Fabulous place for a cuppa or snack with friendly staff, they even have a menu for dogs. Beautifully decorated beach cabins to shelter from the rain if needed. Great place to visit

Nice cup of coffee Wish they did fresh sandwiches during the summer. We are getting bored with either bacon or sausage buns. Cakes are delicious

We were on a walk round the Headland and popped to Poppy Tea rooms for bite to eat. All seating is essentially outdoor & we sat in one of the wooden cabins. We were surrounded by war memorabilia which was interesting & endearing. Our order was taken & service quick. We had sausage & egg buns & 2 coffees. Food was wholesome, tasty & very reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend & will be back.

Fantastic tea room. Just get seated in a cabin and the wonderful staff come and take your order So dog friendly, you can buy sausage for 30p. The coffee and cake was fabulous for the humans. Add this quirky place to your beach walk

While out walking our dog we went pass Poppy tea rooms which said dogs welcome. We popped in to have a cappuccino and also had bacon buns. Table service by friendly ladies. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks and bacon buns. The cappuccino's were lovely and hot. The bacon buns were very fresh with plenty of bacon nicely cooked. It was a good price. If your passing then it's well worth a visit.

We live locally so often call in to the Poppy Tea Rooms for refreshments. The volunteer staff are very friendly and the prices very reasonable. Its ideal whatever weather - you can sit outside when its sunny or in one of the cosey wood cabins if its inclement. They also has a good range of used books, DVDs and CDs for sale if you are into that sort of thing. The toilet facilities are also very good. The cafe is adjacent to the Heugh Battery Museum, which is also well worth a visit while you are here.

A lovely cafe tucked away at The Heugh Battery. Always a fab cup of tea. Today, number 2 son polished off a sausage sandwich, cream cheese bagel and a cheese scone, while I stuck to the cheese and bacon scone. All was delicious, served by a lovely bunch of ladies. Not our first visit and definitely not our last 😋 SR8

Very good value food and drink .Service was good and the outside huts and benches were appreciated.Personally I would have preferred stronger coffee and in retrospect I should have asked for an extra shot .Recommended.

Have had some deliveries from here now, and it never disappoints. The fish is always cooked perfectly and the chips taste like actual chips, which is sadly a rarity.

My bacon sandwich was worthy of 5 stars but my friend's small breakfast was worthy of three hence the four star rating

Lovely little coffee shop. Food and coffee was excellent. Charming waitress. Shame dogs aren't allowed but will return.
