless someone is able to convince me to try something else. Seating and atmosphere is good. It is pretty pricey, but admittedly it is filling.

What a lovely place to spend some time…the food is far too good for the price, the drinks are the best around (something for everyone!) and the staff make you feel welcome every single time. Special mention for Shirls…always looks after me, always on point with service.

Super delicious sausage and onion rolls. Amazing strawberry cheesecake and chocolate roulade. Great coffee. Very efficient and friendly service in a lovely location. Dog friendly. Highly recommend. A great place to stop whilst enjoying the Derwentwater walk.
