Visited the Slice which was located in Swingers Crazy Golf, Oxford Circus for our team build. I had high expectations for the pizza as the photos I saw online looked so yummy. Alas, what turned up in reality was cardboard pizza, very dry and overdone and not much flavour. So the photos on website are very misleading. You’re better off spending money at Pizza Go Go which is definitely tastier and far better value for money. Please don’t waste your money on this rubbish!

Me and my partner had worse pizza, not tested, over priced. For 4 slice and 2 soft drink & 1 said garlic bread £75 pounds this is rip off. I will not recommend to anyone. Never again.

This is a long one, DONT GO. We got seated fine. 10 minutes later a waiter came over and asked what we wanted, when I started to speak he interrupted me and walked away somewhere and never came back. A lady came over and took our order who was lovely. However you can only either order 1 slice of pizza or a whole metre long pizza ? Cheapest slice was £6. As we waited for our food one of the men making the pizzas started shouting and making strong and aggressive hand gestures at the lovely woman who was seating people/clearing tables and making orders who looked like she was going to cry, this made the whole place go silent and look around. I went to the toilet and I was disgusted, I’m not a clean freak by any means but do the toilets even get checked ?? One cubicle was locked from the inside so you couldn’t get in it and the other one had dirty tissue all over the floor, it had NO TOILET SEAT ???? And the toilet roll didn’t have a holder so was either on the sanitary bin or on the floor. There was two small sinks, the soap dispensers were empty so they had a portable bottle by the sink, but there was multiple old scrunched up bottles behind them and on the floor. I wondered how long it had been since the toilets had been cleaned. Our drinks came out and we paid £6 for a pornstar slushy, that was legit the size of my thumb and didn’t taste like there was any alcohol in it. Our slices of pizza came and I ordered the pepperoni one, but mine came with a piece of pineapple on it ? Why is there pineapple on it, what if I was allergic. I don’t normally moan about things like that but after everything else come on. Whilst we were eating, the same man was shouting and screaming and the woman again and even more in the open in front of the customers, whilst she was trying to clear a table and get people seated. My friend asked for the bill very politely and the man didn’t say anything waved his hand like he was shooing us away and walked off, we saw him clearing tables, serving other people and giving other people there bill, and then 25 mins later he gave us our bill. £29.50 for two slices of pizza and 2 thumb sized drinks + a service charge that we didn’t want to pay but we just wanted to get out of there. When we walked out the outside tables were disgusting with pizza boxes everywhere, food splattered all over the tables peoples gloves and belongings thrown about and looked like it hadn’t even been looked at. NEVER GOING AGAIN disgusting.

Absolutely terrible service and a slice is 6.00 minimum. Service forgot order after I waited 45 minutes then was really unprofessional, no apology and singled me out when I was outside but there were three other tables eating outside too.

The pizza was very good, & the service friendly & quick. The decor & ambience was pretty cool - reminiscent of a vintage American pizzeria, complete with authentic retro arcade games (Pacman, Goldenaxe, Street Fighter 2). Just 2 complaints... 1) maybe I'm being tight, but £6 for a slice of pizza seems a tad steep, even for Southbank. It's rolled very thin - which I'm not opposed to - but in terms of monetary value, I couldn't help but feel I'd paid quite a bit for a relatively small amount of food. 2) there was no cutlery at all, that I could see. I'm accustomed to eating pizza by the slice without cutlery but owing to the size & depth (or lack thereof) of this pizza, it's incredibly difficult to do so without making a mess - esp if you order something with lots of toppings. My daughter was most aggrieved about this! All that said, it was a nice experience - & one which I feel would work particularly well for larger groups who could share a metre of pizza at a more reasonable cost. NB: recommend trying the Jalapesto crust dipper - very tasty.

Very little choice on the menu, beware of the hidden service charge in small print at the bottom of the menu. Left without ordering after seeing this.

Visited this restaurant today for a quick bite. Saw that there was a vegan option on the menu so we decided to give it a try. When the waiter seated us, they asked if we would like some still or sparkling water, to which we said yes - normally when a restaurant offers water in this way it is a complimentary jug of water for the table, so I was shocked to find out that the water was added onto the bill at £3 per bottle. The way this was presented did not suggest in any way that it was chargeable - a very sneaky tactic to bulk up the bill it would seem as the water has inevitably been consumed by the time the bill arrives, leaving you no room to question it. When ordering, we asked if any of the sides were vegan but the waiter didn’t actually know so we just went without. Then there was the pizza itself. We ordered two slices of the vegan option and when it turned up we were very disappointed. It mentioned that it had onion (amongst other things) on it on the menu but when it turned up it was absolutely loaded with onion and barely anything else. I asked the waitress if she could please take it back and if I could have one with no onion at all and she went and found out that the toppings all come together in a pickled solution and therefore the onions couldn’t be separated. So the ingredients can’t be very fresh! I therefore decided to go without but my husband ate his as he was hungry but he said it had an unpleasant pickled taste and was soggy. So definitely don’t bother trying this if you are vegan, I ended up going next door to Pret to get a sandwich. I also thought it was quite unobservant how our original server didn’t come to check on us at all, or even notice that my slice had been taken away. Overall a very disappointing visit, will definitely not be returning here.

Really good pizza, great to stop off as you're walking down southbank. Our server, Chloe, was also brilliant and really helpful.

Lovely people. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful food! One slice is just the right amount to fill you up after a long day. No table bookings so it was really easy to walk in and take a seat when everywhere else was fully booked!

I was quite excited by this concept and I love Pizza Pilgrims so when we were (finally) back in the area and energy was running low - there was only one place I wanted to head to. The outside area was closed (which was a shame as there was a jazz busker playing up on the bridge that would have been cool to listen to) but we were pretty happy to be seated inside! Decor is super cool - same cheeky nod to the 90s with the Nintendo and pop culture shabby- chic but also the added bonus of having the pizza chef right in the centre of the action! I was intrigued to see what they would have done with the old Yo! Sushi belt as those things cost a fortune to install/remove but they have actually kept it in situ and used it as a feature which was cool. We were seated in a booth which was really useful as we were with a toddler. It was actually super child friendly and they even have free retro arcade games so easy enough to go with older kids too. (Or, you know...leave the toddler at home next time so you can kick your husbands a$$ with some E. Honda Hundred Hand Slaps....) The staff were all very lovely and welcoming - I think our server was Chloe and she was super nice, informative and had lots of time for our little girl. As for the fodder - it was ok. Didn't massively live up to the hype for me. Sadly, I actually found the pizza quite dry. Whilst I appreciate large slices of pizza need to be a little less saucey to hold their integrity (and your dignity when attempting to eat them) I did feel that without the additional dipping sauces we had ordered, i'd probably not really have liked it that much. Maybe its better to order a metre so the base is cooked fresh to order but we felt that would be a bit OTT for the two and a half of us. I'd def go back coz I really enjoyed the experience as a whole but would just always be sure to order the dips if getting slices! Drink selection was good - will def have the frozen Aperol next time.

When we arrived we were stood for 15 minutes without being seated. Not a problem if the staff acknowledged us, but not one person did. Food came quickly, but pizza was average. Not a lot of menu choice. Serving staff looked like they didn't want to be there. Would not return.

Amazing food with lovely service from our host Kwasi (sorry if I misspelt your name!). My partner opted with a nice creamy tagliatelle carbonara and I opted with a juicy sirloin steak which melted in my mouth, both of which I would heavily recommend. Great vibe and a lovely restaurant overall. I will definitely be going there again!

We Specifically went on Sunday to try their Sunday Roast. We had gone to the Faber Fox, which is a short distance from this pub and it was very disappointing and was more expensive then this pub, so we thought we would go for a comparison. We both had the Beef roast so it was a true comparison with the Faber Fox. The beef was slightly chewy and had some fat, however is was very flavoursome as was the excellent gravy. The Yorkshire pudding was large, however it did not provide the outer crispness with a slightly doughy centre. The potatoes were not as externally chrispy as is my preference, but were the best part of the meal. The vegetables were not over cooked, however there was not any sweetness to them. Atmosphere was excellent, Staff were very polite and the family's kept their children under control. I would score this overall 6.5 out of 10, against the Faber Fox which was probably a 3! I reviewed Erins in Beckenham which was an 8 out of 10!

We had the most amazing meal here! The Burrata & Prosciutto pizza was to die for. We also had the most amazing waitress - Eysen. She catered to all of our needs & arranged a birthday brownie for me! They had a live singer who added a great bit of entertainment while eating. Highly recommend here!
