The best restaurants in Wandsworth London

I was always sceptical of this place after walking past multiple times but it hasn’t met up to expectations - it’s decorated like a 8 year olds bedroom - purple walls and butterflies. Food was okay but not many gluten free options (which I assumed there would be more after reading reviews) aside from gluten free bread. Tasted good though - meal choice ~Ape pictured Everyone here seems to order oat lattes so if that’s not your scene- avoid.

Sadly, we went for the sushi buffet on the last day of their offer and it felt like they just gave us all the leftover ingredients. The fish was old and grey with very little taste. And the sushi rolls were falling apart or covered in weird sauce to give it some kind of flavour. Very disappointed at the quality we received, given the pictures take from others.

Desde el momento en que entré, me sentí como en casa, no solo por el ambiente cálido, sino por la comida que me transportó directamente a Portugal. La cocina portuguesa es, sin duda, la mejor del mundo, y este lugar lo demostró con cada bocado. Los sabores eran ricos, auténticos y preparados con el tipo de amor y experiencia que solo puede provenir de una tradición culinaria profundamente arraigada. Desde mariscos perfectamente asados hasta guisos abundantes y el sabor inconfundible de un bacalhau bien condimentado, todo fue absolutamente fantástico. El servicio era impecable, los ingredientes frescos, y cada plato llevaba ese toque casero que hace la comida portuguesa tan especial. No fue solo una comida, fue una experiencia, un verdadero sabor de casa, sin importar de dónde vengas. Si buscas los mejores sabores del mundo, no busques más. Este restaurante no solo sirve comida, sino recuerdos, tradición y un pedacito de Portugal en cada plato. ¡Sin duda volveré!

Fantastic ice cream and great customer service! We tried a few different things and they were all amazing! Creamy ice cream and light and fluffy waffles. Hot chocolate had a delish piped marshmallow topping. They have so much on their menu and everything is made to a high quality. Highly recommend!

We had a really disappointing experience here, having returned on the back of a great night a few years ago. Although the food was still tasty enough, the service was dreadful on this occasion. There were only 3 other tables with diners on while we were there (while other restaurants close by were rammed), and yet it took an age for our food to arrive. After a slight altercation over some wine that one of our party wanted to return (it tasted corked, but we hadn't seen it poured, the waiter refused to accept there was anything wrong with it) we were all without drinks while waiting for the food. Half the table was served food, with the rest following at least 5 minutes after, one dish without a final element for another 10 minutes, and drinks, which had to be requested when the second half of the food turned up, following a bit after that. Once finished, we had to go to some lengths to ask for the bill, chase it up, and our plates still hadn't been cleared by the time we left. They charged 12.5% service.

We were looking forward to dinner as a family in a restaurant with decent European food. Unfortunately they have changed the decor from what’s in the pictures to something much cheaper, which was a shame. Then we were presented with a Bar Menu for dinner with only burgers and sandwiches for dinner in a restaurant. Disappointed, we carried on and ordered the Chicken Burgers, one was burnt and one had the wrong sauce. They kindly took them back but then replaced them with what looked like the same burgers. The prices were also extremely high - restaurant prices for bar food! Unfortunately we won’t be back.

Sadly will not be visiting again due to the very poor customer service from the person serving. Such a shame as being kind costs nothing.

La mejor pizza del Soho. Las rodajas eran apropiadas. El servicio fue genial. Usan ajo mayonesa como salsa para mojar, pero dejaré que eso se deslice... Mi esposa y yo queríamos que nos fuéramos, pero el tipo de la ventana nos convenció de comer, y me alegro de que lo hiciera. Este es un pequeño gran lugar.

Absolutely obsessed with this place! At East Putney Station, it’s hands-down the best spot in London for proper South African biltong. I’ve been to Snoggys plenty of times, but this shop? Miles ahead when it comes to service and quality. At the weekends there’s usually a big guy behind the counter, you can’t miss him, and it’s obvious he knows his meat inside and out. Every time I pop in, he picks out the perfect slabs for me. He knows exactly what he’s talking about, whether it’s biltong, droëwors, or anything in between. It’s like he lives and breathes the stuff. (His name is Patrick though, managers, if you read this, give this guy a raise!!!!!) They stock basic SA products, sure, but the service here? Way more personal, way more knowledgeable, and honestly just more South African at heart.

Este lugar es increíble para la comida, creativo y sabroso. El personal es amable. Lo que falta es el ambiente, más bien frío, y el asiento en la mesa no era cómodo, con la banqueta mucho más baja que el sillón. Por lo demás, fue una gran noche.

La última vez probaremos este lugar. Me encanta la comida libanesa, así que he regresado para el almuerzo de vez en cuando, pero cada vez decepcionado. ¿Debe tomar más esfuerzo hacer mala comida que bien?

Visitamos este lugar todos los días para el desayuno mientras estábamos en la ciudad. Gran comida, todo lo que intentamos estaba bien hecho. El servicio de café y las bebidas también fueron fantásticos, tampoco entiendo cómo son capaces de obtener sus bebidas tan calientes! El servicio fue excepcional, la comida y la experiencia gastronómica casual muestra claramente por qué este es un lugar local frecuentado por los habituales.

Desde Texas, nos alojamos cerca de la estación de Southfields durante 5 días. Vinimos a cenar en nuestro tercer día de vacaciones y terminamos regresando en nuestro último día porque era increíble. El servicio era genial, y la comida también! Todo lo que intentamos las dos veces. Ventajas: Gran relación calidad-precio. Sin duda recomendaría y desearía que pudiéramos volver a menudo!

I took a chance and ordered a takeaway. Result, delicious! I ordered special fried rice not realising it came with large portions of various meats.

I’m in Wandsworth for business staying locally. Really wanted some home cooked food. Googled and found this little spot. Oh my G !! I was so glad I hadn’t eaten all day because when I ordered a large rice and peas and stewed chicken I filled me belly properly. The portion sizes are big so go with your hungry belly. Beautifully seasoned food made with love. Thank you. ☺️
