Such a lovely cafe. INCREDIBLE salmon bagel and super HOME MADE bacon sandwiches. DELICIOUS pancakes with a hint of cinnamon, my boyfriend said they were ‘high key the best pancakes in London’. Such lovely service. ‘Hidden gem’ are the words to describe this place. Love.

I go to this park and cafe almost everyday, it’s a lovely little oasis in a busy place. The coffee is amazing, the owners are the loviest people if I miss a day I feel cheated! The flapjacks are yummy…..❤️ I feel so lucky to live so close….

I used to come to this coffee shop during my kids football club. Now I stopped going as I am fed up waiting 30 minutes on the queue (only 6,7 people on the queue) and then another 30 minutes to get my panini. The service is so slow that it doesn't worth my time. And please, do not justify this as I have been coming winter , autumn, summer and spring. It doesn't matter the season, there is always slow service despite having only few people in front of me. 6 people on the queue can easily mean a 30-45 min wait to get your panini and coffee. Even longer. Even with 3 people at the front, you can easily expect to be there for 30 minutes. This is not acceptable no matter the excuses. When the coffee and food are not cheap, you simply can't justify the extremely slow service . Now I am bringing my sandwich from home or go and eat somewhere else after football as I can't waste 45min of my morning. I've seen many reviews saying they are slow, but they are not doing anything to improve which is annoying.

Coffee shake was 10\10 and bacon and egg sandwich was spot on.

It's a gem. We come here whenever we visit London.

Found by chance as I was in the area having dropped off a friend at King College Hospital in nearby Denmark Hill. I am a Blue Badge holder so can park pretty much anywhere but I wanted a quiet street. This little cafe was perfectly located with the park, and the operator was super helpful even taking time to bring out my Hot Chocolate and bacon sandwich to my table. At the time of my visit they were from Quito Ecuador! Husband and wife team, it was a popular place for local dog walkers who sat on the various benches and tables outside. There was even bowls of water for the dogs!

What a hidden gem!! My favourite cappuccino and South American family owned south London park cafes, thus far. The guy with glasses makes the most amazing coffee. Honestly, the most pleasant, friendliest and warm welcoming bunch of people I’ve met. I always return when I’m in the area. Such a lovely chilled place to have a coffee. Their music choice is a vibe and i always feel comfortable and welcomed here. A nice chilled spot to meet and make friends or to bring family and they have a bandstand sometimes music is played nearby on certain events and occasions.Highly recommend, their coffee which never disappoints. Overpriced bland food in small portions. Bread - panini not well toasted, service takes way too long. Pigeons moving around which makes the eating experience less apoetizing. Staff also seem grumpy,not liming to work or maybe under staffed which leads to slow service and long queues. For the hiked prices you'd expect amazing food, but unfortunately too bland and average coffee. Toilets nearby also need cleaning on a regular basis. They need to take care of the pigeon problem.

Enviable location aside the Victorian bandstand and veteran trees. Modest and unassuming park cafe albeit with a limited selection but offset by the courteous, competent and efficient service. The prices excellent, the location pleasant and the coffee exceeded expectation.

Excellent breakfast. Each half of the bacon sandwich was individually wrapped making it easier to eat. The blueberry pancakes were absolutely delicious. Great coffee too.

If there was a little cat he was a very tiny and shy one but the cafe made us a breakfast and some sauce which was an lovely time they were growing some plant in a milk pots which looks fun and maybe a new trend they also had the nice music to eat your breakfast and wiggle about at

I love this park and cafe a lot. Very lucky to live 2 minutes walk away, makes every day that bit more bearable. The chocolate chip cookies are great! Looking forward to more this summer.

They do a delicious turmeric latte with oat milk. Match that with their homemade carrot cake... YUM

Always friendly service from the owners, great quality food (especially the freshly made pizzas) and also great drinks selection (including freshly made pressed coffee, milkshakes, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, and healthier smoothies/teas/etc.). The atmosphere is always pleasant, with great taste in the music choices over the speakers. And the prices are very reasonable. Regarding the speed of service, I've never found the service to be slow at all. Of course sometimes the queue is very long, speaking to the well-earned popularity of the cafe, but the wait is always reasonable per customer. You can see the size of the cafe, if you're expecting Starbucks level speed from a cafe of this size, that produces such a range of great food and beverages, your expectations are simply not reasonable. I would also have thought that a slight wait for a drink spent in a really nice park wouldn't be such a chore, and would suggest if that's the height of your problems, you should get some perspective. Can't recommend this cafe enough, feel pretty lucky to live close enough to visit regularly

Best café in South London! Please ignore people complaining about the queue, it's nothing at all and it's way more important to keep your staff safe. It also means the quality of the food and drinks are to a higher standard than if it was fast food. Thanks so much to the staff for keeping it open during lockdown, we really appreciate it.

I consider Myatt’s Fields Park and The Little Cat Cafe to be one of south London’s best kept secrets! Here you’ll find the best coffee, as well as freshly prepared hot food and snacks. The team are always super friendly and helpful and have gone out of their way to stay open AND protect customers during this pandemic.

A quick additional review to praise the Little Cat Cafe team and to thank them for staying open as much as possible during the lockdowns. We’re lucky to enjoy such a lovely neighbourhood cafe in our beautiful park. And shame on any of my fellow neighbours who complain about the occasional long queue! Bring an umbrella and a warm coat. The cafe is popular because it’s excellent and it’s all we have in this park. But it’s run by a small team (who work seven days a week!) and there’s only so much anyone can do at the same time. I for one am happy to wait.

Nice hot chocolate and very very cheap prices

Nice little cafe in the park. An amazingly high selection of items available... probably too many. Ice cream, drinks, coffees, muffins, cakes, cocktails, hot foods. This big selection is probably part of the reason the service is so slow. We waited probably 25/30 mins for 3 people / pairs to be served hot drinks. Our order was 10 minutes or more just for 3 small drinks.. it's not a deal breaker, but just slow for a coffee from powder mix. Reasonably priced for a small cafe. Edit to include comments left by owner: no one was watching the covid regulations and this was not why the service was slow. At one point one of the servers literally ignored the queue to go and try to hang up a speaker.. but then she gave up and said it wasn't important anyway. It's not defamatory in any way, don't take it personally.

The coffee is OK but the service is pretty slow.

Remember, the croissants go in the oven shortly after 9am, so you want to turn up around 9:15 to get them hot and fresh. There are usually a few people ahead of you in the queue which gives you enough time to take in the gorgeous surroundings, inhale the freshest air to be found anywhere in London, ogle at the cute dogs that walk by and shazam the song that is playing on the speakers- the Barista’s tastes are wonderfully eclectic ranging from jazz to world music to classic rock. I discover something new here every week. The staff are wonderful, make every effort to keep the place covid secure, and are always up for a bit of banter. And yes, the croissants are absolutely delicious.

The little cat cafe is a little gem at the heart of one of London's finest half hidden parks. The dedicated and passionate staff have built this place up from scratch, renovating the building as well as offering quality, often home made, food, drinks and ice creams, as well as some of the finest coffee you'll find in the whole city. Not only that, but they are involved in all sorts of wonderful projects within the park, so don't be surprised to find, for example, freshly grown veg available for a donation, or young tomato plants for sale. One last thing: the music selection is simply superb, matter how (very justifiably) long the queue is, you'll be nodding your head or swaying your hips in rhythmic appreciation. A wonderful park, wonderful people, wonderful cafe. One of those rare places that it makes you feel good and wholesome to help financially support.

Nos detuvimos aquí para tomar una copa con el ángulo de regreso para el almuerzo con 2 años de edad más tarde. Tardé 20 minutos en recibir el servicio cuando de repente me di cuenta de que en realidad había 2 personas trabajando. Parece que hay una buena variedad de comida, pero el servicio es un poco pasivo agresivo, por ejemplo, pedí una recarga de agua para el bebé y me dijeron que había un grifo en la pared. Había 4 delante de mí si 20 minutos de espera es excesivo cuando no está ocupado.

This was a total surprise. A small cafe located at the back of the park. Service was slow but no-one seemed to mind. Worth the wait as the food was good, and who doesn't like to just chill in the park enjoying a warm or cold drink and a little warm food. If you can be patient this is a good locale to hang out. You can even enjoy a little tennis.

This cafe is excellent! Serving breakfast, paninis and pizzas all at very reasonable prices. There's a wide selection of drinks too. It's in the corner of the park, ideal for a snack on a sunny day.

Good setting - perfect for families with good quality food and drinks. Only downside is the wait time to receive my orders. This isn’t a place to “pop by to pick up a snack quick.”.
