Shawarma Fattoush in Newcastle upon Tyne

This is my second visit the first visit food was ok fresh and delicious but today the food was from previous day or week i orderd batata haraa but the potatoes was fully oil and easily you can tell its from yesterday or 2 days ago i orderd showrmaa and the chickens same old and not fresh same to shish taooqa i left the food and pay 33 pound for food not nice old and prepared few days ago really bad experience

The food is delicious, the service is very good and the cleanliness is excellent.

We have ordered a different takeaway each Tuesday to eat as a family watching BakeOff. Of all the ones so far, Fattoush has been the best. Most popular, DEFINITELY best value, and loads leftover, to eat tomorrow, as "leftovers" We had the mega grill. 50 quid, but 20% off for collection so only £39.99 Easily fed 5 of us. If I were to criticise.... I'd say it needs salad and more sauces, but since we had some salad and sauces in the fridge it was perfect and we kept the cost down. Plenty of meat, not for herbivores. Heavy on chicken, more lamb would give it 6 stars... But compared with previous BakeOff takeaways, we have a "STAR" takeaway. Thank you Fattoush. Will be back.

We bought food from the TooGoodToGo app. The meal was listed as £15 normal price and discounted to £5. The description was a selection of Lebanese dishes left at the end of the day. I bought 2 boxes and paid £10. When I picked up the boxes they had the cheapy frozen oven chips and pickles. I would have even paid £5 for it. I understand that it’s from a discount app but I didn’t see the point in driving 15 miles to pick up a box a chips when the offer was Lebanese food. Will not be returning.

The most pathetic experience I have had ordering food from here. When I did not receive the food order I called the restaurant and they had no idea about the order and they lied saying the food has sent over. Then they blamed it on the driver saying the driver is busy and doesn't know when the food would arrive . When I insisted that the food would be cold they mention that the food was not sent too long ago. No accountability and pathetic service!!!!

Awesome place to eat! Always loved eating here, lunch or dinner! Feels like home, from the welcome, the service and the atmosphere - full of warmth. Needed a quick refuel late at night, so went for a lamb shawarma wrap with chips to takeout, instead changed my mind to eat in and the staff brought over homemade sauces, to make it feel like a fine in - food to die for! Highly recommended!

Incredible food - first time trying but won’t be our last order. Got a Fattoush special mixed grill and a few bits on the side and will still be eating it tomorrow as portion was huge! Really tasty!

im disapointed to be fair paid 50 quid got very little iv always loved fatoush i ordered same thing a year ago nd portions matched the price but now tonight the mixed grill was feeble nd all food was cold chips grill bread i had to reheat them so disapointed!!

Hands down one of the best shawarma and falafel in Newcastle. the flavours are immaculate and the proportions are perfect. The food is always fresh and isn’t greasy

First time ordering from here. We went for delivery via Uber eats and it was an hour late and feeezing cold. I wouldn’t be to bothered about it being late if it was still hot, but it wasn’t. Won’t be ordering from here again 👎🏻👎🏻

We were regular customers for many years, but the last time we visited, we decided this is the last time. Food doesn't taste like it was cooked by a chef. The salad was the worst i have ever had. The grilled fish was burned and the mixed shawrma was not fresh. Service was bad. I asked not to add a specific herb due to an allergy, but they didn't fulfill my request. We were not informed of the fact that they only accept cash payments instead of card payments.

i order online and staff r relatively nice, sometimes dont listen when i ask for no mexican sauce as it is too spicy, delivery driver is rude depending who u get, i get this one man who just stares angrily and gives u dirty looks, i rlly like this restaurant but thst driver is not nice st all

1hr 20 mins to arrive.Chips and breads were cold, mixed grills where not very warm. I have ordered from them multiple times but on this occasion, despite spending over £65, there was no chilli or garlic sauces provided which was quite disappointing.

Avoid The service here is awful, and the food is both overpriced and terrible. The cashier lady was extremely rude and exhibited racist behavior. I ordered 4 shawarma testy wasn’t nice and it was extra Salt.

Fantastic food and great atmosphere, the food is high quality and very reasonable prices.

Bought 2 wraps and they took ages! Get home and both are burnt!! Waste of money ! how can you burn a wrap you must really be clueless lot in there !

Delivery time stated was max an hour and 10 mins and it was still 30 minutes late!!! Main course cold and salad warm. Pointless. Don't bother.

Food turned up freezing, chips are stale and inedible, wrap was freezing with chewy stale meat and the garlic sauce tastes weird, 17 quid for nothing, only thing that was warm was the Fanta and that’s the thing you want cold. Just the cherry on the cake

Rice is not good at all , I was shocked as I always order your rice but this time itis very obvious that this is not fresh rice with bad smell we couldn’t eat it .

Did not show up at all despite having prepayed via card, spoke to a very dismissive employee who informed me it would be another 5 mins having taken non of my details other than it was a delivery. I then attempted several times to call back with no reply and still no food with everywhere else now shut

The rice was very stale. It smelt horrendous and we had to bin. We.like the place but I am afraid, this is off my list. We can't, no one should take a chance with stale food.

One of the best restaurants and great service

Twice ordered from here and both times they missed part of the order. They did drop the missing food off 45mins later.

I got a shawarma and i found some hair in it and this is not the first time because couple of days ago i ordered a flafel sandwich and it was horrible and i have also found some hair in the sandwich.

Absolutely shocking day where I went for an Arabic shawarma portion take out collection. I got home opened the portion took the first bite and there was a hair in the bite. Would not recommend it for anyone as this is the second time me facing like this situation from the same restaurant. What a disgusting experience.

Ordered from here loads of times and never had an issue but today i had hummus and found a metal bar inside my hummus could of died if i wouldn’t of feel it inside my mouth rang up the restaurant and they had the audacity to ask me back for the food and said that the refund will be issued then. Food has changed alot, went down hill. Potion sizes now smaller and no taste. Ordered and sauce was missing and bread. Very dissapointing

£20 for a box of cold hard dry chicken so called shawarma and cold shop bought bread. This place used to be great . Don’t bother .

wanted to add to order so rang the restaurant (since couldn't do via just eat) they added item no problem but said I would need to pay cash for it s couldn't take card payment? fair enough but when arrived driver had no change so had to pay £10 for a £6.50 shawarma wrap, which itself was low on chicken and bulked up with chips (not detailed in description). shame as enjoy the food just not worth the extra it cost me...

Wonderful gem of a restaurant on the West Road. The food is delicious whether eaten the restaurant or bought for take out. The flavours are unmistakably Middle Eastern. While eating in the restaurant, the atmosphere takes you to the Middle East with staff speaking Arabic amongst themselves and Fairuz the Great playing in the background. This is our favourite Lebanese and we do recommend it.

All food was cold. Delivery driver was very nice but very lost. I have all call logs and time scale of calls to back up fact.

Ideally I’d like to leave a positive review but unfortunately the diced chicken was not up to the usual standards parts of the wrap was still clucking on a positive note the hot sawwwce was hot hot I was threading the needle within a few hours but if you ask Dean killen about how long I was occupied on the lav for he would suggest the hot saaawce was to hot hot but what does that vegan muppet ken

The Just Eat app initiallyessed my oder up & sent my order to my partners address. The driver brought the freezing cold meal to my address afterwards. I had to microwave the meat and honestly this was the most disgusting shawarma I have ever tried. Very low quality chicken full of cartilages. Doesn't even taste like shawarma. Not a patch on any other shawarma on Just Eat!

Unfortunately the chicken shawarma was not good. I finished my shift late at night and got the last orders in. The chicken was dry and tasteless. Overall lacked flavour to an expensive meal. I think the time of day should not affect the quality of the food you serve! Such a shame because I have heard good things.

Orderd food from here. awful food . lam shawrma was dry and burned with full of cinammon spice ,havnt tasted the meat at all. chips were horrible old and dry was like a spounge. never go back again.waste of money.

I order mixed wrap with cheese but got the worst wrap ever due to raw meet and bad quality lamb meat. There was no chicken with my wrap. Very disappointed

Went this Sunday 4 of us, should have done a booking but luckily got a free table . A new staff was probably been added and was being trained , she did her best while one of her colleague was there to support if anything went wrong . They had 3 staff members in front and after serving food each of them asked "How's everything" 2 times , altogether 6 times ...was about to laugh out loud if there was 7th😂 3 things i loved amd will suggest is the Mix biryani, mix grill and the desert mahalabieh... or something

I have visited several times, trying various items, and I like their food. However, it is worth noting that the food tends to be a bit dry. If you are not a fan of dry food, you might find it challenging to eat; however, the wraps are a juicy alternative. So, you can try the wrap instead. Alternatively, you can add more sauces to customize it according to your preferences. Also, I would like to mention that I have tried the chicken items here, so I don't know about beef or lamb. My friend tried the beef, and he found it not tasty. Personally, I have no issue with dry food and find their dishes delicious. The waiting time was around 30 minutes, so make sure you have enough time if you are planning to visit. The service was good overall, but on my last visit, I encountered one less experienced staff member. I think she was new and didn't know what to do or about the menu. She seemed confused and took a longer time to respond. However, the other waiters were helpful and active, so it’s okay. The prices of the food items are reasonable, and there is free street parking available near the restaurant. I parked my car near the restaurant. It is a kid-friendly place.

I’ve been looking for a cheap Lebanese restaurant for a while now and am completely happy with my order. The shawarma is perfect and the delivery only took 20 minutes. My new go to. Thanks guys

Very disappointed, I have been here a few times and food was perfect but this time was terrible, the chicken and lamb was very hard to chew, Hummus was sour, unfortunately even when explaining to staff they had nothing to say about it, won’t be coming back
