The best restaurants in Bishop's Lambeth London

If my granddaughter hadn't of been so hungry I wouldn't have stayed . The seating area is filthy. Floor covered in food stuff and tables unwiped. Grim

A bad start to the day with a curly haired staff guy in the morning. No drink service? When asked about food, the attitude was not wanting to sell... no dip. food not heated. i am a customer, i came to buy food, i paid, i did not beg for food from you. you are not good so don't make other people's business go down Will not come back

Restaurant managed to squeeze us in on a very busy Friday evening. Unforgettable halibut with lobster beurre blanc. The room with the bar is very noisy, try to book in the other room if this matters to you. Very friendly efficient service. A great local restaurant.

What let's this place down is the service. We had a reservation and it took ages to be sat down and then forever for someone to take our order (no we were not going to use an app). Watching the staff it felt chaotic. I would not rush back.

Fue a tomar una copa después del trabajo - 1 calle El vino pedido era cálido, cambió el vino por el más caro que era igualmente caliente , no es un problema, pero tenía que seguir persiguiendo el equipo del bar ( el bar ofrecía servicio de mesa) y al final no fue una experiencia relajante. A la salida, el bar dijo: "Bueno, estaba ocupado y cambiamos el vino" , , , aunque pagamos la diferencia de todos modos! Sugiero que pruebe los Tres Solteros en el camino, mucho más profesional y relajante con mejor comida.

This is a review for the Atrium Cafe, but I'm posting here also. I didn't end up buying anything here as I had an odd and off-putting interaction with at least 2 staff. One black bob hair, the other shaved mullet with LGBT pins. I was standing in front of them when they were making eye contact with me as they whispered to eachother and giggled - with zero tact or subtlety. When asked for the 5th time in less than 30 seconds if I wanted to order anything (they don't leave you alone for a second!) I firmly said 'No' - after that behaviour. Black bob said "Even better - then we don't have to go to the effort of making anything for you." I was quite shocked by the bad attitude. I work in customer service and I know difficult customers, and I didn't do or say anything to warrant that attitude. You should employ adults rather than these silly girls who are obviously bitter about being on the counter rather than on stage.

Very nice food! Kasturi’s service was absolutely fantastic! Will be coming back!

Estábamos en la zona y decidimos probar comida china. . . . Gran lugar con un agradable bar y la mayoría de las mesas con vistas al parlamento y al Big Ben. Ofrece un menú a la carta y un almuerzo (Happy Hour Set) que consta de tres platos a un precio muy conveniente.

As I know lots of negative reviews is really not fair. Many people coming just to use toilet but when staff informed them toilet is only for the customers use, they just simply don’t want accept it (even showing aggressive behaviour and swearing) and posting bed reviews. Staff members just doing their job as we would like to create comfortable environment for our customers. Please respect house rules and do not offend our staff for doing their responsibilities. Thank you

Amazing food. You should try some ramen and katsu. Price looked bit more but location wise and taste of the food, i must admit its quite good.. my overall experience was perfect. If you are visiting ask for the window sit. Believe me you will be amazed.

Ambiente relajado, no demasiado ocupado, perfecto para bebidas. Vine aquí un miércoles por la noche, y estaba feliz de encontrar un lugar no demasiado turístico para las bebidas en el centro de Londres.

Not bad food, staff were ok but they all stand right outside the entrance smoking so you have to walk out with your food into all the smoke. Not very good.

We had a very bad experience with the manager/owner of this restaurant. Earlier today we went there to have tea first and then have our dinner. When inquired about tea we were told that its not a coffee shop and we should read the menu first before even entering the restaurant in a very aggressive and pathetic way. When i suggested them that they can say the same thing politely i was told to get out of the restaurant. Not sure how they treat other customers but this was totally unacceptable and wouldnt recommend anyone going there. I generally dont post or give reviews but their shameful behaviour pushed me to post it.
