Pabellon Venezuelan Food in Lambeth

I spent like half hour to find it and i sow everything closed without anything written about it

Had been craving a good arepa for days, and this really made me happy and want some more. We went there with two friends and my sister and it was really delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The beef arepa was our favourite!

This Southbank venue is a must visit. The staff is lovely, has excellent recommendations, and lets you sample the fillings if you’re an indecisive doughnut like me. The texture of these arepas is divine and the fillings are rich and flavourful. The sweet potato tempuras are light, fluffy, and beautifully crispy. A perfect side for any arepa you’d choose.

There are lots of food kiosks in this courtyard behind the Royal Festival Hall. Still Pabellon gets good reviews and I'd say that they are deserved as you'll pick up a solid meal from this stall. The sweet potato tempura is perhaps the weakest part as ours were mostly crispy shell but the main meal of beef arepa was pretty spot on and tasty. It's a good spot for lunch here and diners are definitely spoilt for choice!

The food is all naturally gluten-free, which means people with gluten intolerances can enjoy Venezuelan Street Food safely. Was asked if I wanted to try the spicy and garlic sauces but not warned it would be extra, which wasn't ideal. The food was freshly made and did taste nice.

Food is tasty (not amazing). However the staff attitude is awful. Definitely need traning on customer service, smile rather than look at customer irritated and displeased...

Found Pabellon at South Bank food market. The veggie arepa was amazing!! The blackbeans were so flavoursome and paired with a delicious salsa and fresh avocado and the sweet potato fries are epic.

All halal food (sellers says so) in Southbank I ate beef pabellon. A nice combination of all tastes: striped meat, bean, avocado, chopped tomatoes, topped with flaky grilled banana nad served with puffy patty

Located in the Southbank Centre outdoor food market, Pabellon serves up two traditional Venezuelan dishes - arepa and pabellon criollo. The beef pabellon combines rice, black beans, slow-cooked beef, fried plantains, avocado, pico de gallo and cornbread. The service is warm and friendly which together with the Latin tunes playing in the background, bring the flavours of Venezuela to the market. Pabellon is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 8PM.

Service incompréhensible en délai, on ne sait pas qui est servis, accueil fatigué, patates douces en rupture, niveau kebab pour le reste comme les autres stands du coin

Excellent Venezuelan vegan food market stall as part of Southbank Centre Food Market. I have first ever experience with Venezuelan food and it is one of the best I have ever had. Good portion, succulent and juicy taste, with an incredibly generous addition of cheese. Very nice service.

There are a lot of great stalls in the market but this one really stood out and the food looked amazing. We both had the beef and it was just delicious, a must try if you are passing and we will definitely be back

Amazing food, I had the vegan pabellon and the sweet potato tempura and they were delicious! Generous portions too, and the fries remained crunchy and delicious even later in the day!!

I was very excited for my first taste of Venezuelan food and Pabellon did not disappoint. The two guys at the stall were helpful and friendly and the food was just lovely, particularly the arepa, a corn bread perfect for mopping up the last of the black beans and guac 🥑

I just had a tempura sweet potato… are you for real guys? Every bite was a perfect combination of crunch, sweetness and earthiness from the potato and the smoky seasoning is just on point 🙌🏻 Definitely will be back and highly recommend!

Pabellon's chicken arepa is the most delicious thing I have had in a long time! The diversity of flavours and ingredients and the melt in the mouth bread along with the sweet potato tempura is absolutely heavenly. I will definitely be coming back for a second round soon!

My first experience with Venezuelan cuisine and it was AMAZING! Tried their chicken arepa - freshly baked corn bread buns filled with a generous stuffing of slow-cooked spicy chicken along with avocado, tomato, onion, and cheese. An absolute flavor bomb. With a side of crispy sweet potato fries that are to die for! Definitely coming back for more.

As a Celiac finding somewhere which is totally gluten free is always a bonus. The flavours are great and super fresh cooking. Highly recommend the vegetarian.

The food here is refreshing. They have great vegan options and the staff are helpful. I ordered the vegan Arepa with sweet potato fries. The fries were too salty but the Arepa is beautifully made. There is a wonderful balance of both sweet and savoury flavours. This place is definetly worth a try.

I first got an arepa from pabellón at the selfridges Christmas market. It’s now late may and I’ve been DREAMING about getting another one since. Absolutely delicious. Both the chicken and the beef are Devine. Cannot recommend Pabellón enough!

Absolutely delicious food. Had the chicken pabellon, with garlic and spicy guasacaca! Loved every bite - just wish there had been more fried plantain! If there was an option to add more, I would have totally bought it as an add-on. Thanks @pabellonvenezuelanfood !

Great looking place in the food market, big queue, great food

Ate here at south bank market! The food was incredible! I have the beef Pabellon bowl! Portions sizes are so large and flavour was amazing! The arepa was soft and tasty. Authentic and value for money. Will definitely get their sweet potato tempura next time, they looked really good!

Efficient service, delicious , freshly made Arepas and fillings. Fair price. I wanted to deduct 1 star, because i had to beg for an extra empty bowl for the kids, but the rest was so good, so I'm giving 5 stars.

Everything was delicious, need more Venezuelan food in London!

This stall of Venezuelan food is a real example of the most typical Venezuela dish: the arepa. The taste is exactly as it would be if you were in Latin America. The service is extremely good, always with a smile in their face. The fillings offered were a combination of new and old, but in all cases, the portions were very generous. If you'd like to feel like in Venezuela for a few minutes, go and visit them. Highly recommended.

I ordered myself a Beef Arepa at the end of a long day, and boy, it did not disappoint. The pulled beef was succulent and the right amount of spicy, the arepa itself was fresh and tasty, and they did not skimp on the cheese! 5/5 would eat multiple times

I’ve been coming to the Southbank food market for years but only today did I stumble upon Pabellon. My meal was an explosion of flavours. I can highly recommend the arepa ‘sandwich’ with the black bean and sweet potato tempura. Friendly staff who are making real soul-food. Big thanks for an awesome lunch.

I loved my Beef Arepa with Tampora Sweet Potatoes. It was very filling and full of flavours. It was my first Venezuelan food experience and I loved it. I will defiitely buy from there again when I visit Waterloo :)

Absolutely divine!! My partner and I ordered the Chicken Arepa and the Beef Pabellon in Southbank Centre - Food Market and it was one of the best things I have ever had! Goes perfect with a beer, btw 👍 The arepa was perfectly cooked, the chicken and the beef super tasty and the sweet potatoe tempura fries... scrumptious!!!👌 1000x recommend it!

This dish literally took me to Venezuela and brought me back to London, I feel happier and with my belly full. This does not have a price for the rest use your bank cards. Thank you guys! I loved it I want more

Delicious dishes from Venezuela. They have gluten free national bread and you can have vegetarian too. The people that work there ae very friendly and happy.
