Visited this morning, had the breakfast special and a coffee, it was delicious, coffee nice and hot, will definitely visit again

First time visit, very clean, staff friendly, food was really good, scones were great!! Will return thank you keep up your standard!!

A fab breakfast wrap was served . Nothing was too much trouble

A welcoming and warm café that serves lots of types of foods and drinks that are all delicious, even if the quality of food drops they will always ask for your opinion and accommodate any losses. I recommend to all.

UPDATE: 29.01.23: I haven't been since the change in ownership, but I'm excited to visit! I visited in July 2022. I haven't been for many years, since it was Coffee Rappor Bar. The Dancing Cup is great, I think it's much better. The interior decor is really nice and it's a high quality finish. It's very spacious, airy and comfortable. It's very clean and tidy and there is a nice atmosphere. I was very surprised at the quality of the food compared with the pricing. We'd had a bad experience at another venue that was significantly more expensive. This, however, was fantastic in every way and the perfect example of how to run a food and drinks business. The chips and cheese butties were lovely and very reasonably priced. The iced latté's were also delicious, especially with toffee or hazelnut syrups. The crepes finished me off, I couldn't move afterwards. They were clearly freshly made in a pan and not simply a prepackaged, microwaved crepe. I had Biscoff and a banana over mine and they were amazing. The service was fantastic and very attentive and the food and drinks were amazing. At less than £10 per person this was fantastic value for money and a great experience. Thank you.

We recently held a graduation get together for my daughters Northern family. This place was fantastic from booking . Nothing was too much bother. The food was spot on and more than enough ( several people took doggie bags home ). The staff could not have been more helpful even putting a coffee machine on for the none drinkers. I would 100% book here again. It was also the first time in 25 years my son used a dustpan and brush 🤣🤣

I found it a little too warm on a hot day, a/c would have helped. But been there in winter and its been nice and warm.

What a lovely place. I went with my daughter today and we found it by looking for somewhere to eat as let's face it Hartlepool town hasn't many places. Lovely and clean. Food was beautiful. I didn't know a baked potato could be done and presented so nice. My daughter had sausage beans and chips of which she enjoyed. Lovely Lovely place

The hunters chicken loaded fries were out of this world and I mean it! TGI's can't even compete with these bad boys! All at a little local cafe. What a gem!

First time visiting today with my 2 children and my mum and sister. Lovely staff and an extremely kind chef who brought through more chips left from the chip butty my mum ordered. Food was fresh, homemade tasty and large portions absolutely gorgeous tasty food. Will definitely be returning thank you for a lovely visit here x

Food and decor are lovely. Filled with great upbeat music. Drinks are cold and the desserts are to die for! Good to sit in or takeaway.

Having not ventured out very much during lockdown, it was a surprise to see Cafe Rappor was now reopened as The Dancing Cup. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. Lovely friendly, helpful staff and the food is all freshly prepared and served very nicely. Only been twice so far but will definitely keep coming back. It's lovely to see all the children who have been to dance class having such fun. Keep up the good work ladies!

A beautiful little gem on York Road that I've been visiting for a few years. I'm always pleased and impressed with the menu, staff and service. Warm and friendly every time. A wide variety of good, fresh food. Great coffee. They also have quite a good selection of alcohol, in particular gin. 5/5 I always have and likely always will recommend this place to anyone local or visiting.

Had a black coffee and a 'full english' breakfast, was delicious, lovely, clean and bright, with very friendly staff.

I had some rum & raisin ice cream, the quality of the product was outstanding! Will definitely travel 1.5 hours to get another one!

I used to go in but the only 1 table i could use with my electric wheelchair that was usualy taken was changed.I'm tall & was so uncomfortable due to all the lower tables & no leg room.I'm probably not the only customer who uses a wheelchair that has a problem

Always enjoy going to Cafe Rappor. Nice place for a few drinks on a night or for a cuppa during the day (they do a really nice espresso). This is our favourite place for a few drinks then a coffee / Hot chocolate after a meal on the Marina.

It was canny enough. Lovely decor festive and welcoming friendly staff. Only negative was slightly slow service of receiving our order from placing it at till. However the Coffees were spot on and the food was lovely too. My first time in there but my wife and Mother in law have been going in there few times when they have been going to Hartlepool. Lovely place will be back again.

Staff are absolutely friendly, smile on their faces as always. Food quality is above par, most or I will say majority of them are freshly made. Prices are very reasonable as seen. Parking just located behind the bar, 70c per hr. Enjoyed a cup of coffee and tea here with a breakfast wrap and quiche, the quiche tasted really fresh and creamy, chips are made to order. Highly recommended. Will come again for sure.

Coffee Rappor has a reputation of being the cleanest coffee bar in Hartlepool and its clear why. the staff are some of the kindest I've seen in some time who work tirelessly to make sure your experience in special. I have read reviews that say "the coffee is overpriced" which isn't unfair to say but with their coffee being the best tasting in Hartlepool (seriously try it!) its fair to say its worth every penny, but £2.45 for a large cappuccino Is very reasonable. but my favourite feature must be the combination of music with an amazing view of the outside world it's phenomenal. I will definitely be returning.
