Definitely best coffee in the area! Why go to Starbucks when this is by the station? It's got walls covered with dog pictures - simply adorable. Sad to read another review about the owner not being very nice, since the staff are lovely.

Popped in here after a long day walking round the touristy places on the way back to our hotel, great little quirky place, absolutely delicious pizza and very friendly staff. A little gem

Visited the Slice which was located in Swingers Crazy Golf, Oxford Circus for our team build. I had high expectations for the pizza as the photos I saw online looked so yummy. Alas, what turned up in reality was cardboard pizza, very dry and overdone and not much flavour. So the photos on website are very misleading. You’re better off spending money at Pizza Go Go which is definitely tastier and far better value for money. Please don’t waste your money on this rubbish!

I can't imagine who is giving this place 4 and 5 star reviews, the owners, employees? We went there out of necessity on our last night in London as it was right next to where we were staying and we had to be out early the next day and couldn't bother with trying to find someplace good in London on a Saturday night. I knew it would be bad before we went in as we had walked by it many times during our stay and there was never anyone in there despite it being a huge dining room. We were one of two tables at 8:00 on a Saturday night! As with most steakhouses it's an ala carte menu so you are charged for everything (bread, sauces, etc.) I had a tasteless middle tier Argentinian steak and some Dutch mashed potatoes, a side of peppercorn sauce and order of bread which came after we'd finished our dinners. My wife had salmon and mashed potatoes. We got all this amazing food for the low, low price of $186 after British pounds were converted to US $ on my card. We also had two headache inducing glasses of Malbec. The highlight of the evening was looking at the most ridiculously priced wine list I've ever seen. For example - J. Lohr Cabernet- a $15 bottle from California is listed at 122 British pounds or $158.60 US dollars! Avoid this place at all costs unless you like crappy overpriced food and wine. Go to the TESCO next door and get a bag of chips and a coke. You'll be happier.

Devastated to find this wonderful, cosy little vegetarian restaurant (established 1978) has now permanently closed. Streatham won’t be the same without this oasis of calm. Their World Famous Banofee pie, generous salads and bakes now gone forever. Farewell to Kim and all the lovely staff and thanks for all the delicious veggy food and organic wines over the years.

The BEST full English breakfast I’ve ever had, so full of flavour and seasoned to perfection. 10/10 recommend and will be returning.

My roast dinner this evening ticked every box and beyond …. I’m slightly biased as I work nearby and having them as an addition on Abbeville Road is like a dream come true …. Time after time they constantly deliver and the changing of menu keeps me very interested . And depending upon where you sit within their venue also adds a different experience . And then there’s the team , as I said “ I’m biased “ . You will have to try it for yourself . Sash x

Amazing food with lovely service from our host Kwasi (sorry if I misspelt your name!). My partner opted with a nice creamy tagliatelle carbonara and I opted with a juicy sirloin steak which melted in my mouth, both of which I would heavily recommend. Great vibe and a lovely restaurant overall. I will definitely be going there again!

Great American style diner with a substantial menu, but I got food poisoning from a chicken dish and salad. It was the only thing I ate that day as it was an early lunch, brunch. Upset stomach and toilet issues for two days. No reply to my email complaint.

We love this place. My daughters want to go to Edo all the time, especially to celebrate special occasions. The sushi is fantastic. Taste, presentation, imagination are delicious; the service is very kind and patient; and it's healthy. I think the owners can be very proud of this place. It would be good to see them open up the restaurant to the front with a stall to serve their Japanese delights as a tapas-style, instagram-able take away to capitalise on the footfall heading for the park, pub gardens (line that stomach!), transport links, school commute, etc. I wish Edo the best success and we will be back soon :)
