Ordered here for the first time, due to lateness and other takeaways being closed - will definitely order again! Masala was like no other, a tad on the spicy side (Wor Lass wasn’t too impressed, but that’s her anti-spice preference). Chicken Tikka was the best i’ve ever had! Overall, 8/10.

Wish I could leave a worse review but I can’t. Ordered from here at like 10:45 and just kept getting messages saying my order was delayed. At 12pm when everywhere was closed they finally canceled the order. So I’m left with no food and everywhere is closed. Complete joke of a restaurant. Complete pathetic excuse for service. Highly recommend you avoid and I will be leaving a poor review every day until they respond or hit zero stars.

Food was late and cold. Two items were also wrong. I got pakora instead of onion bhaji and chicken tikka masala instead of chicken tikka.

I would like to compare this restaurant amongst three points - Food, Money, Hygiene 1. The quality of food was very good and has brilliant spicy. The quantity was sufficient for one person. 2. In terms of money, I found it very cheaper restaurant in Newcastle - Any half dish of £4.99 (as of 16-Jun-2024). 3. The Hygiene - Very very very bad. No cleaned cutlery, bad sofas, dirt all over the sofas. Tissue papers were all yellowish. Recently, Bites of India cancelled my online order after 10 minutes of waiting. So, it's time to switch to other Restaurant (You can try My Delhi Newcastle (Expensive but worth it!!))

Terrible food, I've ordered prawns 65 and they sent chilly chicken. And the worst part, they call white rice with chicken bits in it as "Fried Rice"

Yeah it's alright. Friendly enough staff. Foods alright. Price is good. Didn't knock my socks off but its a decent takeaway in an area that has a few 'not so good' takeaways. I recommend it as a possibility on your list.

Big servings and cooked to perfection

Great for take-out if you're craving some "really spicy" and delicious Indian food for a good cost. Unhygienic and unappealing for sit-in, the sofa's were very dusty and not clean, the utensils and cutlery were disgustingly greasy and still had dirt even after asking for cleaner ones. The tissues had some yellowish stains left after wiping with a wet tissue, makes me wonder about the hygiene conditions in the kitchen - where the diners cannot see.

New Update: We had bad experience with this place in the recent months. Once we ordered food from their website and the order got auto cancelled after 30 mins with no explanations Once we went for a pickup , they made us wait more than an hour and told us the item was not available and moved on without even a apology or an acknowledgment at the inconvenience it caused the customer. Definitely not recommending this place The management needs to be more respectful. We opted for chicken karahi and chicken tandoori masala, both of which were good . The chicken tikka wrap was also a delightful treat. The prices were also affordable.

Got Uber take away, ordered few dishes all are quite tasty with fresh ingredients. Very reasonable prices and good portion sizes. Veg Manchurian was little spicy but tastes good. Biryani and samosa chat are delicious.

I ordered paneer butter masala and the gravy was the authentic one as it is authentically supposed to be. The gravy was greasy and paneer pieces were also very less which is not worth the price. And the naan was not naan it was tandoori roti greased with butter. The food was not at all price worthy

Gutted. I love this take away but for the first time ever the rice tasted different, the tikka wasn't good (chicken wasn't juicey) and the dansak was tasteless. I have raved about this take away to family friend as the quality has been consistent But not tonight. I have thought for a while that they must have different chefs on each night as the presentation and taste often varies. Usually still good, but now I'm not inclined to order as I can't be guaranteed I get the good chef/s. So disappointed as I thought I'd found the new best place.

I had such a great time at the South Indian food joint! The food was amazing, and the prices were totally reasonable. As soon as I walked in, the smell of spices got me excited for what was to come. Every dish was full of flavor and made with care, showing off the best of South Indian cooking. Plus, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making the whole meal even better. Whether you're a die-hard fan of South Indian cuisine or just looking for something new to try, this place is a winner!

Don't trust this company or its affiliates i.e. Jai's Phone Palace. The illegal immigrant owner of this company attempted to steal my passport and use the data for fraudulent purposes. And he has no clue on indian food whatsoever. Absolute morons. Why try to steal my passport information

Food a few minutes late but the flavour of the dishes more than made up for the slight wait. The Tarka Daal and Chick Pea dishes were particularly tasty. Will definitely be back!

I ordered a takeaway of Lamb Sheek kebab and a Railway Curry with lamb. The sheek kebab was one small kebab cut in two so I had 2 small pieces which were served with some fried onions. A dipping sauce would have been nice. The curry flavour was delicious but there was only 4 tiny (and I mean tiny) pieces of lamb. I ended up with a box of rather tasty gravy and some rice - just as well I ordered a couple of chapatti's which were also nice. The place was very odd. I walked in to what I thought was going to be an indian restaurant only to find some guys running a chicken shop - frying and flavouring chicken in the front shop while the Indian kitchen was in the back. I was offered a tatty menu and the "chicken guy" took my order and handed it through. I waited 25 mins for my food to be cooked. No receipt offered and I left. Would I visit again - NO! The hygiene standards of the chicken shop guys (well one in particular) left a lot to be desired. No gloves - handling fresh and frozen food with bare hands and never washing them - tossing food in bowls without washing them before or after. One of the guys was OK - he was using gloves and also a heat probe on the cooked food. will i be having the chicken from this place - NO!

I started to get frustrated as my delivery was about 50 minutes late. However, when the food arrived, all my frustration melted away - the food was absolutely fantastic and certainly worth the wait. I ordered a few "half portions" and these were very generous. Would have rated 5 star, only down side was the wait

Quality food at very competitive prices. Have ordered twice here recently, through the Uber Eats App. We live close to the airport and delivery has been fine. The food will not disappoint. Interesting menu. We have loved everything so far. The Bhatura bread, with or without the chole… oh my days! Amazing.

The best indian food here! I was visiting the UK from India itself, and I did not miss my home country once. The food, service and cost is amazing. Very clean and they treat you like family. I recommend the choley Bhature, Dosa's and paneer dishes!!!

The slowest delivery you can find. First time I ordered it was 30 mins late, today it was over an hour late. The same excuse our driver is on another delivery. Get more drivers guys, or use uber eats drivers itself. The management was replying to me about everything and every excuse but as soon as i told them the food was delivered cold thats it the conversation finished at that very moment. Definitely wont be ordering again and wont let anyone who i know do it.

Food delicious but cold. Delivery was shocking. It is one thing to be lost. Another for the Delivery driver to be lost refuse to accept he is lost and argue with you that he is outside your house when clearly he wasn't since I was at the door. It took him calling me 5 times for me to finally get my food.

Delivery was terrible; took 40mins to do a 15min journey. By which time I'd called several times and complained/ asked what was going on. By then, when the food arrived, it was lukewarm at best and not appealing. Lettuce was browning in the wrap and the chips were awful. Pretty rubbish all round. Would not recommend

Where do I start?! From customer service to the food itself. Oh my, it was absolutely amazing. I have never ordered before but I will 100% be ordering again. Ainthentic indian food from starters to mains it was faultless. One of the best curries I've had in a long time.

Once again I loved my curry. The chicken was perfect and the spices also perfect. I now only order from Bites of India as I trust the quality and taste. Absolutely delicious food and very generous portions, we have leftovers for lunch too! The service was second to none and staff super kind and friendly. The dhal was the most delicious one Ive ever had. I'd fully recommend!

I can't say enough about this place. Delicious food, super cute messages on the lids (they know what I mean). I have never had a bad dish, I pick new dishes that I've never heard of on the trust that they know how to make amazing sauces. Hey a) thank you for that pot of something, it was delicious, like a sweet bean porridge (what is it called?) b) if you ever decide to run cookery classes then please let me know, I would love to be taught how to cook by you as my own efforts are rubbish

Lovely curry again and got a call which was really nice to ask what tikka masala i wanted indian or normal. I went for the indian style and was not disappointed! so much flavour and not sweet. Thank you again for one of the best curries ive had in a long time.

Curry was less sweet than a normal Pathia but very tasty with just the right amount of heat. only downside with the meal was that the Naan Bread and Onion Bhaji's were cold when they arrived though still very tasty
