Pret A Manger in Lambeth

The brownie never disappoints but the hot Italian wrap did. Especially given the hot food is markedly more expensive than the other sandwiches. I did not enjoy the flavour at all

Totally unprofessional! Staff were rude and unfriendly. Worst customer service I've ever had so far at Pret. I wouldn't recommend this place at all, that's a pity as you have a lovely view from the seats outside.

Worst Pret in the city. WIFI never works. Toilets have NEVER been open (been working nearby for 5+ YEARS and sit here for breakfast - not once have they been open). And the way they reply saying they’re going to investigate. 😅 All you have to do if filter by toilets to see this has been at least a 2 year long complaint in the reviews, nothing has changed.

I recently visited Pret A Manger and had a great experience. The sandwich I ordered was good. Although the prices are on the higher side, I felt the quality made it worth it. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, making the overall visit enjoyable.

If I could give the service a 0 I would, by far worst I’ve had here in London. Attitude issue and couldn’t handle customers. They need to get there staff trained properly. Unprofessional and rude service.

If a person says he has been to London and hasn't read PRET À MANGER around, he has never arrived in London. You can't go to London and not eat at PRET A MANGER, what are you going there for? To see the greyness? To see Elisabetta who is no longer here?

I went yesterday to this shop and it was hell hot and suffocating inside And they are charging alot of money to eat in Like what the hell is this Earning alot and can’t even provide Ac hate their service

the space is extremely hot and suffocating, I feel bad for the workers working there, it was difficult for me to sit and drink my coffee, the ac was not working, so ultimately i have to go outside.

Racist staff who couldn’t be bothered to cut my toastie. Staff weren’t helpful and didn’t call out when my food was done either. The only good thing was the cookie.

Nasty aggressive staff, and dreadful coffee. Tasted of something other than coffee, god knows what they want use, it was watery and boiling. Tried to give feedback and short Indian guy atq with foul breath came up to my chest and started having a go for no reason whatsoever. Nasty little weasel!bad coffee and even worse customer service. They get away with it bc they get enough buisness with tourist footfall. Can’t imagine they have any regulars. Avoid! I would give zero stars if possible.

Toilet constantly out of order - every time go there people are asking to use toilet. It’s a large cafe and has an obligation to provide washrooms - especially in a location like this. Very shoddy - would avoid

I’ve been coming to this Pret twice a week for a quite a few months now - I sit here with some breakfast for a few hours waiting for my coworking space to open in the morning and it never gets busy enough for me to be concerned I’m taking up space, which is great. But what is concerning, is that the toilets in this place have never once been working the entire time I’ve been coming here. There’s no way that a toilet is so broken that it takes this long to get it fixed, so I’m 100% certain it’s closed on purpose to stop people using it and it needing to be cleaned. I appreciate this is in an area with high tourist footfall, and so are likely to get people using the toilet who aren’t customers, but it’s just not good enough to not allow paying customers to use the facilities. You’re taking the piss in all the wrong ways.

Nice and friendly staff. They keep cleaning the place despite that the place always busy and in busy area. I been regular to this place for a month now and really appreciate the service. 5 stars.

Staff getting everyone's orders wrong as we were queing up and tipping away drinks, forgot my sisters drink altogether, when they finally made it, it was incorrect, I went back to get the correct one they were quite rude and didn't say sorry and were actually arguing with me, again customers saying they hadn't been given what they asked for, also toilets out of order, very disappointing, needs looking into really by head office!

It is a chain that has many types of food, salty and sweet, you can stop by at any time. It is not cheap. The coffee is good. It has delicious sandwiches. The toast too.

It shows that closing time is 9pm but when we went inside at 8:25 staff said its closed then we told manager that google says 9pm then the manager said he dont follow google maps Really disappointed due to poor customer service

The toilets have not been working for 6 weeks. It feels like they don't want the customers to use them .but they don't mind taking your money.i will be reporting this to pret head office.

Went to pick up a too good to go bag last night, staff were unfriendly and unfamiliar with the process. Snatched my phone out of my hands and refused to give it back, whilst scrolling through to try and find my order. Items thrown in a bag and thrown at me before being gestured to the door. Take your business elsewhere!

Average pret experience - not very clean inside but service and food was as usual

Terrible attention from the three people who serve. The place says it closes at 8:00 p.m., we bought at 7:30 p.m. and we couldn't even sit down and they started applauding saying that they would close, one of the workers turned up the music at full volume, at 7:45 p.m. we left from the premises and we told him that the time they stipulate says at 8:00 p.m., not before. They said that for them it was already 8:00 p.m. Bad experience

Awful experience with the toilet.. Only one toilet for men women and disabled persons... The worst part is that even this one toilet was full of dirty napkins...

The place wasn't bad at all but you couldn't use the bathroom.

I give one star because of the closed toilet. I visited another Pret near Waterloo station and the toilet was "out of order" which I don't believe it was because MANY Prets put this sign when it gets busy. So I came to this Pret near the Waterloo Bridge and guess what? Toilets were closed. Someone should take legal action against Pret. They open and close their toilets at will hiding behind the "out of order" sign. We pay for coffee so we should be able to use your toilets.

Very nice place! Most of the food is cold so it's better for having breakfast or a snack than dinner. The food that is warm wasn't stocked when I was there (7PM). I ate inside and the music was a tiny bit too lound imo. Still a comfortable place for eating while waiting!

Honestly worst system ever. You order something and they just called the items out, no number assigned no nothing, makes it very confusing when trying to collect. Had to wait longer as well because other people had taken our drinks. The drinks them selves also not good. I got one of the Christmas promotion drinks and it was nothing like the picture. It’s meant to come with whipped cream and sprinkles, yet all I got was a tinny dab of whipped cream in the middle.

The service is absolutely shocking! Two girls on the bar, we tried to order an iced drink and they said they dont do ice anymore (???) and while we were trying to order they were talking between each other and completely ignoring us. One had pink braids and the other one had a hijab, so if the manager sees these, please have a talk with them! Shocking, going to Starbucks next time.

I accidentally knocked a full cup of tea over my table, my husband, the seats and floor. It was scolding water! When I went to the counter to mention it to the team I was told there was blue tissue paper around the corner. I know it’s totally my fault but there was no concern for my husband. There was no attempt to help me clean up! It took a while! We have visited this branch a number of times and the toilets are never available! He had to go two doors down to Strada. They were really helpful and allowed him into the gents to use the hand dryers to dry off! Really disappointed in their response and lack off help. The lady with the blonde bob was more interested in chatting with her friend that popped in (watching me clear up) than in the customers that were present. My husband finally returned and finished his drink. I was not offered a replacement and I didnt Want to give this team extra money to buy another one when they couldn’t be bothered.

Probably the worst Pret in London. Moldy tables, there was no food on the shelves, the staff was clearly overworked and had to rash to do anything, no customer service whatsoever. They should invest more in this shop as it is not the staff’s fault !!

Absolute worst hot halloumi & falafel wrap, overcooked and tasteless - don’t know why I didn’t return it. On the plus side nice outside seating as all indoor tables taken and at least dry/sunny if not chilly, good service with short queues and other product standard you would expect!

This has got to be the worst Pret I have been to. I have never before encountered such surly and incompetent staff. You place an order and they just walk off before giving you the pastry you paid for. They only seem to communicate in glares. It's the nearest Pret to my office but I often find myself walking further to a different branch just to avoid the attitude and poor service. They have spurred my decision to cancel my subscription.

My golden retriever Therapy dog was thirsty so I went in for a cup to give him some water. The manger Atiq refused to give me one! Absolutely shocked me and the other customers and not whom I imagine Pret want representing them! Note I purchased multiple items.

Ordered a drink but it never came, asked for it twice and was told it was being prepared but could clearly see no drink matching my order at either prep station. Staff wasn't very friendly either, eventually just left.

Good products, a bit expensive, staff could be a bit nicer and smile more. Still recommends it

Buen sitio para descansar mientras se hace el paseo por el río. Tienen variedad de comida sana (ensaladas y sándwiches) y buenos precios. Cuentan con una buena terraza muy agradable. Los baños estaban cerrados.

Direkt am London Eye gelegen und daher sehr gut besucht. Wir hatten das Chicken Baguette und das Avocado Oliven Baguette. Beide waren frisch und sehr sättigend. Es könnte an den Tischen etwas sauberer sein.

Leckere Baguettes und Sandwiches zu allerdings überzogenen Preisen.

Toilets have been “out of service” for many, many months. They shouldn’t be allowed to continue operating until they open them.

Bought dinner and suddenly they were closing 10 minutes later. Nobody told me anything. I’m not going to return here.

Quick service however they were busy with full of customers waiting in queue to order and get their food or drink.

The customer service is awful, I ordered coffee for myself and baby chino for a child. I asked to make baby chino in a flat white cap, the respond chocked me, as the member of staff said they will charge for baby chino as it’s in flat white cap. Moreover, member of staff that served us was team leader. Haven’t seen such rude and unprofessional customer service for a while. To add more, I worked at pret myself and know what is good customer service is.

More than content. The subscription is heaven and I recommend trying the avocado wrap.

Conveniently located pret in the heart of South Bank. Nice to have both indoor and outdoor seating and plug sockets indoors. Also do the smoothies which not all prets do and the late opening times are great. However the toilets are constantly closed/broken - but you can use the southbank centre toilets directly above for free.

Staff are incredible always service with a smile but it's like walking into a sauna on most days. Why is the air conditioning not on? Would be extremely uncomfortable to dine/drink in, must be awful for the staff having to work in that heat.

The staff is very nice but unfortunately this is not what the brand tries to pass on to customers. This is not a GREEN brand. They are not worried with environment but only with profit. If you order a coffee to drink inside, you pay more, but they still give you a take away cup. I ask no lid but they can't for health and safety issues. All the film they use on food wrapping os not recyclable or compostable. In terms of food is ok but I think you are not doing enough in waste issues.

Toilets always closed! Toilets that are installed in a business by law permanetly closed to save the work of keeping then clean and in order. Disgusting management! THIS HAPPENS IN MANY PRET and something should be done!

Toilets are always closed…don’t matter when you come. It’s seems like they don’t want to clean it so they just keep them closed

In general this, and other Pret restaurants are overrated in my view. The food is basic and extremely overpriced. Half of the menu is focused around the newest fad or rabbit food that the kids are eating because they think it's hip or has magical properties.

I usually enjoy my visits to Pret quite a lot but my experience in this branch yesterday was awful. There was a long queue ~1pm which is fair enough, the staff moved very quickly to clear the queue between the 4-5 tills that they had (all opened). Yet the Italian Prosciuto sandwich contained stale (as in rotting) leaves in it and at the till I asked for a vanilla flavoured coffe (twice, as I've herd the attendant asking the barista for caramel) and I'm being delivered a caramel coffee. I'm complaining that's not what I've asked for and then he does another one in a hurry (a bit too quickly in my exprience) that was caramel flavoured again (although he's told me it was vanilla) - thinking this must have been revenge now :). There you have it, reading back this review it does sound like I'm bitching over caramel vs vanilla, yet the service was sub-standard for this visit.

No cleaning or hygiene in the sitting area. Either no cleaninh staff or the cleaners are serving the customers.

I apologise as I don’t know her name, but the young lady with blonde hair that is fairly tall was exceptional!

Yesterday the tables & especially floor outside were filthy with spilled drinks & food (which got on my shoes). As it was 10.30am on a quiet Sunday morning, it clearly hadn't been cleaned since the day before. Yuk.

Tres chouette endroit en bord de Tamise. Bonne équipe de jeunes rapides et efficaces. J'ai adoré le yaourt avec de la mangue et de la banane. Pas très cher.

Great customer service and wonderful cafe stocked with hot and cold drinks. The opening timings are updated though and they seem to be serving for a longer time than usual

It is ok. Pret taken over Eat previously here before. Toilet is closed, by the way. Also southbank centre ( Royal Festival Hall) is closed, if you need toilet need to go station or somewhere else ( which is pretty inconvenient) to just warn you. Cleaness: probably needs more cleaning on tables.

Very new (used to be EAT) and friendly Pret. It can get busy on weekends, but I find that in the mornings it’s quieter than other shops in the center. It has a nice terrace for when it’s sunny.
