I visit Hartlepool from London several times a year and always make a beeline for this lovely cafe. The staff are friendly and the coffee is delicious - they know how to make a decent espresso which isn't a given in many cafes. I recommend the gorgeous vegan chocolate sponge pudding - ask them to heat it up. Goes nicely with coffee. Thankyou to all the staff.

Been in every day except sunday in last 7 days food was really good taste and service was exceptional been working just around the corner will use them whenever im in the area. Thanks to all the staff

First time in the dancing cup, went in for breakfast. Lovely coffee, and you can tell the food is freshly cooked. Lovely atmosphere.

The food is really beautiful in here and the surroundings are just lovely. I especially love the art work by local artists on the walls. The waitresses are really nice and friendly . It's a shame it never seems busy.

Once again on a weekend visit to Hartlepool this restaurant ticks all the boxes boxes for a fine Sunday Lunch. No frills done very well and fabulous young and enthusiastic staff make it a pleasure to eat here.

We had not been here for about 3 years and called in just by chance today. We both had milkshakes; my husband had the regular banana and I had the ‘Million Dollar’ banoffee shake. They were both fantastic, very flavourful and made with fresh ingredients (I could see the bananas being peeled from where I was sitting). Our server was called Hollie and she couldn’t have been nicer. We will definitely be returning, thank you.

Ordered my usual Chicken Korma , Onion rice. The Rice was horrible.Everyone knows the plastic taste of Bens Microwave Rice. Tasted like it to me. Nothing like the rice I'd enjoyed in the past from this establishment.

Since I was recommended here 9 month ago I won’t go anywhere else, nowhere comes close. Always friendly, great prices and quality food. Worth the 30 mile round trip for sit in and takeout!

Three of us visited for lunch and had appalling service from Mr Lambert. Staff member put order through wrong (genuine mistake) but Mr L was obviously displeased we didn't want the incorrect order. Brought a new bill immediately, correct order took a lot longer. The quality of the third fish was atrocious. Half the thickness, and not as white. Sent back, I'm not eating substandard fish when rest of party more than half way through their meals. No apology. Lost sale and lost customers. Much better at Surfside, go there instead.
