unreal food, i got the thursday night special 👌good portions for the price also. I ordered my food at 9:37 it arrived at 10:00, piping hot 10/10 would order again

Ordered takeaway for collection, was ready in 30 mins and tasted very fresh. Lovely Sunday set menu, stuffed as always!

Ordered the thali. Curries were nothing special guts have been killing all day. On the toilet all morning rotten stuff. Must be some bacteria going about in this place. I've had plenty of curries and yes I'm usually on the toilet but not all day. Very poor. Wouldn't come back.

Only leaving a review as the young delivert driver asked me to. Ordered a Lamb rogan josh and chicken tikka masala which were very tasty overall. Only issue was the poppadoms were soft and the naan was way too crispy and just broke apart rather than tearing. It was bordering on being burnt and I couldn't taste any garlic. Shame as this was my goto take away many years ago as the food was consistently amazing. Will probably try an alternative take away now.

Ordered a kebab box, as I had a nanbab once at another Indian and this sounded the same. It arrived on time, the food was really nice and hot. Only small gripe was the nan had a slight burnt taste to it which sometimes happens in an authentic oven. This is up in my top 3 Hartlepool Indians. And no.1 for this dish. Recommended and will order again.

Chilli and spice wow, fantastic it was cooked right on time. Chicken tikka masala was lush. Highly recommended 👌. Staff is very friendly and helpful 👍.

If I could give this 0 stars I would!! The food arrived and it was appalling. The lamb madras was just 8 lumps of small fat! The rice was tasteless and the poppadoms stale. I rang up and the young girl said ‘she didn’t know what do about it’. No apology. I said I’d like a refund and she said it needed to be done via HartlepoolEats. I then rang and spoke with a different person, a man who was extremely argumentative and said ‘ listen up’ and that ‘if you buy Asda you return it’ not quite sure what he wanted me to do, scrape the food out of the bin and drive to their shop and do what? Still not get my refund. If they wanted the food back that badly they should have arranged to a driver to collect it and bring me a cash refund! Will never order from these again: and I’ll ensure no one I know does either!

I double checked with the staff what this menu entailed, whilst I thought itcwas too good to be true, it was. Prawns, chicken, lamb & shish Allington the same bag. No salad, red or mint sauce. My son has seafood allergy😡🌸

i don't know what they used as chicken, but I've never seen any chicken like it.... it looked like turkey twizzlers but was grizzel and tasted vile...... i took a photo but don't know how to up load it.... the sause was fine but the chicken was disgusting

Fairly quick service but found the curries were a bit watery and bland.

So I received the wrong meat in my curry asked for lamb and got chicken and the curry had absolutely no flavour. Boyfriend had about 5 bits of lamb in his. Onion Barjis was burnt so that's all you could taste. Food was lukewarm. We order from here all the time and love it but tonight we are very disappointed. I had 2 mouthfuls of my curry and didn't want anymore. Not impressed! How hard is it to read a simple order and get it right????!!!! Knew I should have opted for a Chinese.

Food really tasty - piping hot and dish was packed with chicken! If I was being really picky would say a bit more sauce in the dish would have been nice as it was all meat (I know most people would prefer it this way) but can’t fault the taste!

i ordered the thali none vegetable with chips last night and the food arrived on time and piping hot and was beautiful and would reccomend to friends,only problem was the tandoori chicken and mushroom bhaji where missing from the order,i tried ringing but with it being near closing time i couldnt get an answer

Curry was really lovely, we got a tika chicken korma with chips and keema naan for 9 quid. The only think I can complain about and its only a very slight complaint, the chips where more wedge shaped than chip shaped but other than that. Spot on for value and reward in the delectable flavours. Order from here you won't be disappointed!!!

Food was late, everything was cold. Still tipped the driver as not his fault. Chips were uncooked lumps of potato and there was about 3 pieces of meat in the masala and it was swimming in water I wouldn’t eat here again for Charity

Order the 5 course special, and it was honestly the best Indian meal I've had in years!

Great food but a little disappointed that the diet coke as advertised on the menu is actually light taste coca cola which is absolutely awful. This is not Diet coke and I think the menu should be changed to reflect the actual drink which is being sold.

Order was wrong and they couldn't rectify this for another 15 minutes after when the other food would be cold and spoilt

Well I’m glad I had a voucher and didn’t pay full price... about 6 small pieces of chicken in wrap and were as dry as sticks , wrap/naan fell to pieces so couldn’t actually eat like a wrap and chips were barely cooked. Mint (or what was supposed to be mint) sauce was like water and tasteless. Won’t be back...

Re-heated chips ? and watery curry with not much flavour at all. Reminded me of the slimmingworld curry in tubs from Iceland. Not much else to say unfortunately. The naan was nice but that was all. Really disappointing. First time we'd tried this one.

Good prices and selection of dishes

£6.20 for 9 little cubes of over cooked lamb tikka, king prawn Balti not bad, mushroom pilau awful, the keema Naan an abomination.

First choice when ordering, but the last few times there's always being something missing from the order. Food is always delicious and on time but if you want all your food to arrive together I would try somewhere else.

I placed order 8-15 pm estimated delivery 9-35 .. 9-50 I ring shop they shocked I've not received my delivery. ...delivery arrives i ask driver how long has my food been in car he says 15 minutes I'm lit rally 5 minutes up the road from shop..driver said shop said deliver owt on manor 1st so I call shop explaining food is look warm nanny break cold and soggy asked to be reimbursed they offered me fresh order I said no I've waited over 1 hour very unprofessional that's nan bread

Used Just Eat to order this meal, took over an hour, the driver argued with my husband about the delivery time when challenged, food wasn't hot, onion bhajis cold and my prawn bhuna (definition of a bhuna is 'meat added to spices and then cooked in its own juices which results in deep strong flavours but very little sauce. The restaurant bhuna is a well spiced curry with a thick sauce'. This bhuna was gelatinous, no spices whatsoever, in fact no taste whatsoever. I ate the rice instead. Very very poor

We had friends tound on Friday for an Indian takeaway. One of our friends is vegetarian and I wanted to ensure she had plenty of choice so I ordered Veg Thali as well as Special King Prawn Curry, Chicken Tikka Balti & Chicken Bhuna. There was plenty for everyone and the differing tastes of each meal worked well. The Bombay potatoes were not as spicy as I've had before but still very tasty. I pre ordered for 6pm delivery and it was very slightly late but not a problem. Would definitely reorder from them again.

I ordered vindaloo but it was really mild. it also took quite a long time. Very disappointing It wasn't even approaching vindaloo hot

Well i was fed up of poor quality indian takeaways so i have been trying different places. So i gave Chilli and Spice a go but when i read the reviews and saw they were 5 star i became a little sceptical about this but boy was i surprised it was the best take away i have had for a long time I will definitely be back to try some other dishes

Picked up a takeaway expecting good things from the reviews but were totally disappointed. It's sad to say the poppadoms were the highlight of the meal. The kebab bahar meats were dry , the bhaji tasted like deep fried cardboard in fact the whole dish tasted like it had been in the microwave for far too long. The mains were just tasteless. The two breads were so dry and inedible they ended up in the bin as did most of the food. Do yourself a favour and try somewhere else.

ABSOLOUTELY DISGUSTED. Your driver proceeded to shout at me as he got lost and asked 5 time where my phone was even though i had stated it wasnt working in the notes. Then he forgets my drinks, returns 15 minutes later with a 6 pack of aldi's own cola. I have paid for coca cola and been delivered this crap! Would never ever order from here agiain

Food was okay, nothing exceptional. We ordered based on the ratings so expected somthing more. Delivery was early which was a bonus. Part of the order was missing but we didn't make a fuss.

Ordered the meal for one out of the pre set meals section of the menu, food was great, good value for the money. Only mark for improvement would be the way in which the naan bread is served. Mine came absolutely huge, bigger than any naan bread I'd ordered via takeaway before and was also relatively tasteless when eaten on its own. As a future suggestion maybe you could decrease the size of the bread base and in return add more flavour to the smaller size. Fantastic food and service otherwise with food arriving piping. hot 20 mins earlier than expected, will be ordering again. 😁

Poor quality. Very odd prawn bhaji, still in it's shell. Keema naan had almost no meat in it. Tandoori Chicken starter had hard bits. First order, and I don't think there will be a second. Sorry.

This was the blandest Indian meal I've ever had - completely uninteresting with nothing to excite the palate.
