Best Indian food you will ever eat

Went there for an early Mother’s Day. I was about 10 minutes late as my mum injured herself just before getting to the restaurant. As I arrived, I apologised for the delay and explained it was because my mum had had an accident on the way there. The manager brushed over that and proceeded to tell me, in a rushed manner, I would need to vacate the table we were pointed to after x amount of time. Very warm start. After making that point we were then left scrambling to get someone’s attention. Not great given the limited amount of time at the table. Although the food (1 Côte breakfast and 1 French breakfast) came relatively quickly, it was truly appalling. The poached eggs were hard boiled inside, the smashed avocado evidently hadn’t been dressed (not even salt) other than the chilly flakes sprinkled on top, the black pudding was the driest of ever seen. Served by a blonde waitress with a long face the entire time. Please avoid at all costs!

Food was banging could be less of a wait and more talkative

¡Mi amigo y yo visitamos anoche y estábamos muy contentos con nuestra experiencia y estamos ansiosos por volver! La comida era deliciosa: comimos papas fritas, chapatti, pollo al ajo, albóndigas boona, tarka daal y bhindi bhaaji. Nuestras bebidas también eran encantadoras: Rioja y un martín pescador. El servicio fue excelente por parte de todos: realmente acogedor, amable y educado. Sin duda volveremos y lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Ubicado en el corazón de Blackheath, muy conveniente para la estación de tren y las rutas de autobuses.

A little disappointed that dessert came late at the point when we were about to leave (we did say we had very little time). We were charged for it. Food was good and the venue and ambiance are great.

I would highly recommend Buenos Aires Cafe if you're looking for a deliciously authentic Argentinian food. It can get a bit loud in there sometimes, but ultimately, it doesn't really matter because of how delicious the food is and how great the service is!

We stopped and had a Kim chi and cheese toastie and coffee for breakfast, it was amazingly good, really unusual but made with love. We then brought some veg rolls and spinach and ricotta pastries, these looked good too

Really spicy hot starter of vegan food. A bit different to your average curry house.

El servicio fue muy amable y puntual. Los cócteles y el vino eran preciosos y las porciones eran de un buen tamaño. Probablemente pedimos demasiados. Un poco decepcionado de que bastantes de las tapas que pedimos estaban fritas. El filete de ternera era muy agradable.

Situado en una gran zona de la aldea de Blackheath! La comida era muy deliciosa y era adecuado para todos los niveles de especias. Nos dieron una gama de platos que fueron recomendados tanto para los consumidores de carne y vegetarianos. El servicio fue realmente genial y el personal estaba atento a nuestras necesidades. Sin duda volveremos con más amigos!

Delicious breakfast, great service and beautiful decor

Tuvimos un desayuno francés fabuloso. Buena relación calidad-precio. El restaurante está limpio, con un buen ambiente. El servicio era excelente - nos cuidaron muy bien por Tatiana.

Booked for Saturday 7th March after visiting Blackheath for the first time and happened to pass by the restaurant. When we arrived we were shown to a table which was a little cramped for a member of our party. With no hesitation we were shown to another table by the friendly staff. Our waiter Abdoul was an extremely helpful and cheerful guy and nothing was too much trouble. (We had to try several different wines before deciding on one). The food was excellent and plentiful and the atmosphere "buzzy" without being intrusive. All four of us were very happy with the service, quality of food and wine. 5 stars without question.

Décevant, accueil froid milieu d'après-midi. Nous avons pris à 4 une carafe de vin rouge, la serveuse ne nous a pas présenté la bouteille, elle a fait le transfert au bar sans que l'on sache si c'était bien le vin que nous avions commandé...Nous sommes répartis comme nous étions arrivés...
