The best restaurants in Elswick Newcastle upon Tyne North East

This review comes after 3 visits to this takeaway. Because you might get lucky once but not thrice. The burgers each time have been great. The quality of the beef patties is bang on. The sauces are tasty and good quality. The chicken wings and chicken burgers are lovely too. Prices are reasonable. And most importantly, the burger box (pictured) in which their burgers come are the show stealer. A burger packed in that box elevates the whole burger experience. This takeaway is a great [and much needed] addition to the west end food scene. Lets hope they keep up the great quality and taste. Bravo Burger World.

Avoid this place, it looks like they just out stickers up on a run down old shop, put a cooker and coal pit and started serving food. Place is filthy, took one bite of the chicken wrap and just couldn't force myself to chew it. I should of walked out when I seen the grime build up on all the surfaces. Staff also tried to overcharge me, even after I showed them the menu. Worst food I've ever attempted to eat

Visited this hidden gem a couple of times for lunch & the food is outstanding. Restaurant quality food at very reasonable prices. It's a little out of the way but well worth the effort & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Definitely a place to visit when in Newcastle, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. No alcohol served, so don't expect a glass of wine with your meal but the food and extensive menu are to be commended.

Whatever meal you eat here is amazing. Atmosphere also excellent but their service is very poor. They treat customers partially. Especially, the one who is in charged there has no smile on his face. Sometimes, he is a bit rude too. Otherwise, it’s a good place to have a nice meal with family.

Good venue, friendly staff and atmosphere. Just remember that casinos are designed for you to lose money, but have fun doing it. Unlike some places I could mention, they don't mind you winning here, if you're lucky enough to do so. Free parking in the city centre as long as you record your reg plate on the system.

Amazing food and taste and food quality and quantity both are good and very good friendly staff

Disappointed. We've bought from here alot and it's normally good quality but last night ordered 3 large milkshakes and one came small, there wasn't even the option to buy a small one on just eat, then the nachos were vile, came with a soggy frozen southern fried chicken stake chopped n spread on top, advertised as fresh crispy chicken, came with all the toppings on top, when you buy the nachos in the shop you can add your own toppings and the cheese was just grated cheese, why they advertise it as cinema cheese I do not know, would not recommend wasting your money here for the takeaway service
