We had a wonderful supper after a visit to the London Dungeon. It is very close to County Hall, the London Eye, London Dungeon and not far from Waterloo Station. We had a pizza, spaghetti carbonara and mushroom risotto all of which were very tasty. Proper Italian food!! It was a shame that we did not have room for a pudding because the chocolate brownies were huge and looked delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient so the service was excellent. The prices were reasonable for a lovely restaurant in such a central location. I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and we will certainly visit again.

A bad start to the day with a curly haired staff guy in the morning. No drink service? When asked about food, the attitude was not wanting to sell... no dip. food not heated. i am a customer, i came to buy food, i paid, i did not beg for food from you. you are not good so don't make other people's business go down Will not come back

Total filthy mess. People making the coffees and serving here should be embarrassed working like that. Grounds everywhere, dirty cups, espresso missing the catch cup and pouring down the side of filthy cups. Sloppy mess.

Hidden away Pret in the middle of Shell Centre. It is very convenient for the London Eye, close to Waterloo Station (though there is a Pret in there too), and a short walk across the bridge to Westminster. Its location means that it's often overlooked and, therefore, can be a quieter place to get food and coffee. Because Shell isn't exactly winning PR wars right now, security is a little overbearing in the area, and sometimes the coffee shop is off limits to anyone apart from Shell employees if protests are expected. It's standard Pret fare in here (for better or worse), though speaking from experience, they do make a good coffee compared to other branches. Friendly service, and they do remember their regulars. Limited seating inside and out (despite the staircase, there is no upstairs) and one toilet that you can usually smell before you can see.

We reserved a table for three people at 4.00pm. Upon arrival we waited to be told which was our table. Having been ignored for a while, we were told to take any table "out there". Having seated ourselves, my friend was told to move as it was a reserved table. She declined and explained we had a reservation and had been told to take any table. I then ordered two pints of shandy - they were poured as half lemonade and half lager. Promptly charged for two pints of Hells Lager. When I queried the £14 I was told not to ask him about the price with a shrug of the shoulders. Huge queues for the toilets which were very unclean. There used to be more toilets downstairs but these were closed off. Have to say a really underwhelming experience service wise and come away feeling fleeced. The whole place felt tired, unloved and with an air of disinterested weariness from the staff. Never met a seven quid shandy before and won't be hurrying back.

Third time I've eaten here. The Cut was busy and it was a warm evening, they opened up the front of the restaurant so it was all very pleasant. Food and service both excellent, the restaurant was full but we weren't hurried. A meal for three with drinks and two courses each came to £110 which is excellent for the quality and location. Thoroughly recommended.

Went to this Starbucks over the weekend whilst on a trip to London. Came in during breakfast for a quick drink and some food. I ordered an almond croissant and a crème brûlée oat shaken espresso. The croissant was dry and stale and instead of the crème brûlée oat shaken espresso, they gave me a crème brûlée cold brew, which was fine, I was happy to accept that instead but upon further inspection I realised that the milk used was off as I had chunks of milk floating around in my drink. Furthermore, instead of an actual bin they just had a plastic bucket on top of the condiment unit to put rubbish in which was overflowing and absolutely disgusting. Will be avoiding this Starbucks on my next London trip.
