Came for the first time last night what a place , venue, food, service absolutely fantastic.our steaks were cooked to perfection. The buffalo wings were unbelievably fantastic would recommend best steak house around.👌👌

The food was amazing, staff very welcoming and service was great, will definitely be visiting again soon. Well worth the money for great steaks.

Having originally visited this restaurant in October 2023 and really enjoyed our meals, we visited again during the 2024 October week and had the same positive experience (we visited twice this year). This place is very different to the usual Blackpool fare, the decor is tasteful and the staff are attentive. On our first visit this year, I had the ribs as a starter and the pan-fried sea bass as a main meal (exactly the same as last year). On the second visit, I had a skewer of prawns as a starter (it was actually an optional extra to turn steak into surf and turf but they we happy to provide it as a starter) with some of their excellent house coleslaw on the side. This was followed by chicken breast in a wild mushroom sauce (see picture) To be honest, I can't praise these meals highly enough, and my wife felt exactly the same (and we're very critical eaters!). Our daughter had the ribs from the children's menu and she loved it too. I noticed that it was not just tourists eating there, there were people local to the Lancashire area having birthday meals out there on both of our visits this year, so clearly, local people are aware of the merits of this place too. Considering the quality of their offering, we found the prices very reasonable. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Blackpool and wanting something different.

What a gem of a place! Such a good find, there was 9 of us, three of them children but the staff couldn’t have been any more welcoming and nice. The inside is lovely, such a Cosy and warm feeling about the place. The food is incredible. Wish we had been staying longer and we would have definitely eaten there again!! The steaks were amazing, cooked perfectly. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Blackpool or near by.

What can I say? Quality of food was great - no problems. However....... once finished the main course we were totally ignored by the management and staff and 30 minutes later I said my piece! When ordering a £30 main course my wife wanted to swap chips for broccoli...were told "can't do that". (Can't or won't?). Very disappointing response. I had a £35 main course.....no satisfaction check. Steaks were fine - no problem. 30 minutes after we had finished our mains the manager finally came over and asked if we wanted anything else. I said that we had been ignored and not even offered desserts ...I was accused of raising my voice (which I didn't) . In summary ...food was good but our overall experience was so disappointing due to the manager's attitude. We spent £100 there ....it could have been more! BTW......the manager calling me "sweetheart" and "darling" doesn't soften the blow.

Amazing staff, there were only 2 of them as far as I could see not sure how they managed but they more than managed. Comfortable surroundings. The food, wow, I had the chicken liver and a 10oz steak. Both very nice. If I'm ever in blackpool again I'll definitely be back. Well done and thank you

It has been the best food I have eaten for ages. I loved it, and so did my family. The staff, in particular, were very sincere and helpful, they went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend this place.

Tucked away next to McDonald's on Blackpool seafront, sat under a sparkly disco ball cow... This is not where I expected to find the greatest steak I've ever eaten. I've visited steak restaurants allover the world, and this is by far the best. Their steak pie is also to die for. They were even featured in the Watrose good food guide! Always busy, it's vital to book a table in advance. I eat here everytime I visit Blackpool.

We come to Blackpool for our 4th anniversary. I said to the Mrs please, are you OK with steak but from a proper steak house. Yes she replied. Found this place on Google search. We went in, in person to book to get a feel for the place. Lovely welcome even though we were just in there to book a table. We went in to eat on 30th October 2024. From the time we stepped foot in, the experience continued to be outstanding. It wasn't just ine member of staff, if was the whole overall team who made it perfect. I had the 8oz sirloin with a side of house salad. The Mrs has lasagna. We also had both choices of garlic bread. Food was outstanding and service continued to be outstanding. Nothing and I mean nothing was too much for this amazing team. Don't walk past knowing you've read this and not going in. Just don't even think about it. Go in, experience it for yourself. You pay for quality and quality is what you get. I don't tip but I tipped £20 for the team. A message to the manager, what ever you're doing, DO NOT change. Staff are amazing. Also, lastly, I mentioned to a member of the team I've been to Marco Pierre White in birmingham, the cube. This place in Blackpool was better than Marco's in my opinion. Thanks again.

Incredible food and service, the steaks are amazing and cooked perfectly to your liking, this will be our go to restaurant whenever we visit Blackpool, we would highly recommend the place to anyone wanting quality food when visiting the area. Keep up the great work ladies and gentlemen 👌🏻

Lovely experience this evening. Food excellent as was the service. Went on recommendation and will most certainly return however will order smaller steak next time but this time my dog is loving steak on my return home 🏡.

Was there with friend,s had a steak which was excellent. Then the best sticky toffee pudding ever. Highly recomend.

Amazing food really Great service

Beautifully cooked steak and additions. Been many times as they are very good, tried the entire menu, bar spag.bol and chicken Kiev... everything else it top banana. On a positive note, whatever you chose I stake my left testicle on the fact you will have a lovely meal. Also, they swap starters around, pork belly, scotch egg style stuff from my visits... Plus I'm sure more. just means they are creative and don't resort to "Mr. Ping"... Went again see picture and had a sirloin steak, normal chips, Diane sauce. olives and large gin for my starter. Very good indeed, will be back very soon. Keep it up. Sorrento's BnB recommended.

I had pork bon bons as a starter followed by 14oz special 8 Oz sirloin with 6oz fillet and Dauphinoise potatoes. It was all excellent. It was around £50 with a drink. I will definitely be visiting again

We had a great evening at the Eating Inn last night. Had a lovely waiter who went the extra mile to make sure we were looked after (particularly as they were a little short staffed that evening). Food was great 👍 Thank you all.

Amazing food, compliments to the chef, nice atmosphere and the staff are excellent and very polite. They just need to remember just cos your on your own you still require the service level and attention given to a larger group. Only gripe I had was waiting nearly 20 mins to get someone’s attention to get my bill but put this down to them being very busy as obviously a very popular restaurant, which doesn’t surprise me, and it didn’t stop me booking in again for the following evening. Re-visit following evening must have read my earlier review staff were exceptional and again atmosphere and food was amazing. This place is best restaurant I have eaten in for a long time, was sat near the door and the amount of people re-booking as they left said it all. Thank you for the experience. Chicken Kiev to die for!!!!!

Had the fillet steak which I felt was overcooked (was cooked through even though it was ordered medium rare). Sides were okay. Wine selection was limited for a steakhouse. Service was good.

What a wonderful gem this restaurant is! We had read fantastic reviews and decided to try this restaurant for lunch. The service was impeccable, the steaks were perfectly cooked and we left very happy! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Pricy but nicey really good food had the burgers same as we had a couple of years ago they have extended the place was really good more than enough food just a little bit pricy payed £55 for 2 burgers chips 3 drinks and a pudding had a bit of a wait but nice food

Great food. Top service. Enjoyed sea bass and steak thoroughly. Came around 4 as walk in but place filled in quite quickly and some ppl were turned down because it was fully booked. Must book in advance.

Incompetent front of house aapparently. Booked a table for me and my little bro for his 25th. When i called up the day of, i was informed id made no reservation and even the call log on my phone was a figment of my imagination. Better this than blowing £150 on two steaks and finding out the kitchen is just as bad. Must do better.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal for our anniversary! Food was delicious and the service was incredible.

Steak's are so tender, you could use a spoon to cut them. The food is excellent. The price's are reasonable. Always make a point of visiting here when we come.

Went for family meal before a show, service was brilliant, food was delicious,would visit again,all freshly cooked, homemade, lovely, will return again 😊

Seated very quickly inside. Drinks orders taken and then onto food order. One of our party had set her heart on the chicken Kiev. Unfortunately they had run out. We ordered a garlic bread to share. After waiting 45 minutes, asked where our starter was. It had been missed off the order. Our mains were nearly ready so gave the starter a miss. This was unfortunate as the steak I had was excellent. I had visited miller and carter a couple of weeks before. Don't get me wrong the steak was nice, but the eating inn was absolutely superb. Would have been 5 stars except for the mistake made and the long wait.

Myself and partner visited on bank holiday monday. Wow its a Must!!!!!, well worth it very clean, amazing service and totally exeptional food. All we advised was to put bigger menus for passers by to see as its easily missed. LOOK OUT FOR IT FOLKES.!!!!!! X

My partner and me spent August bank holiday weekend in Blackpool We did all of the usual stuff (beers, pleasure beach and all that 😁) We found the Eating Inn by just looking at the menu & a passer by told us to try it out & WOW what a recommendation The food was out of this world, the staff were amazingly attentive and the atmosphere was great This is a MUST visit restaurant in Blackpool We can not emphasise that enough If you love steak it's the ONLY place to go in Blackpool FANTASTIC & CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK, MOUTH WATERING AS I TYPE

Lovely place friendly staff and food well worth the price

An absolute gem. So glad we found it! No reservation but we were one of the lucky couples who managed to get a table. A little wait but it was perfectly understandable as they were so busy. The steaks were to die for and utterly delicious, not to mention the mushrooms!! I would definitely recommend this eatery but best to book if you want a great steak meal. The desserts were fab too, not too sweet. It went perfectly with an Irish Coffee. Thanks to all the Staff, ten out of ten.

We didn't book a table but staff welcome was good and they found a table straight away, food was very good and served in good time.

We found this place just walking along the front, and I can't fault it at all. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel super welcome. We often find it difficult eating out as our son has severe learning difficulties and can be quite loud, but that wasn't an issue at all. The service was fab and the food was fresh and tasty! Highly recommend.

Very good food, drinks and service!

We walked in without a booking and were immediately welcomed by a lovely lady with a smile, shown to a table. My partner and I both ordered steak. I had Rib eye and my partner ordered fillet, both were cooked to perfection and the sauce and veg were just perfect. ALL of the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Big fan of Hawksmoor, but had a far better ribeye here. Cooked perfectly, generous sides and sauces. And the value for money is outstanding. Fast and friendly service even when the place is full.

Found this restaurant last night, had a fabulous meal so booked for a second night. It wasn't a one off, tonights food is amazing as are the staff, highly recommend. The steaks are amazing.

A truly fabulous place to eat in Blackpool. The food is excellent and the staff are really good. The place was packed today and obviously stressful for the staff trying to get everyone served. That did this very professionally with smiles on their faces and were very pleasant. Well done to the staff especially today with the heatwave we are having. The menu covers all pockets. We would highly recommend a visit whether a family meal or a romantic dinner for two. What we ordered is not in the list for recommendations. We was walk in guest, upon arrival was told there was only the front door table near the host desk, when saying no that we would find somewhere else to eat we was then offered seating upstairs.. Once seated we then proceeded to order or drinks and food, I ordered a well done steak but received medium rare steak that was burnt on the outside especially the grill marks..which my other half then ate instead as I'd already poured pepper sauce on before cutting the steak and attempting to try it. When our food originally arrive I asked for some ketchup for my jenga fries (which I liked the concept of but also felt they could have been cooked more in the centre) by the time the waiter came back with the ketchup my other half had not only finished his 8oz steak but half of the one I couldn't eat. We then proceeded to get another round of drinks and then when my other half was finished eating we asked for the bill and to pay by card, we received the bill but the waiter then went to go get the machine and proceeded to talk to another table about his tattoos to which my other half then had to interrupt the conversion to remind the waiter we was waiting to pay. Got in last minute without booking luckily there was a table available , we had 2 beautiful steaks , the waiters and waitresses were amazing and the front of house gentleman was made for that job , kind and courteous and so professional, if we are ever in Blackpool again we will be sure to come again

Thought this restaurant would be a lovely place to have dinner while we were in Blackpool. We were a 'walk in' table and we were advised they only had 1 table available right at the entrance (fair enough we understood and continued to be seated). However, the part I find completely unacceptable (considering my partner is black and he was only only person of colour in the reasturant at the time) was 4 tables of 2 turning up after us as walk ins and being given the option of other tables and tables inside the restaurant but for us they only had one table as an option which was directly opposite the host stand. We both ordered steak and was looking forward to a nice dinner, however both steaks were over cooked (both ordered medium rare and they were well done), the grill marks were too much it made it taste burnt. Overall I would not reccommend this resturant as it was not a nice feeling for me or my partner and the food was sub-par.

Absolutely love this place . 6 of us ate here we pre booked whilst away . Everything about this place was excellent . It was over a half hour walk from where we was staying but we'll worth it . Be a regular for us now when we visit blackpool. Food amazing. Friendly staff . Great atmosphere.

What an absolutely wonderful experience! The Eating Inn has ruined steak for me though because it was the best I’ve ever had and not sure I want one anywhere else.

Had a reservation for The Eating Inn and called and asked could I bring the time forward as we were all starving. Dealt with by Lucy who said it was no problem and as agreed arrived to find our table ready and we weee greeted warmly by the Staff and made to feel really welcome. We have eaten here before and are never disappointed by the experience and again this proved to be the case. Service was exemplary and the right side of being attentive without being intrusive. We were a family of 3 and we all ordered starters, which were delicious and quickly devoured. After that our mains arrived and my wife went for the Seabass and told me it was the nicest one she’d ever had (and she can be quite picky!) so I knew it was good. I went for the homemade Chicken Kiev and this is what you call a proper Kiev, not some shop bought rubbish! Plenty of Chicken ( a whole breast ) with wonderful buttery mash and garden peas making the whole dish exemplary and my daughter had the kids Chesseburger meal with chips and beans and again ate the lot. Got talking to Andy about the Steaks they offer which look absolutely divine and what a great guy he is. Explained about how they prepare and then cook the steaks and we were amazed. I strongly urge people to go and visit here and sample the fresh home made food, it’s well worth it. We will be back for my birthday if not before - thanks to Andy, Lucy and the Team for doing such a great job.

Had the most amazing fillet steak & peppercorn sauce here. Steak cooked perfectly, chips were HUGE and everything was very tasty. I left here with one very happy belly. Very reasonably priced too. Staff were brilliant - attentive, friendly and chatty. It was a most excellent dining experience. If you're local or visiting I can recommend dining here! 25.07.24 - No idea how to add a new review....4th time visiting here and OMG the food is amazeballs, my belly is sooo full & happy and 4 times they have cooked my med-rare steak perfectly!! Seriously a must visit place if you are in Blackpool

Took a trip to Blackpool and decided to eat here. Really friendly staff. Food was outstanding. Nice relaxed environment. 5 star.

Delicious food, affordable prices, unfortunately the service is poor, I didn't get to try the dessert for which I waited 40 minutes and then I asked for the bill with added cheesecake, which was not available.

I opted to dine here for our anniversary, after checking reviews on google and It lived up to all our expectations. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals going as far to say it was the best steaks we had ever eaten, we both chose steaks, a 10oz fillet and a 10oz rump. Both were cooked to perfection, medium rare, a lovely caramelised sear on the outside, moist and succulent on the inside, so easy to slice through, not having to apply any pressure with the steak knifes. The onion rings were to die for! The service was great, a lovely setting and atmosphere, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody.

We want the Tomahawk Steak originally, but they us that it’s hard to source consistently high quality ones recently. So we went for a Ribeyes instead, very impressed, lovely made. The wait was a bit long but that’s just the time to prepare a great piece of steak like this. We are very happy especially after the extremely poor experience on another close by restaurant yesterday.

Been wanting to come here for ages, and can i say im glad i did. The food was outstanding and our waitress Lucy and the rest of the team well done. To the kitchen team you deserve a pat on the back for putting out such good food. Keep it up. 💯 from me.

Beautiful inside, phenomenal staff very warm friendly and polite, and the food was absolutely out of this world. I had the patê to start and it was so smooth and delicious, followed by a beautiful fish and chips. I left very full and happy, thank you again.

Called in for graduation celebration meal and was pleasantly surprised how nice the place is as a local we tend to avoid the prom but we was glad we didn't this time staff were great and friendly great bar and steaks were perfect with the new potatoes highly recommend if you thinking bout giving this a try u won't be disappointed a true quality resturaunt

Great little place on the promenade After recommendations we came here for dinner. The steak was Devine we shared the rump , we considered the t bone but they had ran out. However it was lovely, slightly raw once you got to the middle. We ordered medium rare. But the rest was nice. Really liked the veg too and the started of garlic bread. Other starter was meatballs which my lo really enjoyed , and was filling Cocktail was super nice. Lovely pina colada. Can’t wait to go back for more steak!

Best steak I've had and the chips were lovely. The fish and bolognese were sold out as our booking was at 8pm so book early if you want these foods.

Very busy, which says a lot. The oink burger was really good but I had massive food envy as my partner had a sirloin steak, we recommend the pan fried potatoes and I will definitely be ordering steak next time I'm in Blackpool.

Found this place last year and it was wonderful food so we went to Blackpool for a few hours the other day and parked straight across the road to go back. The food (we opted for fillet steaks) was absolutely beautifully cooked and we will be back again very soon. We have had some good food in Blackpool but this place has got to be the best. Wonderful staff too and can't wait to come back.

I’d say beautiful restaurant with nice view and food is good but what ruins all that is a horrible next door sound which could be easily avoided with only one close window but they simply didn’t care as they just opened that one window when we close it to be in peace! Obvious racism was another reason that we won’t come back:)

What a great experience from the moment we entered Eating Inn and were welcomed by Donna and David and the rest of the team. It was fantastic customer service and fantastic food too on Mon 17 June at 5pm. If you are in Blackpool and want a great food experience at reasonable prices with superb service look no further…. Brilliant! Highly recommended.

One of the best places to eat near the corporate hotels of South Shore if you are there for work, let's be honest there's not a lot of choice if you are staying in the Hilton/BB/Boulevard and its only a 20 min walk. Great staff who have always accommodated us with out booking, we have never had a bad meal, they can cook a steak with a crust and it still be medium, and the red wine jus is spot on. We always try and visit if we are there overnight and hope they do well they are worth your custom.
