Clayton Street, Newcastle upon Tyne England, England
Disgusting service from this business… ordered and failed to deliver. The staff showed no remorse or attempted to resolve. Will never use this unprofessional set up again
A lovely little place between Jesmond, Heaton and the City Centre - mainly student focused but a variety of clientele and a well priced Sunday Roast menu (from 1 to 3 courses).
Market Street costa it saddens me to say has totally gone down hill big style, the shop looks shabby tiles missing from the counter boxes lying about has a feel of being dirty.. Staff slow and gave a lack- luster in Their attitude ...even yawned when serving me. Used to be a very clean shop with really good staff several years ago common Costa sort things out everything seems to be going to the dogs..
The best creamy and tender oyster i ever had. Literally melting in your mouth. I kindly inquire their chef about the sauce on the side - simply mixed with shallot and red wine vinegar. I would never forget the splendid lobster as well.
One of the few highest quality seafood bar in Newcastle I been over three times in one year.
Had the Kamikaze Chicken on ciabatta (you get to choose from an assortment of loaves/rolls), it was absolutely delicious! The staff is super friendly and helpful - I was after a sweet treat and they suggested the Biscoff crunch (which was fantastic). They have an extensive menu but also break it down into the top 20 options to help you decide. A must try!
Had brunch at Smoke & Sear and it was very tasty. I had the Steak and Eggs, the steak was juicy and cooked just right, and the sauces added a fresh, flavourful kick. The eggs were perfectly done and brought everything together.
My partner had the Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey, crispy bacon, golden hash browns, and the standout battered boiled eggs. Super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.
Great food, relaxed vibe. Definitely worth a visit.
