Brilliant service Halal food fresh food made to order definitely a return and definitely recommend

Tried the recently introduced Curry Wraps. Highly reccomded as the taste was great. Chips and curry sauce wrapped in a Naan.

Food was amazing, cooked just right. Taste of the food was the best I’ve tasted for a while

Indians was nice but disappointed on the cheesy chips n tandoori chicken. Was just a sprinkle of cheese not enough to say cheesy chips. Apart from that everything else was fine

Worst Indian in Hartlepool. Food was freezing cold and tasteless. Lamb was chewy. Dips were like water. Most of it went in the bin and we re-ordered from Dine at home.

Chips were dry and warmed up. Garlic naan didn’t taste of garlic. Mixed kebab was very greasy

First time ordering from here and will defo order again. Food was lovely, delivered early and everything was actually in the bag! I cannot get food delivered from my usual Indian because they always forget something so that was a bonus 🤣. Poppadoms were a little overdone for my liking and had a burnt taste, but overall very nice food

No spice to any of the food at all. I get chicken balti from everywhere and it's meant to be spicy but it was tasteless. Peshwari naan hardly had anything inside so was pretty much a plain naan. Left most of what we ordered

Absolutely vile, ordered the desi donner box with madras sauce. Donner meat tasted awful and there was only a few pieces of chicken tikka in it, chips were soggy and they sent masala sauce instead of madras. Other than that it was sound. Won't be ordering again in a hurry.

first time ordering from here amazing food I got the munch box as I like a bit of everything hands down the best indian food I've had since moving to hartlepool! very polite staff! definitely value for money and extremely yummy! also arrived half an hour early I couldn't belivie it from order to delivery was half an hour! I will be making this my regular from now on 10/10 thanks guys

Delivery time was exceptional, food arrived hot and delicious. Had a slight misunderstanding about the spice level in the curry, but when I contacted them, they were eager to correct it and sent a new one out immediately. Can’t recommend highly enough.

As always the food from Chilli N Spice is delicious. The Tandoori Bhuna Masala and the Hariali are amazingly good and definitely worth a try ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was perfectly cooked, hot on delivery and I forgot to add a naan to my order and I ordered this by calling them and they were more than happy to go out their way to deliever just one item when they didn’t need. Great food. Great service. Great people.

You will never find a nicer family run takeaway that serves the most authentic home cooked style Asian food. Portions are so filling and always such good value for money always get my deliveries early and mess free. Definitely try chilli n spice if your going to get Indian😇

Really nice food they where on time

We didn’t like it curry’s were bland, dhal was so salty it was inedible, samosas were undercooked some parts were ok but overall I feel ripped off £40 for a treat night in the bin.

Food was lovely as usual, the driver was very kind and rang my mobile when i didnt hear the door great service and wonderful food.

Was nice and fresh and warm really enjoyed it and value for money

Everything tasted the same, very bland, curry was watery. No spice at all, and several things were missing completely.

Will not be ordering again. Vindaloo was literally spilled all over the bag so not packaged properly, the sauce that was left in container was cold. The naan was not garlic and just dry, awful all round!

Received the wrong order- was given a chicken tikka masala instead of chicken tikka madras.

I normally order from here, however I rang prior to placing an order to discuss the alternative. Item was delivered and no alternative was done, therefore I rang the shop.. To be honest they did rectify it, however asked that the delivery driver show me the ORIGINAL receipt where I requested the changes!!!

Got a desi donner box today at 5pm was disgusting I think it had been warmed up from last night’s leftovers dry as a bone

Arrived 30min earlier than expected, food was delicious and red hot as though I’d just took it out of the oven. Brilliant would not hesitate in ordering again. Defo recommend.

Mine and gf guts have been killing all day. Clearly something dodgy going on in them curries. Naan n rice was nice but the curries nothing special and must be some dodgy bacteria going about. Start dishing out some freshly made curries man yee want fresh herbs and ingredients no reheated disgusting stuff. I wouldn't go here again.

Ordered the thali. Curries were nothing special guts have been killing all day. On the toilet all morning rotten stuff. Must be some bacteria going about in this place. I've had plenty of curries and yes I'm usually on the toilet but not all day. Very poor. Wouldn't come back.

Usually the food is really nice from here. But the mixed starter kabab smelled funny and tasted off. Which made me feel unwell. Everything els was ok but won’t be ordering again. Very disappointed.

WOW !! Been eating Indian food since I was 14. This is by far the WORST Indian meal I have ever eaten, I’m 45 now. The jars in the supermarkets taste better. I won’t be ordering again

Only leaving a review as the young delivert driver asked me to. Ordered a Lamb rogan josh and chicken tikka masala which were very tasty overall. Only issue was the poppadoms were soft and the naan was way too crispy and just broke apart rather than tearing. It was bordering on being burnt and I couldn't taste any garlic. Shame as this was my goto take away many years ago as the food was consistently amazing. Will probably try an alternative take away now.

Ordered a kebab box, as I had a nanbab once at another Indian and this sounded the same. It arrived on time, the food was really nice and hot. Only small gripe was the nan had a slight burnt taste to it which sometimes happens in an authentic oven. This is up in my top 3 Hartlepool Indians. And no.1 for this dish. Recommended and will order again.

Foods always great but tonight was absolute insanely good. The chef deserves a bonus

Firstly , the food that I ordered was a tandoori thali. The popadoms and sauce for the special didn’t turn up with delivery. I rang the takeaway and they eventually delivered the sauce but no popadoms (which I paid for). As a sorry gesture I didn’t receive any compliments from the takeaway and got a barely warm curry sauce. The food I had previously ordered had to be put into the oven to keep warm meaning it was dry when it came to eating it. I won’t be returning unless something can come of this. I’m not one to complain but it’s ruined my Saturday night.

I ordered the chicken tikka wrap and it was so nice, it was so full of chicken and chips it was hard to eat like a wrap. Well worth the money.

Worst takeaway I've ever had, will not definitely order from there again, salad on top of hot food is recipe for disaster. Cold chips, tasteless chicken tikka. Melted salad.

Friendly service over the phone advised us what to ask for, delivered amazing curry piping hot, portion was huge, ideal for sharing. Great value, great quality, new favourite place to go.

If I could give this 0 stars I would!! The food arrived and it was appalling. The lamb madras was just 8 lumps of small fat! The rice was tasteless and the poppadoms stale. I rang up and the young girl said ‘she didn’t know what do about it’. No apology. I said I’d like a refund and she said it needed to be done via HartlepoolEats. I then rang and spoke with a different person, a man who was extremely argumentative and said ‘ listen up’ and that ‘if you buy Asda you return it’ not quite sure what he wanted me to do, scrape the food out of the bin and drive to their shop and do what? Still not get my refund. If they wanted the food back that badly they should have arranged to a driver to collect it and bring me a cash refund! Will never order from these again: and I’ll ensure no one I know does either!
