Masala Lounge Indian Restaurant in Hartlepool

Since I was recommended here 9 month ago I won’t go anywhere else, nowhere comes close. Always friendly, great prices and quality food. Worth the 30 mile round trip for sit in and takeout!

Food is amazing always served hot and well presented good value for money curry dishes are full off flavour staff are really friendly and always well, mannered restaurant is clean definitely recommend is you want a good Quality curry one off my favourite restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ keep the good work up guys 👍

The chicken tikka masala tasted of nothing but coconut and the rest of the food was cold

Food was cold, chips were cold and hard.

Food was absolutely incredible defo saving this for a favourite for next time I would 100% recommend 👌

the food was excellent, we ordered a wide range of dishes and each was lovely. I had a lamb pathia and it was perfect in texture, spice, sweetness and the lamb was cooked beautifully.

Considering I'm on deaths door currently and barely able to stomach food, this Lamb Rogan Josh was an absolute godsend for both my tastebuds and my sinuses! My partner had the Chicken Tikka Masala which again was absolutely gorgeous, delivery driver was professional and delivered our food with a smile. Absolutely will be back again hopefully when I can actually finish a full dish! All in all, the nicest Indian food I have had in a very long time. Well done to the team!

had to ring restaurant to find were order was. When order finally arrived it was awful, full of oil and salt. Terrible service and food..never again

Placed an order which didn’t arrive until over 2 and a half hours. When I viewed the restaurant it said 50-65 minutes for delivery. Once I placed the order this updated to 1h30-1h50. It arrived later than that and it was cold with a missing naan

Lovely meal with the exception of the chips, they were unfortunately freezing cold

Food was delicious and piping hot, delivery was early. Good portion for money. Putting curry sauces in those metal containers might not be the best option though. The metal bends very easily so could easily spill. Other than the container though was great.

I ordered the food about 6pm last night. The delivery took over 2 hours. On the positive side the food was fantastic, so I’ll use again, but probably pick it up.

When ordering was informed immediately there would be a delay however it didn't seem much longer than expected. Food Always worth the wait anyway

Opted for collection they thought it was for delivery we ordered at 6.30 to pick up 7 eventually got delivered 8.15 however when we got it the quality was superb as it always is

I ordered it at around 19.10 ,but is taking to long very disappointing, still not arrived and is now 21 01

Masala lounge has become our favourite place for food, either eating in or takeaway. The food is consistently 10/10 and is undoubtedly the best Indian food we have had. Their chicken tikka paneer starter is unbelievable!

We were on holiday in Turkey and a guy from Hartlepool recommended this restaurant to us. We were a party of 5 as soon as we walked in the door we were met by friendly staff. The food was amazing and the size of the portions for the price was incredible. I can’t wait to go back. Well done for a lovely evening.

Food is absolutely beautiful when I got it and I understand they are busy but when I order it then look on just eat 40 mins after it said it was going to be delivered in another hour and half that’s the only thing I can fault with delivery 2 hours before it came that’s the only bad thing the food is absolutely spot on I’ll definitely be visiting again hopefully be a bit quicker

Food was delicious, chicken karia was hot , loads of tender chicken pieces and generous portions. We also had chicken tikka balti, again delicious. Good value for your money.

Great tasting food, the only thing was, the menu isn't up to date, online and in the restaurant it says £9.50 for a 5 course dinner, only to be surprised with the bill saying its now £11.50, the menu should be updated or the staff should tell you of any increase or changes,this is how they catch you out,it was the only thing that annoyed me, otherwise, good food .

mint yoghurt for starter was everywhere due to the lid not applied properly everything was ruined due to both curries where crushed and also leaked everywhere and bag of chips ripped and covered in all products due to leakaged total disappointment

Enjoyed one of the best curry's I have had in Hartlepool. Chicken tikka chat was the best ever and for main, The balti was packed with flavour with just a lovely hit of spice. I cannot fault my experience with exceptional service in a well run and lovely clean and tidy environment . All finished off with a refreshing pint or 2 of Cobra. This was on Friday when the special was on and there was no compromising on the quantity of food provided, both dishes packed with chicken. If you have never been it is definitely somewhere you should try. I hope like me you will be impressed and it will now be my goto Indian in the town

When I rang there was no apology to little gesture for apology or anything not so much as free drinks just ok won't be long half hour past and said it be there I ordered 1835 it arrive 2020 almost 2 hours later

Great food, great service at a very reasonable cost

By far the nicest Indian I’ve tasted in Hartlepool. I even asked for a few alterations on the deal and masala lounge done this for me no problem. Chips were outstanding and the flavours from the chicken tikka chilli masala were out of this world. Thank you massla lounge

Always go here. However, the past few weeks has seen an almost 50% increase in price with a reduction in portion size. Otherwise, really nice food!

My daughter and I say you get the best chicken Tikka Masala in Hartlepool. The staff are friendly and we’ve always received food hot and tasty.

Curry was angin and chips weren’t fresh at all.. all food was stone cold and disgusting!
